Brock was riding Onix, the sun was rising and the Red team's camp could be seen. "Good morning and welcome to the ultimate challenge! The Red team decided to camp outside the cave they were told to find. Is there a badge inside? If you're a fan of the Red Team you probably hope so, and so do they. Let's watch."

"Wake up!" Haruka yelled into the boys tent.

The tent collapsed again.

Trunks' head peeked out. "Man.. I wish you wouldn't do that."

"I already told you to wake up earlier. Hey! Aren't Tai and Agumon with you?"

"It appears that no. He must have taken your advice."

"At least someone did."

Mako was getting ready, she saw Tai and Agumon sitting next to a tree. Tai was looking at his digivice.

"Hey Tai! What's up?"

Tai looked a bit concerned. "My digivice can pinpoint the location of another chosen child. And since last night it has shown one close."

Mako got worried. "And have they gotten close?"

"Um, no. They haven't moved since last night."

"We should talk about this with the others."

Tai, Agumon and Mako went to talk to the rest of the team.

Trunks: "So another team is close? Which one?"

Tai: "I don't know, the digivice doesn't specify which."

Haruka: "Those other kids have a device like yours no? Can they see you?"

Tai: "Yeah, they can."

Mako: "So they know we're here."

Tai: "But they don't know what team we are."

Trunks: "They may try to go for our jewel. To them it might not matter what team we are."

Haruka: "We should try to go for theirs."

Agumon: "What about the cave?"

Haruka: "I haven't heard one noise comming out of it. Maybe it was a mistake on behalf of that woodsman."

Tai: "I still want to check it out. And what if they don't want to go for our jewel now?"

Trunks: "That's not important. What's important is what we do to take theirs."

Haruka: "The fact that we can both see our locations complicates it."

Tai: "Man!! I can't believe this!"

Mako: "What?"

Tai: "They started moving, and they are heading our way."

Haruka: "I knew it."

Quina: "This complicates things, now I have to make larger breakfast."

Agumon: "So what are we going to do?"

Trunks: "I saw we go see them as well. And let them know we are ready to face them if necesary."

Tai: "This is making me nervous."

Haruka: "Guess we have no other choice."

The Red team continued down the path for a while. Tai kept checking the digivice and saw that the other team was heading their way.

"How long until we bump into each other?" asked Haruka.

"About fifteen minutes."

"Better get ready. Uranus planet power, make up!"

"Yeah, you're right." Mako said. "Jupiter crystal power, make up!"

"I wish you wouldn't do that. Now they'll think we are ready for a fight." Trunks said.

"We are." Haruka responded.

About ten minutes later they met a girl on the road, she had long brown hair and esmerald green eyes, she had her hair in a ponytail and wore a pink ribbon on it. She wore a pink dress with a red vest over it, and she had large brown boots on her feet. She was carrying a basket of flowers.

She smiled at the yellow team "Would you like a flower? It's only 50 cents."

Trunks frowend at the girl "We're sorry, we're pretty busy at the moment."

"I understand, nobody buys flowers these days."

"Um... ok. Let me see if I have any change."

"I can't believe he's doing this." Haruka said.

"Geesh.. don't you have a heart?" Tai said.

"Flowers sometimes taste good." Quina said.

"How far are they?" asked Mako.

"They are there.." Tai didn't even have to look at the digivice. Mimi, Palmon, Kari, Gatomon and ponyta were standing about 20 feet away from them. Mimi and Kari were carrying a sack each.

"Tai!" Kari yelled.

All the Red team got ready, they noticed the whole team was not there.

"Where are the others!?" Mako yelled.

"We're here!" They heard a voice behind them. They turned around and saw Beruche and Vivi standing behind them.

"They sorrounded us!" Haruka yelled.

"You won't get our jewel!" Tai yelled.

Vivi chanted a few magic words, he put his hands in front of his body and moved them in a way that it looked like he was grabbing something.

"Got it?" Beruche asked.

"Yep." Vivi said.

There was a moment of silence, but then Haruka and Mako charged at Beruche and Vivi.

Trunks yelled "Wait! They don't have..."

The flower girl crouched down and used her forearm to hit the back of Trunk's knees, he fell down and she skillfuly pulled his left tennis shoe off.

Before Tai could react Palmon had grabbed Agumon with her vine fingers and threw him into a nearby bush, Gatomon leaped at Tai and with a quick swipe knocked the digivice off his hand. Kari and Mimi rode ponyta past them, throwing the sacks at Quina. They contained plenty of oranges on which he/she started feasting on.

Haruka and Mako hesitated when they realized what was going on.

"Vivi, now!" Beruche yelled.

"SLOW!!"

Haruka and Mako's movements became real slow, they could only watch as the flower girl, ponyta and the digimon ran past them. Trunks got up and charged at the blue team , but Beruche used her powers to freeze Trunks' legs.

The flower girl gave the tennis shoe to Beruche. She took the Esmerald out of it and threw it back at Trunks. She threw a kiss good-bye and the whole team ran away.

Tai had gotten Agumon but he could not chase the Blue Team the way his team mates were. He punched the ground in anger. "DAMN!!!!"

The blue team ran for half an hour. They ran until the other team didn't appear on the girls' digivice, and then they changed direction and walked for a while until they were sure they couldn't be followed. The team had ended in an arid plain, but not enough to be called a dessert. Then they stopped to rest.

"Uff.. uff.. boy, I have never runned like that in my life." Vivi said.

"Uff.. uff.. but we did it!!" Beruche yelled with joy.

The flower girl took off the large wig and the contact lenses, she was in reality Ranma-chan. "It's a good thing for you. I would have hated wearing a dress for nothing."

"Don't complain." Mimi said. "Pink looks good on you."

"You think pink looks good on anybody." Kari said.

Mimi stuck out her tongue mischievoulsy.

"I don't know about you guys, but I feel like we've already won this!" Beruche said.

"Don't celebrate yet! We still need to gather 6 badges, and the other teams may try to take our jewels." Ranma-chan said.

"Come on! As long as we have those digivices we'll know when they're getting close. And we can avoid them easily."

"Still, we have to be extra carful now."

"Um... I'd like to congratulate Beruche, she realy came up with a wonderful plan." Vivi said, he then started clapping.

Ther rest of the team started clapping as well, even Ranma-chan.

"Why thank you!"

"How did you know it was the Red team?" Gatomon asked.

"I didn't, I had two plans. They were similar, but the oranges would have had another purpose with the Yellow team."

"But how did you know the esmerald was in the tennis shoe?" Palmon asked Ranma-chan.

"Well, that was part of the plan. When Vivi made the team think he took the jewel I examined the whole team. When you practice martial arts as strictly as I do you learn to notice the slightest movements in other people. Trunks slightly moved his foot to check if the esmerald was still there."

"Wow..."

"Kari? How did you feel about doing this to your brother?" Mimi asked.

"Well, I don't feel bad at all. It's only a game." Kari smiled.

"That's the spirit." Beruche said.

"Well, we've rested enough. Let's keep moving so the other team can't catch up with us." Ranma-chan said.

"Well the slow spell takes quite a while to wear off." Vivi said.

"But Ranma is right." Beruche said "We need to get as far away as possible.

The blue team started walking again.

The Red team was still on the same spot. Trunks' legs were quickly unfrozen with the help of Agumon, and Quina didn't take long to finish the oranges. But the slow spell had taken a lot of time to wear off.

The whole team was silent, everybody was upset about what happened. Well, almost everybody. "Why you quiet? You hungry? I make breakfast."

"SHUT UP!!" Haruka yelled "You didn't help one bit!"

"Why you angry? Anger is not good, makes soul hungry."

"Can you think of anything else but food?"

"I study way of gourmand, I learn of world through tastes."

"Why you..."

"Quit it Haruka!" Trunks said. "Quina has it's weaknesses and so do you. Had you and Mako not responded so prematurely maybe we'd still have our jewel."

Haruka became silent.

"We were all careless, we only cared about facing them and they had everything set up." Tai said.

"Tai!" Agumon said.

"And we played into it perfectly, we made it too easy for them."

Mako was thoughtful "I guess you're right, all of us are to be blamed for what happened. We didn't give the whole situation enough thought, and obviously they did."

"So what are you saying?" Haruka said. "We're a lousy team?"

Everybody stood silent for a while.

Quina spoke "In my village we have saying. If food taste bad the ingredients are not necesarily bad, maybe not cooked right. Always give ingredients second chance, but change recipe."

Tai thought of a moment. "I think I understand what you're saying. We may have acted lousy, but we're not necesary a lousy team. We just need to work things differently."

"I don't know." Trunks said "I don't have the same enthusiasm now."

"Me neither." Mako said.

"Tai! You know I'll always follow you. You can count on me!" Agumon said.

"Hey come on you guys!" Tai said. "So we made a really bad mistake, so what? It's still early in the game and we have time to take our jewel back, and maybe take their's at the same time. I'm still willing to give it all I got!"

"Me too." Agumon said

"I no give up." Quina said.

Haruka, Mako and Trunks were silent.

"I know I haven't been the best captain, and I'm sorry. I promise to do better, I guess I was so used to let Izzy do the thinking that I didn't bother to do it much. But now Izzy is not here, we're doing something different now and I'm with different people. It was foolish for me to think I could do the same things."

Mako smiled. "Guess you're right. At this moment there is no Sailor Moon to depend on, it's only us. And I'd feel really bad if I went back home not only as a loser, but as someone who gave up early. If I'm going to lose this at least I want to know I gave it my best shot."

Trunks said. "Well, when you put it that way. My other future self got beat up by the androids dozens of times before he was finally able to defeat them. If I give up now it'll just prove that he really is better than me. Guess I'm still in."

Everyone looked at Haruka "Don't make me say corny things like that. I feel the same way you guys do."

"Alright, we're back on track!" Tai said "Now let's think of a way to get our jewel back."

Trunks thought for a moment. "Will you lend me the map?"

"Sure." Tai said.

Trunks opened the map and examine it. "Well, thanks to Tai's digivice we all know the Blue Team went in this direction, so they must be somewhere in this area."

"But they'll keep on moving" Haruka said.

"Right! But if consider the digivice reach and we take this path" He moved his finger along a certain part of the map. "They should appear on Tai's digivice at some point."

"And then what?" Mako said.

"Well, they'll also see us at that moment so they'll try to get away. We need to get there as quick as possible. I say you let me use the badge to let me turn super saiyan. I'll be able to fly real fast and have the strength to carry all of you. We could easily reach the blue team in 1 or 2 minutes."

"But what would we do then?"

"Well, this the way I see it. They obviously make better plans we do, that's their advantage. Let's look at our advantage, I say overall we're stronger than the blue team. So we should take the jewel by force, if we're quick and strike with force they won't even have time to react."

"Well, I suppose it's worth a shot." Haruka said.

"But wait!" Tai said "We only have one badge, and we need to use it on Trunks to let him become super saiyan, if the battle lasts longer than we expect and they use their badge to let their digimon become perfect we could be in trouble, they may even have more badges. We would risk using the badge for nothing."

"So what do you recomend?"

"We need to get more badges before doing this, at least one more. Why don't we go into the cave we were going to earlier? It's in the path and there might be a badge there."

"I agree." Mako said "Besides, we don't want to waste all our time trying to recover the jewel and not get any badges."

"I suppose you're right. Let's go to the cave.

It took the Red team an hour to go back to the cave. They turned on their flash lights and walked right in. The cave was pretty much straight foward, but quite long. After another half an hour of walking they saw a light. They continued walking and arrived at what appeared to be an arena inside the mountain. Everything was well lit and there was a small house next to it.
The door opened and out came non other than Tracy from pokemon. "Hello, my name is Tracy, I'm glad that finaly someone got here."

Tai went to shake Tracy's hand. "Hi! My name is Tai and I'm captain of the Red Team. What are you doing here?"

"Well, I'm a pokemon observer, and I've also been placed here to witness your battle with the guardian."

"A guardian?" Mako said

"Yep. And a tough one too."

"Are we going to have the fight now?" Haruka asked.

"If you want too, if you want I can give you something to eat first."

"Yes yes yes, I so hungry!" Quina said.

"I suppose it would be better." Trunks said "After all we need all the energy we can get."

"Ok, give me a couple of minutes."

Meanwhile...

There was a large bulding in a the middle of a large city near the center of the island. Near the top there was a large office in which a couple of mysterious characters were talking.

"What if they get involved?"

"We don't want them to, but we feel it will innevitable. They'll do what they feel must be done, you just make sure you complete your mission."

"What about the weapons?"

"They can't use them yet, if they are not careful they'll end up destroying themselves."

"Are they really that powerful?"

"Yes."

"Alright then, we won't fail."

Back to the Red team...

The Red team was in position. All the members were side by side ready for the battle.

Tai thought 'We better win this. If we lose we won't be able to recover from another blow like that.'

Trunks said. "Well guys, let's give it our all."

"You can count on me Tai!" Agumon said.

Suddenly a door started to open, the guardian stepped out. It was the android known as Cell, or to be more specific Perfect Cell.

"Ah.. so the challengers finally arrive. I'm pleased to see that Trunks is here."

"I just want you to know that I'm not the same Trunks you faced in the past."

"I'm well aware of that, but frankly I don't care. As long as the fight is intense I'll take on anyone."

"Well, what are we waiting for then." Haruka said.

"Let's do it!" Tai yelled

"Agumon digivolves to... Greymon!"

"Bring it on!" Cell yelled.

Trunks was a first to charge at Cell, he threw many punches but all were being blocked by Cell.

"World Shaking!!" Uranus attacked with might. Trunks jumped out of the way and let the attack hit Cell. He knocked it out of the way but Trunks got behind him. Trunks kicked Cell sending him flying.

Greymon ducked his head and hit Cell with it, he then threw him upward.

Quina yelled "Freeze!"

Cell turned into an ice statue.

"Sparkling Wide Preasure!" Jupiter attacked with a ball of electricity. It hit Cell right on the mark and he exploded into pieces.

"Right on!" Tai said.

"That was too easy." Haruka said.

"It's not over yet." Trunks said "He has the ability to reconstruct himself."

As soon as Trunks spoke Cell's head started to defrost and suddenly a new torso grew from his neck, arms and legs soon followed. He stood casualy as if nothing had happened.

"Hahahaha! Your powers are great! This is going to be an interesting battle.

"World Shanking!" Haruka attacked Cell. He avoided the attack and charged at Haruka. He hit her and sent her flying against a wall.

Trunks went to fight Cell and started throwing punches again, and once again Cell was blocking all of them.

"Nova Blast!!" Greymon yelled, he opened his mouth and sent a large fireball at Cell. Trunks got out of the way again but this time Cell bat the fireball in Trunks direction.

"Sparking wide presure!" Jupiter's attack destroyed the fireball.

Not wasting any minute Trunks fired a large beam of energy at Cell.

"Kamehameha!!!" Cell yelled. His attack overcame Trunks' and hit him. He was sent flying to the ground.

Haruka and Mako charged at Cell together. He had no trouble blocking all of their punches and kicks. He flew above them and was ready to attack from the air.

"Nova Blast!" Greymon's attack took Cell by surprise and sent him flying against a wall.

"Twister!" Quina yelled.

Cell was hit by a tornado, he was sent flying to the ceiling and then back to the ground.

"World shaking!" Haruka's attack hit Cell as he was getting up, it went right threw him.

Cell regenerated himself and charged at Quina, but he was knocked away by Trunks' flying kick.

Cell landed on his feet. "Well you seem to work well five against one, but what happens when you don't have the numbers to your advantage?" He produced 5 Cell Jr.

"Yuck!" Mako said.

One of them attacked Haruka. He wasn't as strong as Cell but was a tough little guy. Another took Mako by surprise as he sent an energy beam at her. Another hit Quina and sent him/her flying. Two charged at Trunks, he had a hard time blocking both of their attacks.

Cell himself went against Greymon. He punched him in the stomach and took out his air. He then launched himself upward hitting Greymon below the jaw. Greymon was to slow to keep up with Cell.

Cell flew behind Greymon and grabbed him by the tail, he picked him up and sent him flying. Greymon laid on the ground helplessly.

Cell looked at Tai. "You are not as strong now. Are you?"

Tai looked at his team mates. One Cell Jr. held Haruka to the ground while twisting her arm. Another one was jumping on Quina. Mako was sent flying against a wall and the little Cell Jr. kept punching her. Trunks was being held by one while the other one beat him up.

Cell smiled "You are not as strong as I once thought."

"THAT'S NOT TRUE!!" Tai yelled "WE CAN BEAT YOU!!"

"Why do you think you can beat me?"

"Because.. because... because we're the Red Team and nothing can stop us!!" Tai held the badge on his hand and it's glow started to get brighter. His crest of courage started to glow.

"Greymon ultradigivolves to... Metalgreymon!"

All the Red Team heard Tai's words.

"He is right." Haruka said. She hit Cell Jr. with the back of her head. She quickly turned around and jumped to her feet. He tried to attack her but she hit him with her knee first. "World Shaking!" her attack destroyed him.

Mako kicked her oponent on the face. She then grabbed him and threw him at the wall. "Let's see if you like it! Sprarkling wide pressure!" Her attack destroyed him.

Quina got up and the Cell Jr. stood before him/her. "Frog Drop!" a giant frog fell on top of him, he was trapped. As soon as the frog disappeared Quina extended his/her tongue and ate Cell Jr. "Needs salt."

Trunks kicked the Cell Jr. in front of him and rammed the one holding him into a wall. The first one charged at Trunks, but he got out of the way making both of them crash into each other. Trunks had his fist in front of his face and light started to come out of it, he opened his hand and a beam of energy destroyed them both.

Cell attacked Metalgreymon with an energy beam but it had no effect on him.

"Metal Claw!!" his launched his metal arm at Cell.

Cell avoided the attack by flying higher, but Metalgreymon flew as well and grabbed Cell with his teeth.

Metagreymon was moving his head violently, it looked like a dog with an old rag doll.

Finally Cell was sent to the ground, his body had been terribly damaged. He started to regenarate but he noticed all the Red Team was around him.

Tai was in front of him "This is what the Red Team can do."

Trunks shot an energy beam at Cell.

"World Shaking!"

"Jupiter Oak Revolution!"

"1000 Needles!"

"Giga blaster!"

All of the attacks hit Cell at the same time, all of his form was destroyed not leaving anything behind.

The Red Team cheered for their victory.

Tracy came up to the Red Team. "Here you guys! This is your prize." He gave Tai their second badge.

"Alright! We got the second badge!" Tai said.

"Way to go Tai!" Agumon said.

"But Tai, wasn't it you who said we need to save the badges to get back our jewel."

"Um.. yeah. Sorry, I got carried away."

"But thanks to that we defeat Cell. I have no complaints." Mako said.

Quina said "We strong, we bad, we hungry."

"Oh, I almost forgot." Tracy said "You can have these too." He showed the senzu beans to the Red team.

"What are these?" Haruka asked.

"They're senzu beans." Trunks said. "Take one, it will feel good."

Everyone took one but Quina was suspicious. "Just one? Not enough."

"Just try one Quina." Trunks said.

Quina ate a bean along with everyone else. Everyone's bruises disappeared and felt satisfied.

"Wow, this is wonderful!" Mako said.

"Tai! I feel full of energy!" Agumon said.

"Um.. feels like I eat many munchies. I like!" Quina said.

"Well, I hate to bring the party to a stop." Trunks said "But now more than before we need to take advantage of every minute. So we need to keep going."

"I guess you're right." Tai said. "Let's go."

Tracy waved good-bye to the yellow team.

Brock was still riding Onix, the Red team could be seen behind him as they were leaving the cave. "Well it has been a busy day for the Red Team, they lost their jewel. Amazingly Tai was able to keep the team's spirit alive. Not only that but during the battle with Cell he showed everybody why he's the owner of the emblem of courage. Today Tai showed us what a real captain should be. They may have lost their jewel today but have gained a lot more. Let's hope they can keep their spirits high as time goes on. For now let's go watch the blue team, even if we already have seen them in action today. Tha ball's in your court Mina!"

Mina was in a small western town. "Thanks Brock. The Blue Team have been walking since their meeting with the Red Team, they're about to arrive in a special part of the island. I wonder how they'll feel there. Should be interesting, let's watch!"

After about an hour of walking the Blue Team arrived at a western type town. The town was full of activity and it felt like if they had walked into the wild west.

"Why do I feel like we just walked into an episode of Bonanaza?" Beruche said. "I can even hear the theme song in my head."

"Wow Mimi!" Palmon said "Everyone is dressed like you. Sort of..."

"Yeah." Mimi said. "Who would have thought that a place like this was on the island?"

"Nothing will surprise me at this point." Ranma-chan said.

Just then they heard a voice, it was familiar to one of them. "Ranma!"

They turned around and saw Ukyo Kuonji. She ran to them and hugged Ranmachan.

"A friend of yours I suppose." Beruche said.

"I'm his fiancee!" Ukyo said

"Um...we were childhood friends." Ranmachan responded "Let me introduce my team. This is Beruche, that's Mimi and her digimon Palmon, she's Kari and her digimon Gatomon, and this little guy is named Vivi."

"Um.. Hi." Vivi said.

"Hello everybody!" Ukyo said "I guess with a team like this you really must put up extra effort."

"Excuse me?" Beruche said "We are all doing fine, Ranma could not ask for a better team."

"Yeah yeah.. but Ranma is the MAN!"

"He's also the WOMAN!"

The rest of the blue team couldn't help but to laugh a little.

Ranma-chan tried to change topic. "So... Ukyo. What are you doing here?"

"Um.. just doing my job, working for important people who like contests, I'm really just like representing them."

Ranma-chan asked "Are you one of the contest's representatives?"

"Bingo! You are so smart Ranma, you got it!"

"Gee... he, I mean she really showed us some brain power. Who would have thought it?" Beruche said. She was getting really annoyed by Ukyo.

"So we have to do a sidequest now?" Mimi asked.

"Yeah, but I need to speak alone with the team captain first. And happens to be Ranma." Ukyo said, he grabbed Ranmachan by the hand and took her away.

"What an annoying person." Beruche said.

"Are you getting jelous?" Kari asked.

"Now don't start that again. I found it kind of sick to watch a girl flirt with another girl."

"But Ranma is really a man." Vivi said.

"Yeah yeah.. let's have a look around the place while the two of them chat business. Whatever business that may be."

They left Ponyta with some other horses and went to look around.

Beruche, Mimi and Palmon went a certain way. Vivi, Kari and Gatomon went another. Vivi, Kari and Gatomon walked along the buildings.

"I heard the west was dangerous place." Vivi said.

"Oh.. that's just the movies." Kari said.

Just then the walked in front of a saloon and many crashing noises could be heard. They were about to peek in but a man was thrown out the door. He landed on his back, quickly got up and went back in there.

"Um.. well. Maybe just a little dangerous." Kari said.

"Should we go in?" Gatomon asked.

Vivi and Kari yelled "NO!"

They heard a voice "You kids shouldn't be around here."

They turned around and saw a tall pale man dressed completely in black.

"Who are you?" Vivi asked.

"I'm the richest man in town, I'm the undertaker."

"AAAAAAAAHHH!!!!" Kari and Vivi ran away with Gatomon following.

"I don't get it! What's so scary?" Gatomon said as she followed them.

Beruche, Mimi and Palmon were just leaving a building. Beruche had decided to dress more to the style of the place. She was now wearing a white shirt with a leather vest on top of it, a denim miniskirt, knee high leather boots, and a hat that was identical to Mimi's.

"How I look?" asked Beruche

"You look great! Maybe between the both of us we can start a new trend."

"You two look like sisters." Palmon said.

Both Beruche and Mimi giggled.

They then heard some screaming "AAAAHHHH!!!!" they saw Vivi and Kari running towards them.

"What's with you guys?" Mimi asked.

"This place is scary." Vivi said.

"Oh..come on you guys." Beruche said "There's nothing to be scared off."

"Why are you dressed like that?" Kari asked.

"This, well I always like to be in fashion. Even if it's only local."

"Let's go see if Ranma is done with Ukyo." Mimi said.

They went to the spot where they left Ponyta and waited for Ranma.

Five minutes later they saw a large wagon coming down the street, it made a loud honking sound before stopping. All the people who were around got closer to see what was this about. The blue team wanted to see what was going on.

Out of the wagon came a weird looking man, he was wearing a white shirt with a black vest on, black pants and a black hat. He had a black mustache, blue eyes and long pink hair?
He started talking through a loudspeaker. "Everyone gather around! We have the greatest invention in the history of mankind! We are honored to introduce to you the wonder tonic!"
Everyone is astonished. "Ohhh.... Ahhh..."

"Have a headache? Wonder tonic will get rid of it. Trouble sleeping? Wonder tonic will get rid of it. Lack of hair? Wonder tonic will help you grow more. High blood preasure? Low blood preasure? Wonder tonic will sovle all your health problems! Now I'm not asking to believe me, I'm will to give a free sample to show you the miracle of our product."

He looked at the crowd for a moment.

"How about you? You look like you could use my wonder tonic."

And old lady got closer to the man, she was wearing a pink dress and small glasses. She had blue hair and didn't really look old.

"Just to make things clear, we have never meet before. Right?"

"Of course not Jessie, we.."

The salesman hit the old lady with his elbow.

"I mean no sir, we have never seen each other before."

"Now what is bothering you?"

"My old knees can barely hold me, my back hurts, my head is killing me, my old eyes don't see very far, and I think I'm suffering from memory loss."

"Why do you think you're suffering from memrory loss?"

"I don't remember."

"Well, your problems are over! My wonder tonic will fix you right up. Here, take some."

He gave her some medicine and after a moment she jumped with joy. "Wow! I feel great! My bones feel stronger, I have the sight of an eagle, my headache is gone and I can remember all the birthday gift a have recieved through my entire life. This is wonderful!"

The old lady dances as the salesman speaks to the crowd.

"See folks? My wonder tonic is the answer for all your problems. Now how much would you expect to pay for the miricle medicine? $99.99? No!!! 19.99? Of course not! 9.99? That's not even funny! It's actualy $199.99.

But don't worry, we take Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Pokemon. So how many do you want!?"

There was a long silence.

"Um.. is there a problem? You can start buying now."

Another long pause, after a while the people started speaking.

"What kind of dumb animals do you think we are?"

"Why I say you are trying to pull our legs!"

"Why I though this was some wild comedy act!"

"Get the hell out of our town if you don't want us to bust you up real good."

Everyone went back to what they were doing. The blue team was still watching though.

"What went wrong?" asked the old lady. "It worked on TV."

"Don't worry, we can still take something out of it."

The salesman went over to the blue team. "Now it's real nice of you to offer your Ponyta as payment for the wonder tonic! Now here you go!"

He gave Mimi a little bottle and took Ponyta into the wagon before anyone could say anything.

Beruche finaly yelled. "Hey! You can't take him!"

The wagon changed it's appearance and it was revealed it was actually a truck. Ponyta was in a large cage.

The salesman and the old lady laughed.

The salesman took off HER disguise, turned out to be Jessie of Team Rocket. "Prepare for trouble!"

The old lady took off HIS disguese, turned out to be James of Team Rocket. "Make it double!"

"To protect the world from devestation."

"To unite all people within our nation."

"To denounce the evil of truth and love."

"To extend our reach to the stars above."

"Jessie!"

"James!"

"Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light!"

"Surrender now or prepare to fight."

Meowth appears "Meowth! That's riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii..." he just stands there staring.

"What is it Meowth?" Jessie asks.

"That's the same look he had when he finished watching that 100 hour marathon of 50's horror movies they showed on TV." James said.

"Yeah.. but even then he wasn't drooling."

They looked at the blue team and noticed that Meowth was staring at Gatomon.

"What's with you Meowth?" Jessie said. She hit him on the head. "Get us out of here!"

Meowth reacted "Um.. oh yeah!" He went to take the wheel.

Jessie laughed "So long you losers!"

"We'll have our people talk to your people, maybe they can do lunch sometime." James said.

But they weren't moving, and the blue team was slowly walking towards them.

"Meowth!" Jessie yelled "Get moving!"

"I can't!"

"Why not!"

"Cause there's a giant cactus in the way!"

Jessie and James turned around. Togemon was standing in front of the truck. She held the truck in place, and at same time scared everyone in town.

"That thing won't stop us! Go Arbok!"

"Show them who's the mon, pokemon that is. Go Weezing!"

Arbok and Weezing got out, but once they looked at Togemon decided that it was safer inside their pokeballs.

"Gee.. that wasn't much of a battle." Mimi said.

Beruche froze Jessie and James' bodies from the neck down. Gatomon opened Ponyta's cage using her nail, and got her out of the truck.

Vivi yelled "Firaga!" and the truck exploded.

Team Rocket was sent flying. "Team Rocket blasts off again!!"

"Good ridance." Beruche said.

"Poneee!"

"No problem!" Gatomon said.

"Why is Ranma taking so long?" Kari asked.

"I don't know. But let's do something while we're waiting."

"But what?" Mimi asked.

James was holding to a branch on the side of a cliff. Jessie was holding on the James. Meowth was holding on to Jessie. Below them was a large cactus patch.

"Why do always have to end up like this?" Jessie asked.

"I dunno, but let's go look for the fool and his Pikachu. Even Charizard is safer than the large cactus." James said.

"No way!" Meowth said "We have to go for that Ponyta again! We can't let them make fun of Team Rocket like that."

"You really think so?" James asked.

"Really sure!"

"Well, ok. But first we better get down from here." Jessie said.

"Why does things always have to be so bad." James said.

"Shut up! It could be worse."

The sound of coyote howling could be heard close by.

"You just had to say that, didn't you?" Meowth said.

"Oh.. shut up!"

What neither James or Jessie knew is that it wasn't Ponyta Meowth was after.

Ranma looked for the rest of the team all around town. He was in his male form, Ukyo had given him warm water. After a while he got tired and decide to stop at the saloon for a drink.
Once inside he couldn't believe what he saw.

Mimi and Beruche were standing on a table in the middle of the saloon. They each held a microphone. Kari, Gatomon, Palmon and Vivi were doing chorus.

Everyone in the saloon was real happy, they loved the way the girls sang. Many of them were talking about asking them out. Nobody seemed to mind that a cat, a plant and a small black mage were singing too.

Ranma had to wait for Mimi to finish the song and had to go through a mob of people to get to his team. "What are you guys doing?"

"Having some fun." Kari responded.

"Yeah! And the owner of the saloon told us we could stay here as long as we wanted. He has many rooms upstairs." Beruche said.

Some guy grabbed Ranma's shoulder "Hey you! Stop bothering the girls."

"That's alright!" Mimi said "He's with us."

He let go of Ranma "Lucky bastard!"

"So what happened Ranma?"

"Let's go upstairs, too many men are going wild here."

Everyone looked disapointed when they saw the girls go upstairs with some guy.

They got into a room and Ranma closed the door. He asked Beruche "What's with the outfit?"

"I'm just adapting to the place. So what did your fiancee tell you?"

"Ukyo is a bit confused about that."

"I bet..."

"You know, you're starting to remind me of Akane."

"Will you just tell us!?"

"It's in the bag! Tomorrow there's going to be a rodeo just outside of town. One of us has to win 3 events and we'll get the badge!"

"That's wonderful!" Vivi said.

"Think you can win Ranma?" Beruche asked.

"Um...me? Well you see I already had to fill the entry papers. And Mimi will be the one participating."

"ME!? What were you thinking?"

"You're the cowgirl, you should have plenty of experience with this."

"But, but I only dress like this because they're the prettiest and most durable clothes I have for these kind of activities."

"You mean you're not a cowgirl?"

"No! Before Ponyta I had never even been close to a horse before!"

"Um...you have a problem then."

"Can't you change the entry?" Kari asked.ç

"No, everything is set!"

"I'm going to die!" Mimi yelled.

Mina was standing outside of the saloon. Even outside the sound of the blue team arguing could be heard. "Well the Blue team is going to have a tough day tomorrow. But they do have the yellow team's emeraldl in their hands so they have a big advantage right about now. If the Red team or even the Yellow team want to win, they'll have to track down the Blue team. Well it's Sora's turn to show what the Yellow Team is doing, so I leave you with her. This has been Mina reporting for the Ultimate Challenge! Bye!"

It was night time and Sora was in the desert. Biyomon was holding an electric fan to keep Sora cool.

"Thank you Mina, well the Yellow team has been walking for a real long time with little time to rest. Hopefuly their journey in the dessert won't last much longer."

"Sora won't melt now, right?"

"Right, Sora will definetly not melt now."

"Biyomon happy! Sora safe."

"Yeah, well as long as I'm cool I won't complain anymore. Anyway, let's watch the Yellow Team."

"How much longer?" Ash asked.

"We're almost there, be patient my friend." Ishum answered.

"Uff.. I wish I was back in the jungle." Tentomon said "This place is wearing me out."

"I'm so hungry!" Goku said "Don't we have anything to eat?"

"Please Goku, we'll eat when we get the chance. But stop complaining." Freya said.

"Hey! What's that?" Ryoga asked. Some sort of structure could be seen at a distance.

"That's our destination." Ishum said.

"Finally!" Ash said.

"Pika!! pika pikachu!"

They started to run towards the structure.

Izzy said "Hey! That looks like some sort of fortress"

"That is correct, but the thing you're looking for is there."

"What's this suppose to mean!?" Freya said.

"I never said it was going to be easy my friends."

Tentomon asked Izzy. "Hey Izzy, how come this guy keeps saying we're his friends. He's not really our friend."

"He speaks like that to earn our confidence, but I still have my doubts."

"In any case, we should get closer to examine the place." Ryoga said.

"Right!" Goku said.

The yellow team headed for the fortress.

"They are almost here." a soldier said.

"Good, Ishum kept his word. Are they ready?" said the general with the missing thumb.

"Yes sir! They are already outside already."

"Good. I don't want the situation in our former base to repeat itself."

"Sir! They can handle anything sir."

"Yeah, I believe that too."

The yellow team was standing a short distance away from the fortress. I was a lot bigger than the base the Red team had come across.

"So what now?" Ash asked.

"We have to find a way to get in there." Goku said.

A male voice came from behind. "We can help you get in. But you won't be able to get out."

They turned around and saw three persons behing them. One was a grown up male with short blonde hair, blue eyes and an athltic body. He was wearing blue jeans, a red shirt and a black leather jacket. Besides him was a little girl who look about Kari's age. She had long black hair and red eyes. She was wearing a pink shirt that seemed too small even for her, and black pants. The third was a teenage boy with short black hair. He was wearing a white tank top, yellow pants and sunglasses. All of them had a red stripe on their left leg with the letters RR on them.

Goku noticed the Red Ribbon logo and said "Who are you? And why are you wearing those letters like if you were part of the Red Ribbon army!?"

The blonde guy responded. "Could it be because maybe... just maybe... we could actually be part of the Red Ribbon army? By the way, I'm android #24"

The little girl said. "You're not very smart, are you? I'm #25 and our partner here is #26."

Everyone in the yellow team took a fighting stance.

#24 said "Oh.. they want to fight. This might be fun."

#25 said "Remeber, we can't kill them."

"I know, I know, take the fun out of it."

"You guys sound confident! But I was able to beat the Red Ribbon army back when I was a little boy."

"But Goku, you are a little boy." Freya said.

"I'm not a little boy!"

"Whatever!" Ryoga said "I'm going to show them not to mess with us!"

Ryoga charged at #24 to punch him on the face. #24 grabbed his fist and started to crush his hand. Ryoga yelled in pain.

Freya leaped to attack #24 with her lance, but #26 appeared behind her. He hit her on the back and sent her crashing to the ground.

Goku charged at #24 but was blocked by #25. They started to exchange punches and kicks, they appeared to be evenly matched.

"Tentomon!" Izzy yelled.

"I'm sorry Izzy, I'm too tired and hungry to digivolve."

"Pikachu! Thundershock!"

"Pika!" Pikachu used his thundershock against #26 but it had no effect. #26 shot an energy blast at Pikachu, he was barely able to dodge it but the explosion sent him flying far.

"Pikachu!" Ash yelled "Why you!" Ash stared at #26 with anger.

#24 was no holding Ryoga by the neck. "There's so much difference in our powers that it's not even funny."

Goku and #25 stared at each other, Goku smiled. "It always excites me when I can fight with someone as strong as you."

#25 smiled in that cute little way only little girls can smile. "It's a shame though. If you don't stop it your friends will pay for it."

Goku saw Ryoga being held by #24, Freya was unconcious on the ground, #26 no had Ash and Izzy in his arms. "Damn, I have no choice!"

Ash was able to grab a pokeball. "Squirtle! I choose you!"

Squirtle appeared "Squirtle! squirt squirt."

"Water gun at Ryoga!"

Squirtle shot his water gun at Ryoga, it turned him into P-chan. With his small size #24 was not able to hold him. P-chan ran away.

Out of anger #24 shot an energy blast at Squirtle, luckily Ash was able to call it back before being hit.

#26 hit Ash and knocked him unconcious.

Goku said "Alright! We give up."

The androids took the yellow team into the fortress.

After the yellow team had gone into the fortress, P-chan came out of hiding. P-chan looked around and eventualy found Pikachu.

Pikachu had just recovered from the explosion.

"We? weee.."

"Pika..."

For some weird reason P-chan and Pikachu could understand each other.

"Wee.. wee.."

"Pikapika."

"Wee..."

"Pikachu!"

"Wewewe.."

Sora's comment "What are they talking about?"

Biyomon's comment "Basically they are saying they have to rescue the others."

"Pika!"

"Weee!"

The yellow team had been placed inside a cell. The soldier who locked them up said. "Don't try anything funny. This things is made of an invencible alloy, you won't be able to destroy it. After a while Ash and Freya woke up.

"What happened? Where's Pikachu" Ash said, he noticed he didn't have his pokeballs. "Where are my pokeballs?"

"I think Pikachu is fine, luckily he's not here." Izzy said "They took away your pokeballs, Freya's lance, my digivice and laptop, and the rest of our things."

"At least I'm here!" Tentomon said.

"Lucky us..." Ash responded.

Freya looked at Goku, he was sitting in a corner. She said "I'm sorry Goku, I was careless."

"I'm sorry too." Tentomon said "I was too weak to fight!"

Goku gave a small smile to his team. "Don't worry you guys, it's not your fault."

Izzy said "Goku is right! I bet everything was planned, how did they know we were there? Ishum must have set us up. He isn't with us so that proves it."

"I think you're right Izzy. But what can we do now?" Ash asked.

"We have to figure a way to escape."

"At least Ryoga wasn't caught." Freya said "That was quick thinking Ash."

"Well... I didn't even think about it, I just did it."

"Sometimes you have to go by instinct" Goku said "You don't have to think about everything."

"If Ryoga and Pikachu find a way to help us it will be great" Izzy said "But we must not depend on that. We have to figure something for ourselves."

Inside an office a large man was looking out the window. He was bald, had red eyes and a blond beard. On his desk was a plaque with Colonel Legstrong written on it. Two men entered the office, one of them was the general with a missing thumb. The other was a mysterious scientist.

"General Garth, it appears the mission was a succes." Colonel Legstrong said.

"We don't repeat our mistakes."

"That's good to know."

"The androids performed perfectly."

"I see, even Dr. Gero could be replaced."

The scientist spoke "Well I did get some help from his diagrams, but there was plenty of room for imporvement."

"I'm glad. After all the trouble that it was getting you to work for us it is nice to know it was worth it."

General Garth said. "Dr. Izumi is the best there is."

"You flatter me gentlemen, but I still have plenty of work to do."

"You're free to go Dr. Izumi."

"Thank you."

Dr. Izumi left.

"What do you want to do with the prisioners?"

"Try to convience them to work for us. If they refuse then kill them."

"Yes sir!"

General Garth left.

Inside the fortress a little hole was forming on the ground inside a kitchen. A diglet took out his head and looked around, and then went back in.

Pikachu and P-chan came out of the hole. Pikachu thanked the diglet for helping them get inside. The diglet left.

Pikachu and P-chan looked around, nobody was in sight. They made it to the dinning hall and saw some soldiers there. They hid beneath a table.

After the soldiers left Pikachu and P-chan went out of hiding. They left the dinning hall and came into a long passage. They made it to a room filled with all sorts of things.

Pikachu saw Ash's pokeball and went to get them. They also found Freya's spear, Izzy's digivice and laptop and the team's gear.

Suddenly a soldier got in and saw them.

"Pikachuuuuuu!" Pikachu attacked the soldier with his thundershock and he fainted. But other soldiers outside saw the a man faint and went to see what was going on.

Went they got to the room they were greated by Charizard. He attacked them with his flamethrower and they ran away.

The soldier who was guarding the Yellow team was curious as to what was going on. The place had become quite active all of a sudden.

Izzy took the opportunity and said "It's probably because of the fire."

The soldier said. "What fire?"

Izzy pointed at a window just outside the cell. The soldier, not being the smartes guy in the army decided to take a look. Goku shot a small energy blast at the guy's head and knocked him unconcious. They pulled him by the legs and took his key. The left the room and saw Heracross ramming through soldiers as they approached them. Pikachu, P-chan and Charizard were behind him, Charizard carried the team's things.

Pikachu jumped to Ash's arms. "Pikachu!"

"Pikachu! You're alright!" Ash hugged Pikachu. "Heracross, Charizard, thank you!" He took his pokeballs and called his pokemon back.

Everyone took their things as well.

"Let's get out of here." Goku said.

P-chan started running. The rest of the team followed him.

P-chan lead the team back to the kitchen and everyone saw the hole.

"P-chan! We are not going to fit in that hole." Freya said.

"Wee..."

Many soldiers were gathring around the kitchen ready to ambush the Yellow team.

Izzy took the opportunity and gave some vegetables for Tentomon to eat.

"Um.. yum. This is good!"

"How can you feed him at a time like this?" Freya said.

The soldiers got in.

"Tentomon digivolves to... Kabuterimon!"

Kabuterimon was so big that the room fell apart. The Yellow team made it out into an open area but still inside the fortress. They ran towards the gate. Many soldiers came out but were too afraid to do anything.

The Yellow team was in front of the gate. "Kamehameha!!" Goku attacked the gate but it didn't even get a scratch.

"Let's get on top of Kabuterimon and fly away!" Izzy said.

A voice from behind said "You won't get away."

They turned around and saw Colonel Legstrong. The 3 androids were behind him.

Izzy took a good look at the Colonel "Wow, you have many medals."

"I'm an efficient man."

"Want us to take care of them?" #24 asked.

"Please."

#24 charged at Kabuterimon, #25 went against Goku again, #26 attacked Freya.

"Electroshock!" Kabuterimon attacked #24. He took the attack head on but was just barely thrown back. He flew against Kabuterimon and punched him on the face, Kabuterimon fell to the ground.

Goku avoided #25's punches. She then started shooting several energy beams at Goku, but he avoided them as well and was able to make his way to her. Goku kicked #25 in the gut and sent her flying against a wall.

#26 charged at Freya.

"I was careless last time, but it won't happen again." Freya leaped into the air right before #26 hit her. Once in the air she threw her lance at him and it went right through his chest. He stopped functioning.

"What's going on!? #24! Get rid of them!" Coloner Legstrong said. He didn't notice Izzy running towards him.

Izzy leaped and tackled the colonel. But once in the ground he grabbed Izzy and held him. "What do you think you're doing you puny child?"

Out of nowhere P-chan jumped on the colonels face and started scartching it. The colonel had to let go of Izzy to try to get P-chan off his face.

Ash yelled "Bulbasaur! I choose you!"

Bulbasaur came out "Bulbasaur!!"

"Bulbasaur! Leech seed!"

A little seed came out of Bulbasaurs bulb and he shot it against the colonel. It hit him and the seed opened, vines came out of it and the colonel was wrapped. P-chan ran away.

#24 wanted to finish off Kabuterimon but Goku got on his way. They started exchanging punches. Goku notices #24 was stronger than #25.

#25 recovered and was ready to attack Kabuterimon.

Izzy yelled. "Noooo!!"

His crest of knowledge started to glow.

"Kabuterimon ultradigivolves to... Megakabuterimon!"

#25 attacked Megakabuterimon but her attack seemed insignificant to it. Many soldiers just ran away at the sight of the huge digimon.

"Wow! He's really big now!" Ash said.

"Horn Buster!!" Megakabuterimon attacked the gate. His attack was able to blow it away.

"What the!?" #24 wasn't sure what was going on. Goku took the chance and attacked him with a kamehameha, he blew a hole through his chest.

The yellow team ran outside and escaped from the base. Colonel Legstrong wanted to follow them but his army wasn't up for it.

About an hour of having left the fortress the Yellow team stopped to rest. Oddly enough the had even ended up in a forest.

"Uff... well I'm definetly not going to complain about the lack of action." Ash said.

"This doesn't feel like a simple game, this is serious!" Freya said.

Goku laughed "What are you guys talking about? I'm having tons of fun!"

"Computer games will not feel challenging anymore, not after this." Izzy said.

"Wee...wee.."

"Pika!"

"I think Pikachu and P-chan should recieve merit for what they did. They helped us a lot." Ash said.

Everybody congratulated P-chan and Pikachu.

"What about me?" Tentomon said "Had I not digivolve when I did we would still be in there."

"That's right." Freya said "It's a good thing he did digivolve like that. But I have a question, when did Goku give Izzy the badge? You were too busy fighting no?"

Goku held the badge, it still had it's glow. "I didn't give him the badge. I still have it right here."

"Then how did he...?" Ash said.

Izzy smiled and showed everyone another badge, but it didn't glow like the other one. "One of the medals on the colonel was actually a badge, I just took it. You guys didn't notice?"

"Izzy, only you would notice those things at times like that!" Tentomon said.

Everyone congratulated Izzy.

After Izzy checked the map he saw that a river was close by and that there was a town located downstream. They made their way to the river and with the help of Charizard were able to heat some water to turn P-chan back to Ryoga.

"Thanks guys. I can only take being a pig for a while."

"No problem!" Ash said "But why don't we camp here and try to get something for dinner?"

"I already got it!" Goku yelled. He was holding a dead bear over him. "I'm starving!"

"Does that taste like chicken too?" Izzy asked.

Sora was watching the Yellow team from the other side of the river. Biyomon was chatting with some friendly Hoothoots. "Well the Yellow team escaped from the Red Ribbon army, but I doubt it will be the last we hear from them. And they even got a badge out of it, who would have thought? Well let's hope the Yellow team can keep up with the challenges up ahead. Well this has been Sora reporting for the ultimate challenge. See you next time!"
