Sora was at the entrance of a pokemon center, it was almost surrounded by tall large buildings and had a small park in front of it. Nurse Joy was standing next to Sora and Biyomon was peeking inside.

"Hello! This is Sora reporting for the Ultimate Challenge. Right now we're in New Alexandria, the largest city in all of the island. With me is nurse Joy." she put her microphone in front of Joy.

Joy turned red and didn't say anything.

"Um... will you tell us about your guests?" Sora said trying to get the nurse to speak.

"Oh yes! The yellow team is in the pokemon center!"

A brief moment of silence before Sora has to speak again "And they are here because..."

"They slept here."

"And they slept her because..."

Joy was clearly sweating. Biyomon didn't fail to notice. "Sora! Nurse Joy is melting! We have to do something!"

"How many times do I have to tell you that people don't melt? they sweat!"

"Hey!" Nurse Joy finally said "Don't yell at her like that, she's only worried."

"Um.. sorry. She knows I'm not really mad."

"That's no excuse, Digimon like Pokemon need love."

Biyomon had a big smile "Sora has plenty of that! She even has the crest of love!"

Sora blushed.

Nurse Joy turned to Biyomon "Would you like to go on and see how we treat the pokemon?"

"Would I!?"

Nurse Joy and Biyomon entered leaving Sora alone.

Sora laughed nervously "Hehe... guess Nurse Joy has her way with Digimon just like Pokemon. Anyway, the Yellow Team was able to spend the night here because Ash is a pokemon trainer and he is always accepted in them, along with his companions. But I've taken too long and you probably want to watch the action, so off I go."

Freya woke up. She left the dormitory and decided to leave the pokemon center to take a walk. No sooner had she stepped outside the pokemon center that she noticed Izzy and Tentomon sitting on a bench in the park. Izzy had his laptop on his lap and Tentomon was beside him looking at the screen. Freya was curious and walked towards Izzy.

"Good morning!" Freya said.

Izzy did not respond, Tentomon said "Good morning Freya."

"Izzy?" Freya tried to get Izzy's attention.

"Don't bother, Izzy is in think mode. The whole world around him just banished."

"What is he doing?"

"Guess what, we've found the other teams."

"Really! This is important, why haven't you told us."

"Sorry, this is just how Izzy is."

Freya stood in font of Izzy, she swung her spear in front of Izzy's face barely missing it. Izzy yelled "Ahhh!"

"Good. I got your attention!" Freya said.

"Did you have to do it like that?" Izzy asked.

"Why haven't you told us you found the other teams?"

"Well, I was still working on something. Look at the screen."

Freya looked at Izzy's laptop, just now she noticed that his digivice was hooked to it. On the screen was the map of the island, but now there was a red and a blue dot besides the usual yellow dot.

"Are those the Red and Blue team? They are very close."

"They should be" Izzy said "I was able to locate their digivice with my own. I just plugged into my computer and put them on the map. My digivice has limited range though."

"If you can see them with your digivice, can they see you?"

"Yes, but unlike me they can't tell which is which. I was able to because I know each digivice has a different frequency and was able to recognize each signal."

"Has any of them decided to come here?"

"No, in fact it appears that the Red team is following the Blue Team. And at the pace they are going they may reach them soon."

"I'm noticing that the Blue Team is in the jungle, remember how hard it was to move in there?"

"Yes"

"Wait, how long have you been watching them?"

"I noticed them on my digivice since last night, and I had been ignoring it for a while so they may have appeared earlier than that. Since yesterday they have moved like that so I didn't worry much. Right now we don't have freedom of movement because of Cologne and neither was after us so I thought that it wasn't necessary to tell you guys."

Freya then remembered something, she wasn't sure but she had to ask. "Izzy, what's your full name?"

"My name is Izumi Koushiro. People just call me Izzy. Why the question?"

"Um.. nothing. It's just that you're really smart. If you ever became famous I hope I can brag about knowing you."

"Izzy is a genius! The rest of the gang would have been lost for ever in the digiworld had it not been for him!" Tentomon said.

"Don't flatter me like that."

"Your parents must be proud of you."

Izzy remained quiet, Tentomon just said "Izzy is adopted."

"Tentomon!" Izzy said.

Freya said "I'm sorry, I didn't know. But it's nothing to be ashamed of. What happened to your parents? If you don't mind me asking."

"They died in the car accident when I was a baby. I was in the car, nobody knows how I survived."

"I'm sorry. I won't ask more" Freya said.

"That's ok" Izzy said "But do you mind if I ask something personal now?"

"It's only fair." Freya said.

"Is it true you lost your loved one along with your kingdom and are participating in this contest to get your mind of it?"

"Who said that? That's far from the truth."

"Just heard it somewhere..."

"Sir Fratley, the man I love lost his memory."

"Oh... sorry to hear that."

"Don't be. Even thought at some point he didn't even remember me and even today does not remember anything about our past. We have been able to renew our love for each other, thanks to Zidane I learned that we should not worry about our past, but live the present. Sir Fratley and I still have the rest of our lives to cherish."

"Wow" Tentomon said "But if that's true then why are you participating?"

"I'm still a warrior, and it's hard for me to stay still. Besides, the money would help out Burmecia plenty."

They then heard a voice yell "What are you guys doing?" they turned around and saw Ryoga. Goku, Ash and Pikachu were there as well.

Freya: "Izzy found the other teams!"

Goku: "Really! Where are they?"

Izzy: "Well the Red Team is northwest from here moving northeast, they appear to be chasing the Blue Team. The Blue Team is moving east."

Ash: "Why would they chase the Blue Team instead of us?"

Ryoga: "They probably want their jewel."

Freya: "The Blue Team should just face them, they'll waste energy running like that."

Izzy: "Well that doesn't really concern us. We have to worry about our own jewel. Remember Cologne has the ruby."

Cologne: "I thought you had forgotten already."

Everyone turned around and saw Cologne, she was standing just a few feet away from them. She had the ruby around her neck like a necklace. Goku didn't waste any time and charged at Cologne, he tried to grab the jewel from her.

"Hehe, this is just like training with Master Karin." Goku said.

"That old cat? He's quick, but not as quick as I am." Cologne moved quickly and Goku missed the ruby.

Goku kept trying to get the ruby but Cologne was able to avoid him all the time. At some point Goku tried to tackle Cologne but she leaped to avoid him. Goku was quick to react and leaped after her. Ryoga and Freya leaped as well.

"Chikorita! I choose you!" Ash said while throwing a pokeball.

Chikorita came out of her pokeball. "Chiko!"

"Chikorita, use your vine whip to get the ruby."

"Chiko!" Chikorita did as told and extended her vines to get the ruby.

Cologne took the opportunity and let the vine wrap around her stick. She then quickly moved around her opponents and tied them up in the vine. She landed on her feet but Goku, Ryoga and Freya landed on their rear ends.

"Tentomon!" Izzy said.

"I'm on it Izzy!"

"Pikachu!" Ash said.

"Pika!!!"

Both Tentomon and Pikachu attacked Cologne with their electric attacks, she avoided them easily. "Kids these days, they have monsters do their work. You're going to have to do better than that if you want a badge." She then leaped away and disappeared into the streets.

Ash called back Chikorita, she disappeared into her pokeball along with her vines, setting the rest of the team free.

"We have to think of some way to get that ruby back." Ryoga said.

"Let's go look for her!" Ash said.

"Wait!" Izzy said. He put the map on screen and zoomed in on New Alexandria.

"What are you doing?" Ryoga asked.

"We won't get our ruby back if we keep doing the same thing. We must catch her by surprise."

"Guess you're right." Ash said.

Izzy pointed to the screen. "Well she's around here, we must try to surround her and take her by surprise.

Goku, you seem to be the fastest, why don't you take this route and get ahead of her. Ryoga and Freya can take these two streets and try to take her by the sides. Ash can try to follow her the way she went. I'll ride Kabuterimon over the city and try to find her, I'll try to fly above her so you know where she is. But we must hurry."

"Izzy has a point, let's try it." Freya said.

Goku didn't waste a moment and started running. Ryoga and Freya followed.

"Come on Pikachu!" Ash said as he ran the way Cologne went.

"Tentomon! We're going to scare a lot of people but we can't help it."

"I know Izzy." Tentomon said "Tentomon digivolves to... Kabuterimon!"

All the people that were walking around got scared and started to run away screaming. Izzy got on Kabuterimon and flew above the city.

Goku ran along some narrow alleys to get ahead of Cologne. At some point he saw her resting on a bus stop, but he decided to stick to the plan. He continued running a little longer.

Freya was jumping from a car to car. Many people were yelling at her, even though she was doing it with grace and was not damaging the cars.

Ash and Pikachu ran as fast as they could. He was clumsy and was bumping many people off in the way. He kept apologizing without stopping.

Izzy was flying over the city. He had already located Cologne and saw how Goku, Freya and Ash were surrounding her.

"Where's Ryoga?" Kabuterimon asked.

Izzy looked for Ryoga and saw he was going the wrong way "Um... I forgot about Ryoga's lack of direction."

"What should we do Izzy?"

"We can't let Ryoga get too far. We'll become too apart and that's against the rules. I don't want to get disqualified. Let's go get him."

"Right!" Kabuterimon flew towards Ryoga.

Cologne felt she was being surrounded by the Yellow Team. Before she knew it she had a Charizard above her. "More monsters..."

Charizard tried to hit Cologne with his tail but she just gave a little leap and hit him on the head with the tip of her stick. Charizard flew uncontrollably and crashed against a wall.

Goku arrived and tried to take Cologne by surprise. She reacted in time and used her stick to block Goku's attack, but in the last second a spear hit her stick and knocked it off her hands. Goku was able to grab Cologne by the shoulders. She used his own momentum and tried to roll him off; to her surprise Goku did not let go.

"Chikorita! I choose you!" Ash said.

"Chiko!"

"Chikorita!" use your vine whip to wrap Cologne!"

"Chiko!" Chikorita did as told and this time was successful in wrapping Cologne.

"Gotcha!" Ash said.

"We did it!" Goku said.

"You did what?" Cologne said "You have to get your jewel back, not capture me."

"Um.. I guess. But aren't you going to give us our ruby now?"

"Even if you don't, we can always take it." Freya said.

"Is that right?" Cologne said. She then started making an awful sound "AAAAAAWAYAWAYWAYA!!!"

Everyone covered their ears, Chikorita couldn't concentrate and had to let go of Cologne. She went to get her stick then started to get away.

"Not so fast!" Ryoga said as he leaped towards Cologne.

Cologne was taken by surprise but she reacted in time, she gracefully used Ryoga's head as a stepping stone to leap farther away.

"Kabuterimon!" Izzy said "We're the last hope."

"I won't fail you Izzy!" Kabuterimon said.

Cologne saw Kabuterimon coming and hit him in the head with her stick while avoiding him. Like Charizard, Kabuterimon lost control and crashed. He turned back into Tentomon.

"Nice try!" Cologne said "Better luck next time!" she left.

A few minutes later everyone gathered around.

"What took you guys?" Goku asked.

"Well you see..." Ryoga said "I got lost."

"Figures..." Ash said.

"Pika..."

"No point complaining about that now." Freya said "What are we going to do now?"

"Um.. I have a suggestion, but it has nothing to do with Cologne." Izzy said.

"What is it?"

"Well, while we were flying above the city. Tentomon and I noticed the local stadium."

"Yeah. It was kinda weird." Tentomon said.

"What is it?" Ash asked.

"It hasn't been prepared for any sport; not football, baseball, track n' field, nothing. It looks more like coliseum when you see it from above."

"You think we should go check it out?" Goku asked.

"Yeah."

"But what about Cologne?" Freya asked.

"We still have tomorrow to try and get our Ruby back."

"Well, I guess it won't hurt to take a look." Ryoga said.

A couple of minutes later the Yellow Team made it to the stadium. To their surprise the main entrance was open with no security at all, but nobody would go in. They carefully went inside; after a while they made it to the field.

"What do you suppose this is all about?" Ash said.

"I don't know." Izzy said "But I'm almost sure this has to do something with the Challenge."

"You're right!" said a voice from the bleachers.

Goku recognized the voice and turned around with a smile on his face "Bulma!"

"It's about time a team made it here." Bulma said "Do you know how dangerous this job is for a beautiful woman like myself?"

"But not a very modest one." Ash said.

"What are you doing Bulma?" Goku asked.

"I'm looking after a guardian mind you. And it isn't easy, the guy gives me the creeps. I'm sure glad this is going to be over."

"So we're going to face a guardian now?" Freya asked.

"Yep! Just go to the center of the field. You'll see him."

"What about you?" Ash asked.

"I have another job to do. See ya guys!" Bulma went towards the stairway and went up.

"Hehe, this is pretty exciting." Goku said "I hope it's someone real strong. It's been a while since I've faced a good challenge."

"I know what you mean. I'm dying for some good action as well." Ryoga said.

The whole team was now in the middle of the field.

"Are you ready Pikachu? This is a lot different from the other challenges we've had."

"Pikapika! pikachu!! cha!!!!!" Pikachu seemed ready.

Suddenly they heard a voice. "Welcome everyone to this live challenge!!"

"That's Sora!" Tentomon said.

"What is she doing?" Freya asked.

Sora's voice came from high above, she was in the commentators booth. "Today we have the Yellow Team with captain Goku against a really tough guardian. With me is the talented Bulma and she's going to be my co-host for today."

Bulma's voice was now heard "Thank you Sora, it's a pleasure to be here."

"Oh brother..." Ryoga said "Not only do we have to face a guardian. We'll have to listen to those two while we're fighting."

"Hey Sora!" Biyomon's voice was now heard "Isn't Biyomon the CO-host?"

"Not right now Biyo. You can be the mascot!"

"And what does the mascot do?"

"It just dances around trying to cheer people up."

"That sounds easy!" Biyomon started dancing in the booth.

"And today our heroes' opponent we'll be none other than Myotismon!!"

"Myotismon!!!" Izzy said, a touch of fear in his voice.

"Who's that? Goku asked."

"It's sounds like the name of a digimon." Freya said.

"You're right!" Tentomon said "and not just any digimon. One of the meanest of them all. This is going to be tough guys!"

"That sounds like fun!!!" Goku said with joy.

Bulma said "And here he is ladies and gentlemen! Myotismon!!"

"I wonder who they are talking to." Ash said "There's nobody here but us."

Suddenly from one side of the stadium the doors opened and out came Myotismon.

"This is going to be a tough challenge for the Yellow Team." Sora said "It took all 8 of the digidestined in their ultimate form, well except for Angemon, to defeat him."

Ash gulped when he heard that comment.

Myotismon started floating in the air, he smiled and said "So you're the challengers. It's a shame Gatomon is not with you. I would have loved to put her in her place."

Freya was now in a fighting stance "You'll have to settle for us! We're the ones who are going to defeat you."

Myotismon laughed "With only one digimon?"

Goku smiled "Hey pal! you look strong! I'm looking forward to this! We don't need any more digimon!"

"And right now the challengers and Myotismon are trying to intimidate each other!" Bulma said "Nobody seems to be having any success."

Sora said "Well... Izzy seems pretty intimidated. That's because he knows what Myotismon is capable of."

"Whatever... I wish they get it on already!"

Goku was now ready to battle "OK! HERE I COME!!" he leaped towards Myotismon.

"Crimson Lightning!!" Myotsimon attacked Goku with his whip like attack, it knocked him away and went back the ground.

"Tentomon digivolves to... Kabuterimon!!"

Kabuterimon flew above Myotismon "Electoshock!!"

Myotismon was able to bat away the attack, it hit the bleachers and made a large explosion.

"We'll be in a constant disadvantage while he's in the air. We have to get him down."

"How are we going to do that?" Ryoga asked.

"Let me try something!" Ash said "Bulbasaur! I choose you!"

Bulbasaur appeared.

"Bulbasaur! Use your solar beam!"

"Bulbasaur!!" Bulbasaur started to gather energy from the sun.

"Looks like they are up to something!" Sora said.

"Well they better be, right now it doesn't look good for them." Bulma said.

Bubasaur shot his solar beam at Myotismon, but he dodged it easily.

"Grisly Wing!" Myotismon attacked with a flock of bats.

"Cheery Blossom!" Freya used her abilities to launch a storm of pink petals that neutralized Myotismon's attack.

"Solar Beam!" Ash asked his pokemon to repeat his attack.

Bulbasaur used another solar beam but Myotismon dodged it just as easily. Unfortunate for him he did not notice Goku leap again, Goku landed a good kick right on Myotismon face, knocking him down.

"We did it!" Ryoga said. He charged against Myotismon.

Myotismon was able to get on his feet quickly and attacked Ryoga with a kick of his own. Ryoga was able to block it, but the force it had was able to send him flying back.

Ash called Bulbasaur back. "Charizard! I choose you!"

Charizard appeared, breathing fire everywhere.

Goku charged against Myotismon, he threw many punches and Myotismon was only able to block them without putting some offense himself.

Freya leaped into the air and threw her spear at Myotismon, at the same time Charizard flew above him and attacked with his flame-thrower.

Myotismon saw this coming and leaped away hoping Goku would get hit. To his surprise Goku dodged the fire, caught the spear and threw it again at Myotismon. The spear went between his chest and his arm; and right through his cape.

"Electroshock!" Kabuterimon attacked Myotismon trying to get him off guard.

His attack hit the bullseye and sent Myotismon back to the ground. He was just getting up when Ryoga hit him on the back with a flying kick. He was sent to the ground face first.

"Looks like the difference in number is weighing heavily on Myotismon!" Sora said.

"Right! It seems like it's going to be an easy victory for the yellow team!"

"Let's hope they don't blow it."

"Kame...hame...ha!!" Goku attacked Myotismon with his strongest attack.

Myotismon was barely able to dodge the attack but was thrown back by the explosion. He quickly got back on his feet, he though 'If I don't do something quick they are going to defeat me. I need to take out each one.'
Without notice Myotismon charged towards Ash.

Ash wasn't able to react in time and got hit by Myotismon's forearm. He hit the ground and laid unconscious.

Myotismon stopped a few feet away from Ash and turned around, ready to attack. "Grisly Wing!"

Pikachu got between Ash and Myotismon "Pikachu!!!" he used his thundershock to neutralize Myotismon attack, but it was no use, he was only successful in slowing it.

Fortunately Ryoga was able to grab Ash and Pikachu and get them out of the way before Myotismon's attack hit them.

Goku and Freya both attacked Myotismon at the same time, but he saw them coming.

"Nightmare Claw!" Myotismon attacked them both. Freya got hit and screamed for a few seconds before falling to the ground. Goku was able to dodge the attack but was not able to strike Myotismon

"Myotismon is making a comeback!" Sora said.

"He's like a virus!" Bulma said "Really annoying and hard to destroy."

"Actually he IS a virus."

Both Charizard and Kabuterimon attacked Myotismon from above. Unfortunately he was able to dodge their attacks as he flew up. He grabbed Charizard by the tail and swung him around for a while before throwing him against Kabuterimon. Charizard hit Kabuterimon and they crashed against the bleachers. Charizard lay unconscious. and Kabuterimon turned back to Tentomon.

Myotismon saw as Izzy ran toward his friend shouting his name. He went back to ground and landed just behind Izzy. "Crimson Lightning!" he hit Izzy on the back and sent him to the ground; but he was still conscious.

Myotismon hit him again with his whip like attack to make him suffer.

Both Goku and Ryoga were about to attack by Myotismon but were attacked by a flock of bats. They destroyed many of them, but they were being bitten at the same time.

Myotismon was still hitting Izzy, he kept yelling in pain.

Ryoga could not stand hearing his friend scream like that. It made him sad and angry at the same time, especially because he could not help him. Suddenly he started glowing in a green aura. "AAAAH!!! Stop hurting him! Shi-shi-hou-kodan!!!"

Myotismon did not pay any attention to Ryoga or Goku, he was having too much fun hurting Izzy. He never saw the huge blast of energy coming. He just felt the impact and was sent flying all the way to the other side of the stadium.

"WOW!! That had to hurt!" Sora said./p>

"Ryoga packs a punch when he wants to." Bulma said.

"No kidding, even Goku has not done a move that powerful."

"Sora?" said Biyomon "Can Biyomon stop dancing? my feet are getting tired."

"Sure Biyo, take five."

"Five what?"

Ryoga's blast had been so powerful that the bats that were around him were blown away. Ryoga fell to his knees and panted.

Goku grabbed Ryoga's shoulder "Are you all right? That was incredible! You know many great techniques!"

Ryoga smiled at Goku "Thanks! But that move is not something you would want to learn, stick with your kamehamaha. I feel that Myotismon is not defeated yet."

"Yeah, I feel it too."

"I used up all my energy in that attack, I can't help you. Please defeat Myotismon Goku. I'll try to help the rest of the team."

"You can count on me Ryoga, I won't let you guys down."

Just then they heard Myotismon scream and saw that he was charging at them. Goku reacted in time and charged against Myotismon.

The two warriors were about to clash but Goku leaped over Myotismon in the last second. He turned around in mid jump and kicked Myotismon on the back. To his surprise his attack did not hurt Myotismon.

Myotismon turned around and hit Goku, he was sent flying against a wall,

Goku simply got up and charged again, but Myotismon flew above to get out of Goku's reach.

Goku looked up and yelled "Coward! Come down here and fight me!"

"Why should I? I can do it from up here. Crimson Lightning!" Myotismon attacked Goku with his whip, but Goku dodged it easily.

Myotismon kept attacking Goku and he kept dodging. Goku was very quick and Myotismon was starting to get angry. He turned around and noticed Ryoga was carrying Freya towards the bleachers as he had already done with Izzy and Ash. He decided to attack Ryoga instead.

Ryoga did not have time to react, he was hit with Myotismon's attack and fell down, dropping the unconscious. Freya.

"COWARD!" yelled Goku while running towards Ryoga. He was so fast that he was able to get in the way before Myotismon hit Ryoga a second time. Unfortunately Myotismon took the opportunity and wrapped Goku in his whip.

"HEY!! That's cheating! Where's the referee?" Bulma yelled.

"There is no referee. Besides what good would it do? They never make the right decisions anyway." Sora said.

"Well, at least we would have someone to blame."

"True."

Myotismon lifted Goku and slammed him against the ground, he lifted him again and slammed him against the bleachers, he slammed him several time. After a while he saw that Goku had become weak and floated down, he still held him. "Hahaha! Did you really believe that you could beat me? Fools!"

Goku stared at Myotismon "I've had many opponents that were stronger than you, but nobody fought as dirty as you!"

"Maybe you would have been better without them!"

Ash was starting to wake up.

Goku yelled at Myotismon "NO! They are my friends and they have all fought bravely. I am proud to call them my friends!"

"How touching. But in the end it was worth nothing to you, but to me, they'll make a nice dinner."

Goku became wide eyed "WHAT!?"

"I plan to feast in your blood tonight, oh what a wonderful..."

"Shut up!" Goku yelled; a tear forming in his eye.

"... it's going to be like a fine wine..."

"Shut up!!" a green glow came from beneath his clothes.

"...I think I'll have the rat girl for dessert..."

"Shut up!!!!" Goku's eyes became green.

"...it will be an evening to remember..."

"SHUT UP!!!!!!"

Myotismon was suddenly thrown back, he landed a few feet back not yet knowing what had hit him. He held his mouth open as he realized it was only Goku raising his energy that had thrown him back. He saw that Goku had changed his appearance, he now had green eyes and golden hair that stood up, a bright golden aura surrounded him."

"Seems like Myotismon just crossed the line." Sora said.

"Go Goku! Go Goku! Go Goku!" said Bulma

Biyomon joined Bulma"Go Goku! Go Goku! Go Goku!", but then she stopped to ask "Where does he have to go?"

"I won't forgive you." Goku said with a serious face.

Before Myotismon knew it he was suddenly facing the sky, his face hurt like it had never hurt before. He then saw Goku standing besides him. He got scared and quickly got up and flew away. He looked down to see Goku but he could not find him.

"You can't get away like this anymore." he heard a voice behind and before he knew it he was hit on the back and crashed against the ground.

Trying to ignore the pain Myotismon quickly got up and flew again. He turned around and saw that Goku had not move.

Goku put his hands together. "Kaaaaa... Meeeee... Haaaa... Meeee..."

"You won't get me with that!" Myotismon said. He tried to escape but something had got his feet. He looked down and saw vines wrapped against his feet, he looked at the ground and saw a Bulbasaur and a Chikorita being held by a Snorlax. Ash was right behind them and was staring at Myotismon.

"HAAAAAAA!!!" Goku yelled as he used his most powerful attack.

"NOOOO!!!" Myotismon yelled right before being hit by Goku's attack. His body was completely destroyed inside the huge beam.

"And it's over!!!" Sora yelled.

"Go Yellow Team!" Bulma said.

"The crowd goes wild!!!"

"What crowd?"

"Just work with me here."

"Um.. OK This has been a great match."

"Yeah.. something spectacular."

"Well I have to get going. I have to give them their well earned badge."

"OK Bulma, it's been a pleasure working with you."

"Same here! Bye Biyomon!"

Biyomon smiled at Bulma.

The Yellow team were all just outside the stadium, they had just eaten their senzu beams.

"Wow!" Izzy said "Where can I get these? I have never felt anything like this before."

Ash said "Yeah, the pain just disappeared. It feels real good."

"Pika!!"

"Hey Ash? Where did you get that giant Pokemon? I didn't see it before."

"You mean Snorlax? I got him at the pokemon center, traded my Heracross for it."

"Ah..."

"By, the way, here's your badge!" Bulma said while giving Goku the badge.

"Hehe. Thanks Bulma!"

"Even though we won, we have to work on a better battle strategy for next time." Freya said "I believe we were a bit reckless in there."

"Well, guess most of us are used to working alone. We hadn't put any thought to it." Ryoga said.

Just then they all noticed that Izzy had sat on the ground indian style and had his laptop on his knees.

Goku: "What is it Izzy?"

Izzy: "Well the Red Team has started moving at an incredible speed!"

Tentomon: "Are they still behind the blue team?"

Izzy: "Yeah, and it will probably take them about 4 or 5 minutes to reach them."

Ash: "What are we going to do?"

Freya: "Well, we can't do anything about it now. We still have our own jewel to get back."

Ryoga: "But what if they are still close by the time we get our Ruby back?"

Goku: "Maybe we can go have a look."

Izzy: "Well, we have to go there anyway. Remember the nuts?"

Ash: "Oh yeah! Wait! Where did we leave them?"

Freya: "Don't you remember? We left them in the pokemon center."

Ash: "Oh yeah, I forgot."

Bulma: "Well I don't have to be here and to be honest I want to see what my son is doing. So I'm going to leave you guys, good-bye and good luck!" she left.

Izzy: "Her son?"

Goku: "She is Trunks' mother."

Izzy: "Ahhh!"Ryoga: "Hey guys! Shouldn't we start looking for Cologne?"

Goku: "Yeah!

Sora was a few feet away from the Yellow Team, she saw as they left the stadium in search of Cologne. "Well it seems that the yellow team has had a real busy day, which is not over. Well it seems that something is going on with the Red and Blue Teams so I won't delay you and take you with Brock and Minako. See ya!"

Biyomon got in camera view before fade out. "Ba-bye!"

Minako. and Brock were just outside the jungle, at the distance a large flying object could be seen.

Brock said "It's a bird! No, it's a plane! No, it's Greymon!"

"And it's not Metalgreymon! It's regular old Greymon. How can he fly? Well it seems he is receiving help."

"For some reason the Red Team decided to hurry up and try to catch up with the Blue Team."

"What will the Blue Team do about it? Well, let's watch."

"Maybe you and I can spend a romantic evening together."

"Then again.. maybe not."

"Aww..."

Greymon was flying through the air, actually it was Trunks turned super saiyan who was flying and carrying him on his back. Everyone else was riding on top of Greymon.

Greymon said "Tai! Why couldn't I just turn into Metalgreymon and fly myself? This is making me nervous."

"Sorry my friend, but Trunks flies much faster. And besides, even when the power of the badge wears off he still is a powerful fighter. You would go back to being Agumon and be too weak to fight."

"Are you saying I'm useless as Agumon?"

"Don't take it wrong! I said you would be weak from the transformation, not because you were Agumon."

"Ahh..."

Mako yelled at Trunks "Hey Trunks! How come you're now so sure that we're heading towards the Blue Team?"

Trunks yelled back "I felt Goku's energy where the other team was. He must have raised his power to fight."

"We must have some sort of plan. Or else we might get tricked like last time." Haruka said.

"I wouldn't worry about that." Tai said "We're going to hit them before they know it. We'll get not only our emerald back, but we'll take their diamond as well."

"And then we invite them to dinner." Quina said.

"Dinner?" Mako asked.

"Is only good manners."

The Blue Team was slowly advancing through the jungle, Gatomon was using her claws to rip through the many plants that were blocking their way.

"Just have to stay away from them she says." Ranma said "We have all the time in the world now."

"How was I suppose we would end up in this jungle?" Beruche said.

"It's no use!" Kari said "They are coming here fast! They'll be here any minute now."

"What are we going to do?" Vivi asked. "I'm scared!"

"Yeah, I'm kinda scared too." Mimi said.

"I come on! I thought of something before, didn't I?" Beruche said.

"OK miss scheming. Think of something something." Ranma said mockingly.

"Um... we need to... um... well the thing is that... we must stop them the way we did when we took their emerald."

"And how are we going to do that?"

"Um.. we only need to stop one, the other can't follow us because they would not be able to leave on of their teammates behind. It's against the rules."

"What if I turn one of them into stone?" Vivi asked.

"You can do that? That would be perfect!"

The Red Team had almost arrived at the Blue Team's location. The were flying over the jungle.

"How are we supposed to find them in this thick jungle. I can't see a thing?" Mako said.

"Don't worry." Tai said "We can pin point their location with my digivice."

"Looks like we won't have too." Haruka said.

The Blue Team was standing in a clearing among the trees, they still had that Ponyta with them.

"I don't like it, they are plotting something."

"Yeah.. but I bet whatever it is that black mage plays an important role in it." Tai said.

Trunks yelled "I was thinking the same thing. Hey Greymon!"

"Yes Trunks?"

"I'm sorry."

"Sorry for what?"

"Everyone hold on tight!" Trunks let go of Greymon and flew directly at the Blue Team. Greymon landed on his feet but was a bit stunned, just like the rest of the Red Team.

Trunks flew over the Blue Team taking Vivi with him.

"Damn!" Beruche said.

Gatomon saw how the rest of the Red Team was getting off Greymon"Looks like we have no choice but to take them. Are you all right with that Kari?"

Kari nodded.

Gatomon charged at the Greymon, she leaped into the air and hit Greymon in the gut with a flying a kick. Greymon fell on some trees.

Haruka said "Hey Tai! How come their little digimon just knocked your big digimon off his feet?"

Tai had a sweatdrop. "Don't let Gatomon's size confuse you. She's a champion level just like Greymon."

"That's odd." Mako said.

They saw that the rest of the Blue Team charging at them. Except for Ponyta who went into hiding.

"I help!" Quina said "Aqua Breath!" s/he attacked with his/her water type attack and knocked them away.

Ranma had transformed to his female form.

"Hey what gives?" Tai said.

"Ack!" Ranma-chan said. She got up quickly and charged again."

"Uranus Planet Power! Make up!" Sailor Uranus took on Ranma-chan. Even though she was a tough fighter she was no match for the martial arts expert. And even though Ranma was actually a male she did not hold back against Uranus.

"Jupiter Crystal Power! Mako up!" Sailor Jupiter went to help Ranma-chan.

"Palmon digivolves to... Togemon!" Togemon stood in front of Jupiter.

After receiving many hits Uranus decided she would have little chance against Ranma-chan in a hand to hand battle. She needed to use her powers "World Shaking!"

Ranma did a somersault over Haruka's attack and landed a flying kick.

"Quina!" Tai yelled "Do something!"

"What should I do?"

"How about freeze?" Beruche said taking them by surprise. She shot an ice beam and froze Tai and Quina all the way to their necks, or in the case of Quina someplace below his/her face.

Greymon got up and was ready to attack Gatomon "Nova..."

"Hey Greymon!" Gatomon yelled "Do you think it's a smart idea to use a fire attack in a place like this?"

Greymon stopped his attack and attacked Gatomon with his tail instead.

Gatomon skillfully jumped over Greymon's tail.

Trunks let go of Vivi a short yet considerable distance away from the rest of the teams. "You should cause no trouble here." Trunks said "Be sure to head back towards your team once we're done with them."

Vivi had his head down "OK"

Trunks flew back toward towards his team.

A group of sneaky characters were watching the battle from a distance.

"What do you suppose they are fighting for?" James said.

"Who cares?" Jessie said "They aren't watching over Ponyta"

They heard Uranus yell "Give us back our emerald!"

Ranma-chan then yelled back "You have to take it from us! And you won't take that or our diamond!"

Jessie said "Emerald?"

James said "Diamond?"

Meowth got excited "Who cares about a Ponyta when we can have a couple of precious jewels!?"

Togemon launched a punch at Sailor Jupiter, she was barely able to dodge.

"Sparkling Wide Pressure!" Jupiter attacked Togemon.

Togemon was too large and slow to avoid Jupiter's attack. She was hit and stunned by the electricity.

Ranma-chan was beating Uranus. She was about to knock her out when she received a blow on the back. She was sent flying towards where Quina and Tai where; she crashed on them and broke the ice.

"Ranma!" Beruche yelled. She raised her arm ready to attack.

"Sparkling Wide Pressure!" Jupiter attacked Beruche and hit her right on the hand, some blood flew out.

"OW!!!" Beruche yelled in pain. "I can't believe you did it again! Man that hurts!!"

Trunks super saiyan time ran out and he became regular Trunks.

Greymon was having a hard time trying to hit Gatomon, but he was defending himself well. Gatomon could not approach him without risking being hit.

Kari yelled "Gatomon! Come here!" she went to hide into the jungle.

Gatomon followed Kari, they both disappeared into the jungle.

Greymon was not able to follow them.

Vivi was walking back to where his team was. "Boy, that was scary. I hope the guys are all right."

Suddenly Vivi fell into a hole. He got off his back and tried to brush the dust off his clothes. He heard a laughter above him, he looked up and saw Team Rocket.

Jessie said "Prepare for trouble!"

James said "And make it double."

"To protect the world from devastation."

"To unite all people within our nation."

"To denounce the evils of truth and love."

"To extend our reach to the stars above."

"Jessie!"

"James."

"Team rocket blasts off at the speed of light."

"Surrender now or prepare to fight."

Meowth said "Meowth! That's right."

Vivi yelled "Could you help me? I seem to have fallen into this hole."

Jessie yelled "You idiot! Who do you think made the hole?"

"Why did you do such a thing?"

"We know you have a jewel with you. We want it to take it from you."

"You guys aren't participating in the challenge. Why do you want it?"

James said "Hey! Who cares about a contest. You know how much those things are worth?"

"But I shouldn't give it to you."

"It's not like we are asking." Meowth said.

"Um... what was I supposed to say at times like this?" Vivi thought for a moment. "Oh yeah! Get off me you scumbag!"

Team Rocket remained silent for a while, then they started laughing.

Vivi was confused "Was that supposed to happen?"

Jessie looked down the hole and yelled "Now give us the jewels!"

A while later the Red Team had come out victorious. Beruche, Ranma-chan, Mimi and Palmon were tied up to a tree, they were in a sitting position.

"Where's Kari?" Tai asked.

"I'm sorry Tai." Agumon said. "She and Gatomon got away."

"Who cares." Uranus said "They can't be far."

Mako was curious "What about the black mage? What did you do with him Trunks?"

"I left him alone not far away from here. I told him to come back in a while."

"And what makes you think he'll obey you?" Haruka asked.

"He's a shy little guy. He'll do it."

Tai faced the Blue Team. "Now give us our emerald."

Beruche said "Ha! You can't make us."

"That's right!" Ranma yelled.

"We'll have no choice." Haruka said "Let's strip search them."

Ranma-chan smiled "You won't find..."

Beruche and Mimi yelled at the same time "Mimi/I has/have it! It's beneath her/my hat!"

Ranma-chan had a sweatdrop. "Boy.. you two are REAL brave."

"Oh shut up!" Beruche said.

Tai took Mimi's hat and saw that a little pouch was on it. He looked inside and found a diamond "Um.. this isn't our jewel, but this is good too."

"Looks like will have to strip search them after all." Haruka said smiling.

Beruche and Mimi yelled at the same time "Vivi has it!"

"Ugh... how annoying." Makoto said.

"Let's wait for him to arrive then." Trunks said.

"I go make dinner." Quina said.

The Red Team yelled in unison "Off s/he goes again!"

Vivi came out of the hole with the help of Arbok. "Um... thanks."

"Thank us by giving us the jewel." Jessie yelled.

Just then they heard a voice behind them. "HEY! What are you doing?" They turned around and saw it was Kari, Gatomon was with her.

"Well, looks who's here." James said "Luckily we made a second trap."

Just then a net fell on Kari and Gatomon, but Gatomon just cut it down with her claws.

James laughed "Luckily we made a third trap."

Suddenly a boulder fell behind Kari and Gatomon.

"Luckily we have a fourth trap."

Jessie said "No we don't."

James continued to laugh "Then we're doomed! Hahaha!"

Jessie grabbed James' shoulders and started to shake him "Stop laughing! Meowth do something."

Meowth was nowhere to be found.

"What's gotten into that cat?"

"Vivi!" Kari yelled "Do some spell!"

Vivi nodded. "OK Um... thundara." A bolt of lighting hit Jessie and James and shocked them. Vivi took the opportunity to run towards Kari.

Kari was surprised when she saw how quickly TR recuperated.

James continued to laugh "Haha, we are used to electricity. We are almost immune."

Jessie laughed as well "You won't stop us with that."

Vivi said "Um.. Firaga."

The fire explosion sent TR flying. In the air Jessie yelled "Team rocket is blasting off again."

Vivi told Kari what happened to them and Kari told Vivi what had happened to the team.

"What are we going to do?" Vivi said "I have to go back or Trunks will come back for me."

"We are at a disadvantage Kari." Gatomon said "We better give up."

Kari thought for a moment. "It doesn't feel right. We have to at least try something."

Vivi thought out loud "What would Zidane do at a time like this?"

"Who's Zidane?" Gatomon asked.

"A very special friend." Vivi said "I know what he would do. He would say 'Don't worry about a thing! I can take are of it' even if he didn't have an idea of what to do. He would always figure out something at the last second."

A sound came from behind them "Poneee!"

Kari smiled "Ponyta! I thought you'd ran off."

"Ponee."

"I think I got an idea."

Everyone was still waiting for Vivi at the same spot.

Beruche was uncomfortable. "Can't you at least loosen the rope? It's too rough on my skin."

Haruka smiled "You wish."

Mako was getting tired of waiting. "That's it, I'm going to look for that guy."

Just then Quina arrived holding plenty of snakes. "I have returned, brought dinner."

Mimi turned blue "We aren't going to eat the snakes are we?"

Quina said "Yes, plenty of snakes. Enough for everybody, even hostages."

"NO NO NO! I don't want to eat snakes."

"You no like snakes?"

"I have never eaten and never will eat a yucky snake."

"I no understand, how you know you not like if you not taste?"

"I don't want to taste them. I would rather die!"

"You not wise, how you learn if you no try?"

Trunks was close to Ranma-chan, she whispered to him. "How can you stand Quina in your team?"

Trunks responded "Funny, I was thinking the same thing about Mimi."

Suddenly they all heard a voice in the distance "Everyone stay where you are!" they turned around and saw Kari and Vivi. They were standing with their backs to each other.

Kari: "Prepare for trouble!"

Vivi: "And make it double!"

"To unite small people within our nation!"

"To denounce the evils of those big and tall!"

"To stand with pride above them all."

"Kari!"

"Vivi!"

"Team Chibi blasts off at the speed of light!"

"Surrender now or face our might!"

Gatomon leaped in front of them "That's right!"

Everyone had a sweatdrop.

Tai said "Well... at least they aren't going to punish us in the name of the moon."

Mako yelled "Hey!"

What nobody noticed that while Kari, Vivi and Gatomon were doing their motto Ponyta had gotten close to the Blue Team and had used his fire to slightly burn the ropes.

Vivi yelled "Bio!"

Trunks was attacked with a virus attack, but he resisted the blow.

"World Sha..." Sailor Uranus was about to attack but Tai got in the way.

"What do you think you're doing!? That's my sister!"

Agumon yelled "Tai! Watch out!"

Gatomon leaped at Tai, this time not only knocking off his digivice but grabbing it as well.

Jupiter was ready attack Gatomon "Sparkling wide..." but suddenly an ice shard hit her hand. "OW!!"

Beruche cheered "Haha! Finally gotcha back for that one!"

The Red Team noticed the rest of the Blue Team was now free. Trunks charged at Ranma-chan.

Ranma-chan and Trunks started exchanging punches. Trunks' saiyan nature made him physically stronger, but Ranma-chan's higher level of training more than made up for it. Not only that but Trunks started moving slower and was becoming weaker as time passed.

Quina said "This no good, must do something. I know! Twister!"

A large tornado formed in the area. Mimi was raised into the air. She would have been blown away had it not been for Palmon who grabbed her with her Poison Ivy on one hand and holding a tree with the other. Beruche and Gatomon were both lifted into the air and were about to be blown away.

Ranma-chan noticed Trunks was barely standing and decided to leave him alone. She went into the tornado, she spun around for a moment before she was able to grab Beruche's hand.

"Ranma! Don't let go!"

"Don't worry, I won't!"

Sailor Uranus was able to grab Kari and was holding her.

"Gatomon!" Kari yelled "Vivi! Please do something!"

"Um.. OK"

Vivi didn't notice Agumon coming close "Pepper Breath!" his attacked stunned Vivi.

Kari saw her partner spin around the tornado. Ranma-chan was able to pull herself and Beruche outside. Gatomon was about to be blown away.

Suddenly something quickly passed in front of Quina making him/her lose his/her concentration.

The tornado disappeared and Gatomon fell to the ground.

Everyone looked at Quina and saw a rose pinned to the ground at his/her feet.

"No! Can it be?" Jupiter said.

"The wind blows in a certain direction." A voice said from the top of a tree.

Everyone looked up and saw Tuxedo Meowth.

"What is this about?" Uranus said.

"Ahem.. I'm Tuxedo Meowth! And I don't like interruptions. Ahem..the wind blows in a certain direction. If you try to go against it you'll end up with a lot of dirt in your face. I cannot not stand still when there are those who blow south, when the wind justice is blowing west. Do your best Gatomon." He then disappeared into the jungle.

Agumon was confused "What did he try to say Tai?"

"I don't have a clue Agumon." Tai said "Hey! My digivice!"

Gatomon saw Tai running towards her, she stood up and faced him.

"Give me back my digivice Gatomon!"

"You think I was worried about holding your digivice while spinning in a tornado?"

"You mean!? NO!!!"

Beruche and Ranma-chan stood in front of Uranus. Beruche said "Trunks has been affected by Vivi's poison attack, and your digimon cannot digivolve. Now we have the advantage! Give us back our diamond!"

Uranus had no choice, she let go of Kari.

Kari ran towards Gatomon. "Are you all right?"

Gatomon said "Yeah, I'm fine Kari."

Tai and Agumon approached Quina "Can't you do something?"

Quina said "What you want me to do?"

"I don't know! Anything!"

"OK! Angel's Kiss!"

Suddenly Trunks recovered from the poison.

Ranma-chan saw this "Vivi! Do something!"

"Um.. OK! Break!" Vivi attacked Trunks with a stone spell, but Trunks was quick to react and got out of the way. The spell hit Mimi instead, she was turned to stone.

"Oops.."

Uranus said "Now we're even again."

"Mimi?" Palmon said "Answer me Mimi!"

Jupiter yelled "Let's finish this!"

"Wait!" Tai yelled.

Everyone turned around and looked at Tai, he pointed at a tree. There was a ferrow on at and had Tai's digivice on his beak. It suddenly started to fly away.

"I can't let that thing fly away with my digivice! We have to follow it!" Tai and Agumon started to chase after the Ferrow.

"Damn!" Uranus yelled "We have no choice!"

The Red Team followed Tai, Quina was the last to leave. "Don't leave Quina behind!"

Ranma-chan said "Come on! They still have our diamond!" She started running but saw the rest of the team wasn't following her. "What is it?"

Beruche said "We can't leave Mimi here!"

"Oh yeah! The rule that says we can't split up."

"Forget the stupid rule! She's our friend! We have to help her!"

Vivi looked at the ground "I'm sorry."

"It's not your fault." Kari said.

Palmon was ready to cry. "Will Mimi ever be the same again?"

Vivi said "Sure, we just need some soft or a white mage."

"So what are we going to do now?" Ranma-chan asked.

"Guess we have no choice but to carry her." Beruche said "I'll grab the head and you grab her feet. Gatomon, you hold her behind."

"Just don't drop her." Vivi said

Even between the 3 of them they had trouble carrying Mimi, she was really heavy.

Palmon kept talking to Mimi "Don't worry Mimi! Will help you! I swear!"

Tai saw the ferrow resting on a tree. He signaled his team mates.

"Did you find him Tai?" Trunks asked.

"Shh.. Yeah, he's up there."

Everyone saw the ferrow resting.

"I'll hit it with some electricity." Jupiter said "That will make him drop the digivice."

"Just do it carefully" Haruka said "We don't want him to get away."

"OK." Jupiter was ready to hit the ferrow.

Suddenly a voice yelled "Get away from here kupo!"

The ferrow flew away.

"Hey!" yelled Jupiter "Who said that!?"

Mukop ran towards Jupiter "I did kupo."

"Why did you do it?"

"They are nasty birds, leave unwanted presents kupo."

The rest of the team came out of hiding.

Tai said "Well that bird has my digivice! We have to get it back at all costs."

"Sorry kupo, I didn't know."

"Now what?" Trunks said.

"Ferrows rarely come here kupo, usually they are in New Alexandria. Don't know why kupo, more pollution there."

"Where's New Alexandria?" Uranus asked.

"South from here kupo."

"Great!" Tai said sarcastically"That's where the Yellow Team is, south of here."

"But you said it yourself Tai, we need to get it back at all costs." Trunks said.

"Well, at least we aren't empty handed. We still have the diamond." Jupiter said

"Let's hope we don't lose it to the Yellow Team." Uranus said.

"Can we cook ferrow after we catch it?" Quina said.

The Blue Team actually made it to the temple Ukyo had talked about. It was starting to get dark.

"Finally! Beruche said "My back hurts."

Kari said "I didn't think we would make it today."

"Let's go in." Vivi said.

"Do we have to face a guardian now?" Palmon said "We have to help Mimi."

"I agree with Palmon." Beruche said. "But maybe someone inside can help us."

"Yeah! Let's try it." Kari said.

"Well, let's go have a look." Ranma-chan said.

"Very well..." Beruche said.

The Blue Team made their way to the entrance of the temple. Before they could announce they arrival they were greeted by Eiko.

"Eiko!" Vivi said.

"Hey Vivi! So you finally made it here huh."

"Do you know her Vivi?" Kari asked.

"Sure! She's a friend of mine!"

Eiko smiled "I taught him not to be such a crybaby."

Ranma-chan said "Well... you could have done a slightly better job."

"Ranma!" Kari yelled "Vivi is all right!"

"Fine"

Vivi said "We're in luck! Eiko is a caller and knows white magic."

Beruche said "Really? Can you help our friend?"

Eiko looked at the statue of Mimi "Vivi! This looks like your doing."

"It was an accident."

"OK, but you better be more careful next time. Esuna!"

Mimi turned back to normal.

Palmon hugged Mimi "Mimi!"

"Thanks! It was awful!" Mimi said "Don't you ever do that again Vivi!"

"Sorry."

"Well, at least it's over now." Ranma-chan said.

"Yeah.. But thanks to this we weren't able to get back our diamond." Beruche said.

"Well, this is your fault for being so overconfident."

"My fault? If it wasn't for me we wouldn't have the emerald!"

"And if it wasn't for you we would still have our diamond!"

"Why do you have to be like that!"

"Because I'm tired of your irresponsibility!"

"What? You wouldn't be able to handle this team if it wasn't for me!"

"I bet I can't handle this team because of you!"

Eiko asked Kari and Mimi "Do they do this often?"

Kari answered "Yeah, I'd wish they would stop."

Eiko said "They must really like each other."

Mimi said "Um.. sure."

Ranma and Beruche were still arguing in the background.

"It's always like that. They are like sisters, I have experience in this."

"Experience?" Kari asked "You look younger than me."

"And by the way." Gatomon said "Ranma is actually a man."

Eiko looked at Ranma-chan "Really? A man with breasts?"

Palmon said "Ranma is a man that digivolves into a woman."

Vivi said "No, men don't digivolve into women."

"Why not?" Mimi said "It's an obvious improvement."

The girls giggled.

"But actually, Ranma is cursed and turns into a woman when wet" Kari said.

"Weird!" Eiko said "But in that case they like each other more that just sisters."
