Minako was standing on top of a white hill, it was snowing lightly. Minako seemed very cold even though she was wearing appropriate winter clothes. "Well talk about being unfair! the Red Team get sent to a nice warm beach and the Blue Team get sent to this winter nightmare. Everywhere you look there's snow and more snow, it never ends. The Blue Team woke up a little while ago, they were placed in a cabin and were left with thick fur coats. They didn't spend much time in the cabin though, they left quickly and apparently heading in the right direction, if Bulma tipped them about what she think she did then I know where I'll be able to meet them to that interview that's been long due. Well see you a while!"

The Blue Team was walking along the snow, they were wearing the fur coats that they were given, but they didn't have the appropriate footwear and the snow was deeper than it seemed. Ranma-chan was leading the way because she was following the map and a little note she had in her hand. Vivi was right behind her, he had the most trouble of them all because the coat was too big for him, he wasn't about to take it off though. Closely walking behind them was Mimi who was carrying Tanemon inside her fur coat, she had complained a lot about the swamp, but then again this was worse. Behind them walked Beruche and Gatomon side by side, since Gatomon was light and swift on her feet she had the least trouble walking, Beruche was the least uncomfortable of them since her powers centered around ice and her body was resistant to the lowest of temperatures. Right behind them walked Ponyta with what seemed a lump of leather on his back, he kinda looked like a camel with it.

Mimi was the only one who could hear Tanemon speak "Mimi... now this is a bad place to be, I feel awful here."

"Sorry Tanemon, we're doing what we can to get out of here as soon as possible, or at least find some descent shelter. Right Ranma?"

Ranma turned around "Huh? what is it?"

"We are looking for shelter right?"

"Well... I'm not sure what we're looking for, I just hope this map leads us somewhere." The note Bulma had given Ranma was a small map, when place on top of their map it revealed a place that wasn't on their map, the cabin where they had started was also in there and there was some writing saying 'You really should check this place out!'.

"Will it be much longer?"

"No, we should make it there in a couple of minutes."

"I wonder who gave us that..." Vivi said "after last night things have gotten more confusing."

"Let's hope we can get some answers there."

Beruche and Gatomon heard a voice from beneath Ponyta's lump "I feel silly!"

Beruche got annoyed "Don't give me that! You just recovered from a terrible illness a couple of days ago, I don't want you getting sick on me again."

"You sound like my mother."

Mimi had heard that "Yeah, that did sound very motherly."

Beruche blushed "Don't be silly! I'm just taking normal precautions."

Gatomon was more serious about the situation "In any case Beruche is right, you have to take care of your health Kari. Are you cold?"

"No, I'm fine."

Vivi slowed his pace to be with the others "You shouldn't complain Kari, I'd love to trade places."

"Ok, I'm sorry, I should be grateful you guys are taking such considerations with me."

"Poneee!"

"You too Ponyta! you're great!"

"Poneeee..."

Suddenly Ranma-chan yelled "There! I can see it!"

Everyone walked as fast as they could to reach Ranma-chan, they were standing on the top of a hill and just below stood a green palace of sorts. It was the size of a stadium, in the front was a long and wide stairway that lead to the entrance, without the stairway the place would be completely circular, there was a hole on top which kind looked like an oversized chimney. The Blue Team ran towards the peculiar palace and made their way down in a heartbeat.

Once they had walked up the stairway they stood in front of the door, it was rather large, but nowhere near the door they had seen in the cave they had been just yesterday.

"So what do we do?" Beruche asked.

Ranma-chan tried to push the door open but it wouldn't budge.

"Why don't you know?" Vivi asked.

"Um... why not?" Ranma-chan admitted, she knocked on the door. They were all startled by the sound of the knocks because it sounded like thunderbolts. Shortly after the doors started to open, they noticed someone was inside and where surprised when they saw who it was.

"Minako?" Beruche asked.

"Yes it's me, I'm glad you could make it. You did bring your invitations right?"

"Invitations?" everyone asked at the same time.

"I'm just kidding you, come in, I know you must have a lot of questions. Luckily we'll all learn many things tonight."

"What is this place?" Vivi asked.

"We'll talk inside ok? It's a lot warmer in here, trust me."

Mimi had a wide smile "You don't have to tell me twice."

Everyone walked inside, they found themselves in small room that looked a bit like a lobby. There were 3 doors in it, the entrance, a smaller door on the opposite wall and another one on the left side. There were some couches near the center and Minako sat on one, she then asked the others to sit down. Once they sat down Minako spoke. "Before anything, I want to tell you that the Red Team was just sent to a different location you were."

Kari sighed with relief, she was a bit worried about Tai. She didn't know what had happened to him throughout the day though.

Minako continued "Now unto business, you shouldn't have learned about this place until you collected the 8 badges, but since you're here I might as well tell you."

The others were confused, they had a lot of questions to ask, but kept quiet for the time being. Minako noticed this and said "I know what you want to know, and we'll have a chance to talk about... that in a moment. This is where it's supposed to end."

Ranma-chan asked "End? end what?"

"The Ultimate Challenge, when a team gathers all the 8 badges and have two jewels, they have to come here and place them on a pedestal that's behind that door." Minako pointed to the door opposite to the entrance.

"That was what you needed to tell us?"

"Yes, it doesn't sound like much now does it? but they were instructions to be given when you collected the 8 badges."

Beruche looked at Minako "Minako, since you have to be close to us, you know what... happened last night, don't you?"

Minako looked serious "Yes, and it was very difficult for me not to do anything..."

"Why didn't you, is the Ultimate Challenge more important than your fellow senshi?"

"Listen... whatever happens you have to finish it."

"Why!? what's going on?"

"Well, one reason is, once the Challenge is over, it's over."

"What do you mean?"

"The limits placed on all the teams, they will disappear once the Ultimate Challenge."

Everyone stood quiet for a moment, Mimi finally said "Well that makes sense."

Ranma-chan was becoming impatient and stood up "So what are you saying, that we have to rely on digimons and saiyans to get us out of this!?"

Minako looked at Ranma-chan "Um..."

"Don't you have any pride as a senshi? to just sit and watch as others fight for you?"

"It's not what you think..."

"It's not!? then what is it!?"

Beruche stood up and faced Ranma-chan "Ranma don't be so harsh, I know how the senshi fell about each other and I know how hard this is for her."

"You too!? I won't stand for it!!"

Vivi looked at Ranma-chan "You feel disappointed in yourself because you weren't able to do anything but watch."

"What about you!? your magic wasn't of any use either."

"I still did what I could, it wasn't much I admit, but doesn't it mean anything to at least try?"

"Try? why try when there are others stronger who can fight?"

Gatomon was getting angry "Ranma!! I can't believe you're saying things like that, I admired your determination. You fought against Goku and won, even though nobody believe you could. Vivi is right, as long as you try, you never know what could happen."

"Easy for you to say, your partner just feels threaten and you digivolve to protect her."

"Even if I couldn't digivolve I would still do my best to protect her."

Ranma-chan walked away and punched the wall "Maybe... I'm just out of my league, and it makes me so angry that I can't do a thing."

Beruche walked towards Ranma-chan, she turned her around and slapped her. Everything became silent after that. Ranma-chan stared at Beruche, from the moment they had landed on that island they had continually bickered at each other, but only once before had she seen her truly angry like she was seeing her now, when they defeated the wiseman and she complained about being controlled by him. This time however Ranma felt she had a good reason to be like that so she slapped Beruche back.

Kari and Mimi quickly stood up and stood between Ranma-chan and Beruche. Beruche stared coldly at Ranma-chan and then... turned around and sat back down on the couch.

Ranma-chan didn't say anything either, but she didn't move from where she stood. There was a lot of silence after that. Finally Minako found the courage to say "There's something else I have to do..."

Vivi asked "What is it?"

"I need to interview you guys individually, I've had to do this since you got your fourth badge, but you were so busy I hadn't found the time. So, can I?"

For a moment there was silence again, Mimi and Kari looked at Ranma-chan expecting she would answer. Mimi got annoyed and said "Let's do it!"

This annoyed Ranma.chan "Who are you to decide?"

Mimi looked back at her, she had a defiant look on her face "I'm someone who still cares for this team."

Minako had a sweatdrop, she stood up, walked towards the left side of the room and open the door. "Who wants to come in first?"

Mimi walked determined with Tanemon in her arms stood up and followed her. Once they went through the door Minako followed them and closed it behind them. The room they were in was much smaller than the other one, it only had 3 chairs in it.

"Sit down, get comfy." said Minako
Mimi sat down.

Minako sat down as well and sighed "So Mimi, what do you think of your team?"

Mimi looked like she wanted to cry, Tanemon notices this and rubbed herself on Mimi's abdomen. "I like them a lot, even if they are a bunch of idiots."

"That's an interesting answer, care to elaborate?"

"They are all wonderful, well you know I know Kari longer so I don't have to go into detail with her and Gatomon..."

"Right..."

"Ranma-chan ia a good guy... girl... whatever, he just seems to be so thick at times. He should know by know that he can count on us to help him, he doesn't have to be the strongest to accomplish anything."

"What about Beruche?"

"Beruche understands us better, but she too is a bit thick to make things work. We already proved we can work together, why do we have to continue acting like that to each other?"

"Vivi?"

"Vivi is ok, if he was only a bit more confident, he's more valuable to us than he thinks."

"Do you plan to continue or drop it all?"

"If it was only me... I'd go on, because there's something wrong, very wrong going on and... and you know what?"

"What?"

"I think the Ultimate Challenge has something to do with it, but not in a bad way."

"What do you mean?"

"When I went to the digital world, I thought it was a horrible place, but in the end it made me stronger and now I love it. I think the Ultimate Challenge is similar, once again we're becoming stronger together and in the end that might be our triumph card."

"I understand you perfectly... that's why I didn't do anything last night, I too believe there's a reason behind all this."

"But, I don't know if everybody feels that way..."

"If you understand each other as you just said you did, they will."

"Thanks."

"I think this has been long enough already, care to bring someone else in."

"Sure." Mimi and Tanemon left.

Vivi walked in a moment after Mimi and Tanemon left, he sat in front of Minako.

"So Vivi, what has changed since the beginning of the Ultimate Challenge?"

"Oh... so many things..."

"Like what?"

"I don't know how to say this, it's been hard for me. When I traveled with Zidane he was always there to ensure me that everything was alright. I still worried a lot, but... I don't know, I miss that."

"What?"

"This team is very nice, Kari is very friendly to me, but in a way they don't protect me like Zidane used to."

"You can't expect someone to protect you forever, they trust you Vivi, Mimi just told me how valuable you are to the team."

"Really?"

"Yes, and you want my advice?"

"Um... ok."

"You're important to the team Vivi, act like it. Have your voice heard, you may think they won't listen, but you might be surprised."

"Ok, thanks."

"How do you feel about what Ranma said?"

"About not being strong enough to fight? I don't know, but I think Beruche didn't understood what Ranma is trying to say."

"What do you think he's trying to say?"

"He does not want to give up, but doesn't know where to look for the strength he needs to fight."

"Maybe you can help him find it."

"Maybe..."

"Well thank you for your time Vivi."

"You're welcome."

"Please ask someone else to come in."

"Ok."

Vivi stood up and walked out.

Beruche walked in and shut the door behind her, she still looked mad.

Minako looked at Beruche "Beruche, what did Ranma say that made you so angry?"

"Just about everything."

"Beruche?"

"Do you remember when..." Beruche seemed to have lost her voice in the moment, she looked like she didn't want to cry but she couldn't help it.

"Do you want a moment to calm down"?

"Um... yeah..."

The two spent a moment quiet, Minako thought about Beruche during that time. She didn't really know that much about her, not one of the four sisters had ever talked much about their past life after being healed by Sailor Moon.

Beruche calmed down a bit and said "Do you remember when... I tried to commit suicide?"

Minako was taken completely surprised by that question, she answered honestly "Of course, how could I forget?"

"I had lost all hope then, if it hadn't been for Cooan I would have died believing there was nothing for me."

"Do you think about it much?"

"More than you might think."

"But that is behind you now, you've lead a new life since then."

"I know, but it's not easy to leave those feelings behind."

"I understand, but what does this have to do with Ranma?"

"The idiot, he acts like I did, that's why I know how much of an idiot he is."

"Do you think he's given up?"

"Of course not! it's not what you think!"

"What is it then?"

"I lost all hope, I thought I had nothing even though my dear sister was right in front of me. Ranma has his team around him and he appears blind to us! I... we believe in him!"

"Oh... I understand now."

"The jerk doesn't realize his power is right on his face!"

"Then let him know!"

"I don't know how..."

"Like you said, he has a whole team around him, as a team show him what you mean."

Beruche stayed quiet for a moment, she then said "You're right, we'll show him."

"Beruche?"

Beruche's face changed completely, she made a smile but her face quickly changed to surprise and took out a pocket mirror. "Oh look at my face! There is nothing worse to make-up than tears."

Minako had a large sweatdrop "Live with it."

Beruche smiled, she stood up and said "I suppose someone else is next, right?"

"Right."

Beruche walked outside, and closed the door gently this time.

Kari and Gatomon were the next to enter, Kari looked confused.

"Sit down."

They sat down, but Kari was the first to ask a question "What did you and Beruche talk about?"

"Oh... you noticed a change?"

Gatomon said "Notice? she's acting like nothing had happened, but by her looks she cried for a while."

"Don't worry about her, she'll be fine. It's not denial or anything like that."

Kari seemed pleased with that answer "Oh ok... I'm glad she's fine."

"So Kari, tell me your views about the Blue Team."

"It's a wonderful team! I for so grateful to be a part of it."

"From what I've talked with the others they all seem to like it, but you guys have an odd relationship."

"Yeah, but when it get's down to it, when can really work together."

"How do you feel about your teammates? You can exclude Mimi if you want because you've traveled together before."

"Ok, Vivi is a great guy. Great things come in small packages."

"Since the beginning of the challenge you'd made a personal quest to prove small people are powerful, what motivated you to do such a thing?"

Gatomon interrupted "Shouldn't you wait until she finishes answering your last question?"

Minako had a sweatdrop, "You're right, how could I made such a silly mistake?"

Kari continued "Ranma is good captain, it's a shame he doesn't get along with Beruche. He's a confident fighter, so I can understand why this bothers him so much."

"What about Beruche, I can tell you feel something special for her."

"How much do you spy us?"

"Spy? It's my job to keep an eye on you, you knew that from the beginning."

"Sorry, you're right."

"About you knowing from the beginning or about Beruche?"

"About both."

"What do you feel for Beruche?"

"I don't know, she seems to be a nice person but who can't bring out her true self."

"What do you mean?"

"From what I know, she was evil and healed by Sailor Moon, no?"

"Right, I was there when it happened?"

"But you can't just pick a wand and change everything about a person, the sisters were good because I believe those were their true selves. Still, I can imagine how Beruche still has something that troubles her, the problem is that even she doesn't know what it is."

"You plan to help her?"

"Only if I can, she's such a fun person that I feel bad that she keeps something so bad in herself."

"You're such a nice kid Kari."

"Thank you." Kari smiled
"Now I already asked my next question."

"Right... to tell you that truth I did it mostly for Vivi. He's way powerful and he doesn't realize it, I want to show him and everyone else that size doesn't matter when inside you can be a 1000 feet tall."

"Wow, do you really make it a quest to help everybody?"

Gatomon said "She's too good for her own good, you have to admit she's something special."

"You're right, well Kari I think that's enough. Could you ask Ranma to come in?"

"Sure!"

Kari and Gatomon left to went Ranma. Once they left Minako said "I might have taken long to make this interview, but you have to admit is the most profound interview of them all."

Ranma-chan entered the room, she slammed it in a similar way Beruche had. She sat down and said "Let's get it over with."

"Are you always this grouchy?"

Ranma-chan started at Minako "If Sailor Moon had disappeared yesterday what would you be doing right now?"

Minako did not expect anything like that, she didn't know what to say.

"Whatever you were doing you wouldn't be here asking me anything, would you?"

"I...I..."

"You don't feel you have the power to defend her, so you expect us to do it!"

Minako knew very well what she was about to do was not allowed, but did it anyway, she punched Ranma-chan and knocked her off her chair. "How dare you!?"

Ranma-chan just stood up quickly, but she was only able to see Minako close the door behind her.

Minako stormed out of the room, the rest of the Blue Team saw that she was furious, her face was clearly red. She grabbed a coat and made her way to the exit, before opening the door she said "I hope you're right about him, her, whatever... it's difficult to believe someone that can be such a jerk can win your trust. I know he's angry right now but that doesn't give him the right to hurt others! You can stay here as long as you want, I'll be seeing you." After that Minako opened the door and left.

Shortly after Ranma-chan left the room and found the whole Blue Team staring at her. Everyone seemed angry, even Ponyta. Gatomon walked towards Ranma and said "I know you're frustrated by the situation, but if you expect others to understand you then you have to make an effort to understand them!"

Tanemon joined Gatomon "Yeah! just because you're angry doesn't give you the right to be a bully!"

Ranma-chan didn't say anything, she just opened the door she had just went through and went back inside, shouting herself inside.

Mimi said "*sigh* now what?"

Beruche sat down and said "Let's give him a minute to cool off, right now he's a walking disaster and nothing good can come out of his mouth."

Vivi said "Right now we have to think what our direction is going to be from here on."

"Minako was right about something, finishing the challenge would help everyone because badges would no longer be needed." Mimi said.

"But wasn't that what made Ranma mad in the first place?" Tanemon said.

"I want to know," Beruche said "do we all agree on continuing the challenge?"

Everyone nodded.

"Fine, right now all we have to do is smash some sense into Ranma's brain and we're all set."

Kari smiled, it was a blunt way of putting it but Beruche was right.

Curiosity had gotten the best of Mimi "What do you think is behind that door?" she pointed to the door that was opposite to the entrance.

"I don't know" Beruche admitted.

"Should we check?" Vivi said.

"Why not?"

They all walked up to the door and opened it, they found a much larger room behind it. The room was shaped like half a circle, the door was in the center of the rounded wall and the flat wall was clearly made of glass, although it was so dark behind it that they couldn't see what was behind it. Near the entrance stood a pedestal, when they close to it they noticed that on top there was a sort of rock with several carvings on it, 8 were circular and were around 2 that were octagonal in shape.

"This is where the badges and jewels must go." Beruche said.

Vivi put his head down "It's a shame we only have 5 badges."

Mimi didn't seem so depressed "Well we just have to get 3 more no?"

Kari smiled "Right!"

Gatomon and Tanemon noticed that on the roof near the center of the room the roof seemed to curve down like it had melted and made a funnel shape with a hole in the middle. Gatomon wondered if the hole lead outside to the chimney type structure outside, but if that was the case snow would have come in through it.

Ranma-chan sat on a chair in the small room where the interviews had taken place. She was lost in thought 'Doesn't anybody feel bad about what happened last night? we were all pretty much helpless and in the end we just sat and watch digimon fight each other. What is that they believe on? but then why do I care what they feel? in the end it comes down to what each of us can do. I've trained my whole life to be the master of anything goes martial arts, always looking for different styles so I can beat anybody at their own game, but this game, it's got nothing to do with me.' Then he yelled "When it comes down to it, I'm just an ordinary human!"

At that moment someone answer "Do you believe being human is a reason of shame?"

Ranma-chan was startled, she hadn't noticed that someone had been standing right in front of her. It was a short green guy with antennas on his head. Ranma-chan got a bit frightened and left the room in a hurry, the moment she went through the door she saw a fat and short black man dress in arabic clothes. "AHH!!"

The short green man walked around Ranma-chan and said "Hey don't worry, we're not here to hurt you. My name is Dende and this is Mr. Popo."

"Where are the others?"

"The others? I you mean the rest of your team, don't worry they're just exploring this place, they're right behind that door."

"What do you want?"

"Nothing! You'd think we were going to rob you or something. I can even help you."

Just at that moment the rest of the Blue Team came back. They were startled when they saw Dende and Mr. Popo. "Ah... a martian!!" yelled Mimi.

Dende had a sweatdrop "I'm not a martian, I'm a namekian!"

Then it was everyone else's turn to have a sweatdrop. Beruche said "Like that makes a difference."

Dende said "Look, I came here to give you guys an opportunity to earn a badge!"

Kari said "Really?"

Dende nodded, he then looked back at Ranma-chan. Tell you what, you guys have to fight a guardian."

Mimi said "OH NO!!! Not another guardian!!!"

Mr. Popo said "You not like guardians?"

"They're tough badges to get." Vivi admitted.

Dende smiled "but I'm going to give you a hand. You can fight two guardians for two badges, and since you need three I can send you on a quest so you can get the last badge."

Kari said "Wow!! Thanks!!"

Mimi said "But two guardians?"

Dende looked at Ranma-chan "You can fight one, and I can even let you choose what type of opponent you want. The rest of your team fights the other."

Beruche didn't like that sound of that, she wanted to fight both as a team, but Ranma-chan was quick to respond "I accept!!"

Dende smiled "What opponent do you want?"

"A digimon!! and make it an ultimate!!" Ranma-chan looked at her team "That's as strong as they come, right?"

Kari was about to say something but Mimi put her hand on her mouth "Right, that's as strong as they come."

Ranma-chan was pretty excited "Fine! Let's do it then."

Dende and Mr. Popo whispered to each other "Let it be then! We know exactly who to use."

Beruche asked "What about us?"

"Sorry, can't let you choose. I've already helped too much as it is. Come this way."

Dende walked into the room the Blue Team had just been in a moment ago. Mr. Popo followed and then the Blue Team. Ponyta stayed outside.

Unlike a moment ago the room behind the glass wall was now clearly lit. The room behind the class was square. The floor was almost completely even except on the far side of the room where there was a large step, almost a platform. The side walls had weird carvings on them, two very large circular carvings on each that went from the floor to the ceiling. The roof had a series of spotlights hanging from it.

Ranma asked "Where's the guardian?"

Dende stood in front of Ranma and placed his hands in front of his body, Ranma suddenly felt a wave of energy go through him. After Dende was done Ranma felt great, he felt in optimal condition, but when he realized it has now IN the room behind the glass.

"What the!?"

The rest of the Blue Team watched from behind the glass wall.

Beruche asked Mimi "Were you telling the truth about Ultimate being the strongest?"

Mimi sighed "No, there is higher level called Mega, but Ranma is going to get pounded as it is."

"Good thinking."

Mr. Popo then said "Time for the guardian to appear!"

Suddenly in the far end of the room there was an explosion of smoke, suddenly the spotlights turned on towards the small cloud of smoke. When the smoke vanished the guardian came into view.

Mimi looked disappointed "Oh no... not him!"

"Ladies and gentlemen, performing for you tonight, the one, the only, the great Etemon!"

Suddenly cheap rock music started playing real loud, the purpose of the large carvings was now evident, they were speakers! even the people behind the glass wall had to cover their ears. Beruche had to yell "WHO'S THAT!?"

Mimi had to scream her answer too "THE MOST ANNOYING DIGIMON OF THEM ALL!!"

Dende put his hands on the glass and suddenly the volume was turned down significantly, but looking at Ranma it was obvious that inside the music was still just as loud.

Mimi then became curious "Wait a sec! Hadn't Etemon digivolved to Metaletemon?"

Dende said "But wouldn't that be a mega?"

"I know that! but how did he go back to being regular Etemon?"

Dende smiled "He's not the real Etemon, he's a copy we made using existing data. In fact all the guardians of the Ultimate Challenge are copies of the originals, the only exception to this is Mewtwo."

Beruche shuddered, the copy of the Wiseman had been TOO good.

Gatomon chuckled "So much for the one and only!"

Etemon kept singing something about how great he was. Beruche had to ask "Is this a fight or a concert?"

Mimi looked genuinely worried "For Ranma's sake I hope he just keeps singing?"

Vivi asked "Is he that tough?"

Mimi sighed "He may be ugly, annoying and loud, but he IS very strong."

Ranma-chan was just kneeling on the ground covering her ears, the music was too loud. Suddenly Ranma-chan stood up and charged at Etemon.

Beruche asked "Do you think he remembers what I said about charging towards the opponent like that?"

At that moment Ranma crashed face first into the glass, it was very hard so it didn't even crack. The rest of the Blue Team responded "No..."

"At least that got Etemon to stop singing." Tanemon said.

Ranma-chan stood up and noticed her nose was bleeding, she wiped the blood of her face and walked towards Etemon.

Etemon made a no-no sign with his finger "Don't you know it's rude to interrupt a performance like that? you should be grateful to presence my great act. There are many who would kill to have a front row sit in my concerts you know."

Minako's comment: "Contrary to popular belief, he IS (or was?) popular with many digimons in the digital world. Oh and yes! I am doing comments, I still have a job to do."

Ranma-chan took a fighting stance "I don't care about your music, I'm going to give a beating."

Etemon laughed out loud "You think you can beat me? you can't! and you know why? because I'm perfection personified. Just look my incredible body, my handsome face, my beautiful voice."

Ranma-chan had a sweatdrop "You look like a chimp wearing and little boy's pajama."

This comment clearly annoyed Etemon "Shows how much you know about beauty. You know, I shouldn't even have to bother with you, but it looks like you need to learn a lesson. Who are you anyway?"

"I'm Ranma Saotome, master of the school of anything goes martial arts."

"Anything goes martial arts? never heard of your style."

"Just like the name says, anything goes! I can learn any style quickly and beat anybody at their own game. This what I plan to do to you."

Etemon laughed "You're a riot! if you want I can forgive you and you can be part of my show, I need someone to be the comedy relief."

Ranma-chan smiled "I don't know why, all you need to do is stand on stage and your appearance can make anybody laugh."

Mimi said "There they go with the pre-match conversation, I wish martial artists would quit that habit."

Minako's comment: "It's one of those things that we have to live with."

"So, are you ready for your beating?" Etemon asked.

"Show me what you got!" Ranma-chan said.

Beruche now seemed worried "I hope Ranma takes his opponent more..."

At that moment Ranma-chan crashed against the glass again.

"...seriously."

Gatomon said "Don't worry, he started just as bad when he fought Goku and eventually he won."

Dende said "He got lucky."

Everyone looked at Dende, Vivi asked "You were there?"

"Well no, but I can see many things. Goku keeps his level the same to that of his opponent, he likes to make fights as interesting as possible. It's just that Ranma was lucky that Goku hit a certain rock before Goku decided to end the fight."

"Rock? You mean the one that block the entrance to that weird cave?"

"Yes, it was a magic entrance. Whatever it was hit with, it would counterattack with a force 100 times stronger."

"Oh..." Tanemon said "That's why it hurt so much when I hit it."

"And that's why it got hot when I tried to freeze it." Beruche said.

"and finally that's why Goku got knocked out when he hit it." Gatomon said.

"Hey wait a second!" Beruche said "what else do you know about that cave?"

Dende smiled "We'll talk later, right now let's see the fight."

Everyone put their attention back on the fight. Ranma-chan was walking in circles around Etemon. Etemon however was showing off his muscles and posing like if he were Mr. Universe or something. Ranma-chan tried to catch him off guard and charged again, but her face crashed against Etemon's fist. Etemon picked up Ranma-chan by the stomach and threw her towards the glass again.

Mimi had to turn away "I can't keep watching this."

Beruche asked "Can he hear me if a say something?"

Dende said "You shouldn't be able to help him."

"We're a TEAM, can't we at least give moral support?"

"Oh alright..." Dende raised his hand and sound now traveled normally through the glass.

Beruche then yelled "Ranma! be careful! Mimi says that digimon is VERY powerful."

Ranma-chan stood up "No kidding..."

They saw that Etemon had gone back to modeling his body, he didn't seemed the least worried about Ranma.

Ranma-chan took the opportunity to analyze the situation, and wondered what technique would be effective against Etemon.

Vivi said "He sure is powerful, just looking at him you could not guess he was that strong."

Mimi said "Imagine when he actually uses his powers, but hey wait, it's not like he has a dark network in there, does he?"

Dende looked at Mimi with a mischievous smile "Well the room has giant speakers and spotlights just to suit him, what do YOU think?"

"Oh dear..."

Ranma-chan stood there thinking how she could attack Etemon. Since Ranma-chan wasn't doing anything he took out his guitar and used his attack love serenade. A wave of energy blew Ranma-chan and she crashed against the glass back first. "Face it girl you're out of your league."

"I'm not a girl!" Ranma-chan stood up and charged at Etemon.

Etemon confidently threw a punch but Ranma-chan got out of the way in the last second. She then threw a punch at his gut, successfully leaving him without air.

The Blue Team cheered that Ranma-chan had landed her first successful attack.

Ranma-chan continued with her momentum and stepped behind Etemon, she then kicked him in the rear and sent him face first to the ground.

Etemon stood up and face Ranma "How dare you do this to me? I won't allow such insults to come to the great digimon king!"

Ranma-chan saw that Etemon was now mad, which was part of her plan. She then proceeded to leap towards the step on the far end of the room and started singing, and she sounded awful. She sang a song similar to Etemon's but change the lyrics saying how she was just a dumb monkey who thought he was all that great."

This got Etemon so mad that he charged against Ranma-chan, she leaped out of the way before he could reach her. Ranma-chan kept her cool and let Etemon charge at her, luckily his speed wasn't as great as his strength, Ranma-chan had no trouble evading him and leading him in circles.

Kari said "Ranma is going to go for it."

Mr. Popo added "Ranma has a great technique at his disposal, it doesn't matter how powerful his opponent is because they get hit with their own energy."

Vivi looked a bit worried "Um... how resistant is this glass?"

Dende smiled "Don't worry, it won't break."

"Ok..."

Ranma-chan kept going in circles with Etemon, when she felt she had enough hot energy around her she released her powerful attack "Raising dragon hurricane!"

Etemon didn't know what hit him, he was elevated from the ground and was sent flying in circles, he hit walls, the roof and even the glass. He moved so fast that he didn't know if he was hitting the roof or the ground. When the hurricane disappeared Etemon laid on the ground.

Everyone cheered "Ranma won!!"

But Etemon stood up, he looked angrier than ever.

Ranma-chan looked worried "I can't believe you were able to stand up after that!"

"Do you think that would be enough to beat me!? such insults will not be tolerated!"

Suddenly black lines started to appear on the ground beneath Etemon, like veins they spread across the ground until they covered all the room.

Mimi turned again "I can't watch."

Suddenly Etemon took out his guitar again and played, this time there was no wave of energy but black energy shot from the black lines and hit Ranma-chan hard, she was thrown to the roof and when she feel she was received by a second attack. After falling from the second attack she just laid there, the rest of the team wondered if she was conscious.

Ranma-chan was able to at least to get to her knees, she looked at Etemon who still looked furious. He attack again and this time she was covered in darkness. For a moment it looked like nothing was happening but then she was released from the darkness. Even though she was still in the same room she couldn't see Etemon anymore, she couldn't see her team behind the glass either, and the dark lines on the floor had disappeared. "What's going on?"

Suddenly she noticed something was rubbing her leg, she looked down and saw a cat. She yelled and leaped away, but she landed in the middle of another group of cats. "AAHH!!" Now the room appeared to be full of cats.

Etemon laughed at Ranma-chan "Cats? that's a riot!"

The Blue Team was wondering what has happening, after being hit from the dark network Ranma had starting very strange, he was running from something but there was nothing there, he kept yelling "Cats!! get them away from me?"

"What's going on?" asked Kari.

"Etemon used the dark network to bring terror into Ranma's mind, and terror in his mind is cats..."

Beruche looked at Ranma, she looked very worried. She started to hit the glass and make a lot of noise "Ranma snap out of it!! he's tricking you!! please Ranma you can't lose!!!"

Kari looked at Beruche, she saw a lot of sadness in his eyes.

"Ranma!!" Beruche kept yelling "come back to your senses!!!"

Ranma-chan was completely oblivious, to Beruche. She kept running around the room yelling cats over and over, finally she reached a corner between a side wall and the glass. Beruche ran to her and looked at her face, she could the desperation in Ranma-chan's eyes. "Ranma... don't give up. Please..."

Ranma-chan just kept saying "Cats... cats... get them away." her eyes pointed at Beruche but it didn't appear she was looking at her, more like a blank stare. She suddenly yelled and scared Beruche so much that she fell back. "Cats! I can't stand it!!"

"Ranma!!"

During all this time Etemon was laughing out loud, he found all this very funny. Just then Ranma-chan made a noise that surprised Beruche "Meeeeeooooow..."

"Huh!?"

Ranma-chan turned around and faced Etemon, she stood on all fours and then hissed at him.

Kari asked "What happened to Ranma?"

Dende didn't respond.

Minako's comment: "It's the Neko-ken!"

Etemon laughed some more and then said "You've cracked! I can't believe it was that easy, but don't worry I'll end your life now so you don't have to live like that." He attacked using the dark network, but Ranma-chan leaped out of the way of the beams. Etemon attacked continuously but Ranma-chan was leaping between the gaps in the lines and avoiding everything. Before Etemon knew it he had Ranma-chan right at his face, she took a large swipe and scratched Etemon's face. Etemon grabbed his faced and yelled in pain, but Ranma-chan didn't stop there, she leaped at Etemon. "I won't forgive you for that!!" Etemon threw a punch but Ranma-chan avoided it and knocked Etemon down, she stood on top of him on all fours and started to repeatedly scratch Etemon.

Everyone turned around because it didn't look pretty. Etemon kept screaming while Ranma-chan kept scratching, soon dust sized pieces of Etemon started flying everywhere. Ranma-chan continued mercilessly scratching until there was nothing left of Etemon.

When Etemon disappeared the room went completely dark again.

Vivi asked "What happened? where's Ranma?"

Before Dende could answer they heard Ranma-chan's voice behind them "Meeeeoooow!"

Everyone was slightly frightened, they didn't know if Ranma-chan would act aggressively against them. Kari took a step forward towards Ranma-chan.

"Kari watch out!" Gatomon said.

"He's just acting like a cat." Kari said, she slowly approached Ranma-chan and said "Here kitty kitty kitty" she extended her hand towards him.

Ranma-chan took a sniff of Kari's hand, she slowly got closer. This made Gatomon very nervous, she didn't care it was Ranma-chan, if she did something against Kari she would not think it twice before attacking.

Ranma-chan finally rubbed her head against Kari and started purring, this made everyone calm down. Kari led Ranma-chan out of the room and back to the 'lobby', she sat down on a couch and Ranma-chan got on her lap, which looked funny because she almost completely covered Kari who was a lot smaller than her. She continued purring. Ponyta was asleep in the corner.

Everyone got outside of the room, Gatomon didn't like what she was seeing. "What did Ranma do to get treated like that?"

Mimi giggled "You're just jealous Gatomon!"

Gatomon blushed, she didn't admit it but that was the truth.

Beruche sighed "We can't have Ranma like that forever."

Dende said "Don't worry, this isn't the first time this has happened. Ranma will be fine once he calms down. It's actually one of his techniques called the Neko-ken."

"How do you know so much?"

Dende smiled "It's your turn to fight."

"Um... do we have to do it now?" Mimi asked.

Dende nodded "This second battle is almost a freebie, you can't ask for it to be postponed."

Mimi pouted "I thought we were going to do that tomorrow."

Vivi asked "What about Kari? She seems to have her hands full at the moment."

Dende looked at Kari who was rubbing her hand on Ranma-chan's hair. "We'll make it a three on three then."

Gatomon then said "Wait! I can still fight!"

"Without Kari's presence you're not allowed to participate, she's the contestant not you."

"Damn!!"

Beruche looked at Kari who just raised her shoulders. She then said "Ok, we'll do it."

Vivi didn't feel sure about it "Are you sure?"

"What's the worst that could happen? We lose and don't get a badge, it's worth at least a try, besides it's going to be a fair match."

Dende nodded. "Follow me then."

Beruche said to Kari "Take care of yourself."

Kari smiled "Don't worry about me."

Dende asked Mr. Popo to stay with Kari and guided the rest of the Blue Team back inside. Once inside Dende put his hands in front of Beruche and repeated the process he had done with Ranma.

"Wow! This feels great, where were you after I had a hard day of work?"

Dende did the same with Mimi and Tanemon, Tanemon was so energized that she leaped from Mimi's arms.

"Tanemon digivolves at... Palmon."

Mimi smiled "Ok! Let's go for it!"

Dende finished with Vivi who felt his body power up. "Wow! I won't have a problem pulling off many spells!"

Before they could say anything everything went dark for a second and when the lights turned back on they were inside the same room Ranma-chan had been just a few minutes ago, yet the room was very different. There weren't any speakers on the wall or dark lines on the floor. There was no step at the end of the room but there was a metal door at the far end wall instead. Everything looked metallic now.

"What now?" Mimi asked.

"I think they'll come through that door any moment now." Beruche responded.

No sooner had Beruche ended her sentence that the metallic door opened and 3 persons walked out. One was a woman with short blonde hair and an eye-patch on her left eye, she wore a dark blue shirt and even darker blue pants, she also had black boots. The other was a semi black man with a small blue best and black baggy pants. Lastly the man walking slightly behind them had golden blond hair, blue eyes and a scar on his face going across his left eye, he wore a dark blue vest with a cross on it, black pants and a gray trench coat; he also carried an odd looking sword.

The moment this last person saw the Blue team he stopped dead on his tracks and yelled "God dammit!! What the hell is this!?!?" He then turned around ready to leave but the door closed behind him. The other two ran to his side and whispered something to him. The Blue Team was confused.

Suddenly the two who had come out first left the other one and walked towards the Blue Team. The other stayed in his place with his back towards the Blue Team. Once the two companions got close to the blue team the semi black man said "Hey are you guys the Blue Team?"

Both Mimi and Vivi looked at Beruche, it was clear they appointed her second in command. Beruche sighed and then looked at the man clearly on the eyes "Yes we're the Blue Team!"

"Damn! Seifer isn't going to like this."

"Impossible!" yelled the woman, her scream was enough to make Vivi leap behind Beruche.

"What's wrong?" Mimi asked.

"Well you see we were ask to fight this Blue Team, we come here all charged up ready to fight some really tough guys, but then we arrive and see a blonde pretty girl, a cowgirl with a plant and a... thing... with an old hat. This is not his sort of game ya know?"

"Inappropriate!!"

Beruche got mad "Inappropriate the fact that you haven't even presented yourselves."

"Oh yeah sorry, all this made us nervous ya know? I'm Raijin and here this is my partner Fujin, she not the talkative type ya know?"

"Well I'm Beruche, that's Mimi and Palmon and this one behind me is Vivi. We don't care what you think about us, where here to beat you for a badge!!"

"You tell em!" Mimi yelled, but then Raijin stared at her and she tried to hide behind Palmon, which was very hard to say the least.

"Well I guess we have no choice, we have to fight ya know? but our main man Seifer doesn't feel like fighting people like you so he's not participating."

"Well he'll have no choice once we're through with you!"

"I like your attitude ya know? Let's get this thing then!"

Fujin and Raijin walked towards Seifer and whispered something to him, they then turned around and took a fighting stance.

Beruche turned around and whispered to her team. "We have to take advantage of the situation."

Vivi asked "What advantage?"

"First, they don't think much of us so they might put their guard down, Vivi I want you to act so scare of them that you'll do nothing, but take the time to focus your magic to dish out some powerful spells."

"Um... what about you?"

"Only two of them will fight so we won't have to worry about a disadvantage in number. Palmon, you fight them head on and I'll try to do what I can to back you up."

"Oki!" Palmon said "I'll show them what I can do!"

"Right! Let's do it then."

The Blue Team turned to face Fujin and Raijin, Vivi stood behind and stepped back, he trembled a bit and almost fell backwards.

Minako's comment: "Is Vivi really acting?"

Fujin and Raijin smiled, then Fujin made a gesture with her hand to let them know to come and show them what they got. Mimi was about to raise her digivice but Beruche whispered to wait till the last second. Mimi understood and yelled "Go Palmon!"

Palmon ran alone towards Fujin and Raijin, the couple only laughed out loud ready to knock the little plant all the way to the stratosphere. The moment Palmon raised her arms Fujin and Raijin took a step forward to attack.

Beruche yelled "NOW!!"

Mimi raised her digivice and yelled "Palmon!!"

"Palmon digivolves at... Togemon!"

Fujin and Raijin didn't have time to respond when they were both hit on the chest with a boxing glove and sent crashing towards the far end wall. Beruche and Mimi grabbed each others hands and started jumping with joy "We got them!!"

Seifer didn't' even turn around, he just said "Aren't you done yet?"

Raijin said "Hey Seifer! The little plant isn't so little anymore ya know?"

"Cactus!" yelled Fujin.

"I don't care what happened to it, just finish them quickly so we can get going."

"Ok, we can do it." Raijin said, he then stood up along with Fujin and both charged at Togemon, they suddenly stopped with when they crashed into something and fell back. They suddenly found themselves inside some sort of crystal ball. The crystal ball suddenly raised from the ground and remained suspended in air.

Mimi was confused but then saw Beruche had her arms raised "You did that?"

"Yeah, neat truck huh?"

"Yeah!"

Raijin and Fujin started to hit the sphere and where already starting to break it. Togemon decided to help and hit the ball from beneath sending it crashing to the ceiling, both Fujin and Raijin fell to the ground and tried to land on their feet, only the ground was covered with ice and they slipped and feel on their backs.

"Ouch! that had to hurt." Mimi said.

"That was the point." Beruche said.

"True, hope they give up for their own good."

Seifer still didn't turn around, he said "You two call yourself SeeDs?"

Fujin and Raijin were terribly angry, even more so when Beruche yelled "You shouldn't judge by appearances ya know!?"

Then Mimi yelled "Humiliated!"

Fujin raised her arms and yelled "Tornado!"

Suddenly there was a blast of wind that blue all the blue Team all the way back to the glass wall. Togemon barely avoided landing on top of the others.

Mimi held her head and said "Ow! What does this mean?"

Beruche responded while standing up "The element of surprise is over, and something tells me it's their turn.

No sooner had Beruche stood up that she was struck with a bolt of lightning that sent her crashing against the mirror again. Mimi went to check on her "Beruche!"

Beruche got on her knees "That hurt!! if there's a type of attack I hate is an electric attack. Just then Beruche noticed Raijin raising his hand and Beruche leaped to get herself and Mimi out of the line of fire, they were barely able to dodge his second attack.

Togemon stood up and yelled "Needle spray!!"

Fujin and Raijin saw a barrage of needles heading towards them, they both yelled "Protect!!" and a force field covered their bodies, the needles just bounced off their bodies.

Vivi who was just recovering yelled "Firaga!!"

Both Fujin and Raijin were thrown back by a fire explosion. When Raijin stood he said "Man! The little guys has some powerful magic ya know? I've never seen anybody pull of a spell like that!" They both stood up ready to continue fighting. Togemon, Beruche and Vivi regrouped and faced them directly, the battle had barely begun.

Ranma-chan had fallen asleep on top of Kari. As good willed as Kari was she could no longer stand Ranma-chan's weight on top of her. She wondered if Ranma-chan was back to normal.

Gatomon saw this and said "Let me try something." She grabbed her tail and used it tickle Ranma-chan's noise. At first she only twitched her nose but then she really started to move her face around.

All of a sudden Ranma-chan leaped away from Kari and yelled "Etemon!!" she looked around and saw that she was no longer in battle. "What happened?"

Kari stood and stretched "According to Dende you did something called the Neko-ken, what is that?"

Ranma-chan now understood, she didn't like using that technique but it came useful every now and then. "Is the technique my dad taught me, that's the reason I'm afraid of cats in the first place." She felt something rubbing her back and saw that it was ponyta. "I did win didn't I?"

Kari nodded, Mr. Popo who had just stood there opened the door and told Dende that Ranma-chan had awaken.

"Where are the others?"

Gatomon responded "They're fighting another guardian, since you decided to rest on Kari we weren't allowed to participate."

Before Ranma-chan could say anything Dende came in and said "Oh you're back to your senses."

Ranma-chan felt embarrassed "Guess I did."

"You were great out there, you really showed us what you can do."

"Really, well I am the master of anything goes martial arts you know."

Kari interrupted "How are the other doing?"

Dende frowned "They're not doing very well, they're having a tough time and they're only fighting two of them. They are doing what they kind, but without someone like Ranma here they can't follow up any of their attacks."

"That will teach Beruche it's not easy being captain." Ranma-chan said.

"Ranma..." Dende said "What would you say if I gave you a chance to bring out your true potential."

"What are you talking about?"

"Back in the palace we have something called the room of spirit and time, once you enter you find yourself in a whole new world with almost nothing on it, the gravity is 10 stronger, the heat is intolerable, the air is thin, it's an awful place to be, but a great place to train."

"Yes, I see what you mean. You would have me train there?"

"Yes, but I warn you, no human has ever been able to stay more than a few hours inside. It's that hard to be there."

"Sign me up! That sounds interesting. Once the Ultimate Challenge is over..."

"Um... you see the offer only stands at this moment. One year inside and you'll come out a new man."

Gatomon protested "You want Ranma to just leave now? You're asking the Blue Team to drop out."

Dende moved his head signaling no "It's called the room of spirit and time because time goes extremely fast inside, one year inside is just a day outside. Besides even though Kamisama's palace is miles from here because the connection it has with this place you won't be disqualified for separating, as long as you don't get far away from this palace. Ranma is the one who must think this carefully because he's the one spending a year in there."

Kari looked at Ranma "Wait till the others come back, you can leave just like that."

Ranma-chan looked at Kari "It's only a day, and we're almost home free, surely they'll understand."

Gatomon looked at Ranma-chan "You can't be serious!"

"I am! Let's get going."

Dende nodded "If you'll follow me back inside this room we'll be transported back to Kamisama's palace. Kari tell the others that they can feel themselves at home here, we'll be back tomorrow." Dende went back inside the center room followed by Mr. Popo.

Ranma-chan was about to walk in when Kari said "Please Ranma, don't go."

Gatomon stood in front of Kari "He's being selfish Kari, you can't do anything about it."

Ranma-chan looked away and said "See you 'tomorrow'" and then walked inside.

Once they left Kari asked Gatomon "Why did you let him go Gatomon?"

Gatomon looked very serious "Have you noticed how Dende has been promoting individualism in Ranma? He asked him to fight a guardian alone for no good reason, he tells him how great he's doing and how bad the team is doing, and then he asks he to train on his own."

"You're right, but why is Dende doing that?"

"I don't know, but it's not good for us."

"What are we going to tell the others?"

"The truth, don't blame yourself because of this."

"Ok."

Just then there was a knock on the door. Gatomon pushed Kari away so that the cold wouldn't hit her as she opened the door. Gatomon saw non other than Team Rocket outside. They both had blue faces and had they're arms crossed around their chests.

"Prepapappapare fofofofor ttttttroubbbble..."

"Andddddd mamamamake itttttit dodododoubbbble..."

Then they both fell like statues right at Gatomon's feet, followed by Meowth who had been standing right besides them.

For a moment Gatomon thought about leaving them outside, but didn't really had the heart for it, and then again Kari would have non of that. She pulled Jessie then James and then Meowth inside and close the door.

Kari walked over towards them "They must be freezing, how terrible."

"How they get all the way down here anyway?" Gatomon asked "We were transported here."

"We'll ask them later." Kari said, she called for Ponyta who reluctantly walked towards them. "Can you use your fire to warm them up."

"Poneee..."

"Not too hot please."

Ponyta used a very small flamethrower to warm them up.

Togemon and Raijin were going at it in a full brawl. Togemon had the size advantage but Raijin was just as strong and faster. Togemon kept jabbing and Raijin kept dodging.

"Thundara!" yelled Raijin. Togemon was hit by a bolt of lighting and was almost knocked out, but she resisted and continued fighting.

"Coconuts Punch!" Togemon started to send a series of fast fists at Raijin, her technique wasn't much too different from Ranma's. Raijin was unable to dodge so many jabs and was basically pounded. He however was able to stay standing even after Togemon had finished her attack.

Beruche was having a hard time avoiding Fujin's attacks, she was faster than what she looked like. Beruche had to resort to teleporting to avoid her attacks. Vivi was trying to take the opportunity to hit her with his magic but she moved so fast that he wasn't able to target her.

Fujin got tired of chasing Beruche around and yelled "Tornado!" both Beruche and Vivi were swallowed by a relatively small tornado and were spinning around, after about a minute of spinning both were shot into the right wall.

Vivi stood up and yelled "Drain!!" he then started to absorb Fujin's strength. After the attack Vivi recovered completely while Fujin lost a considerable amount of strength. Beruche could barely get up though.

Mimi stood in the corner trying to get of the way of all those attacks, unlike the other places they had fought guardians this one didn't leave her much room to stay away.

Seifer then violently turned around and swung his sword in the air several times "What the hell is taking so damn long!?" He noticed Raijin fighting Togemon and Fujin barely standing on her feet. "Guess I'll have to be the one to finish this quickly." He raised his arms and shot a fireball at Beruche.

Beruche never saw it coming, she was hit right on the chest and was knocked down by it's force.

Seifer didn't stop there, he started to run towards Beruche with his sword ready to strike.

Vivi noticed this and was about to help when a gust of air pushed him to the wall and kept him them.

Togemon was also able to noticed and decided to attack "Needle Spray!!"

Raijin and Fujin had to duck to avoid all those needles but Seifer did some excellent jump maneuvers to avoid the attack while still running.

Beruche was able to recover in the last second and teleported away before Seifer hit her with her sword. Seifer didn't waste a second and fired another fireball to his left. It hit Beruche right on and knocked her back.

"Beruche!!" Mimi yelled, she knew Seifer had target her to finish them one by one. She saw Beruche try to create a wall of ice around her but Seifer easily cut his way through. Beruche was able to teleport in time but Seifer was quickly to identify her position again. Togemon and Vivi were busy with Fujin and Raijin.

Beruche tried creating an ice sword like she had done a couple of days ago. She took a wild swing at Seifer who did the same, by the time Beruche had finished her swing she noticed she only had an inch of sword left.

Seifer attacked again and took a big swing, Beruche tried to avoid but she didn't have much energy left, Seifer's sword was able to make a cut on her left thigh. She fell on her side and a puddle of blood was created quickly.

Mimi could see the drops of blood falling from the tip of Seifer's sword. She screamed "Beruche!!" she was afraid Seifer would actually killed her. Out of mere desperation she took out a badge and yelled "Togemon!!!!" the badge's glow became stronger.

"Togemon ultradigivolves to... Lillymon!!"

Lillymon knew exactly why she had digivolved, she flew past Raijin and had been too fast for him to stop her. "Flower Cannon!!"

Seifer didn't see it coming, he was hit in the back by a blast of energy and was sent flying forward above Beruche who held her hand over her wound.

Raijin said "Hey!!! Thundara!!"

Lillymon was able to dodge the bolt of lighting and attacked quickly "Flower Cannon!!"

Raijin barely dodged the attack, he charged at Lillymon and threw a series of punches, unfortunately for him she was now too fast for him.

Vivi was still doing his best to fight Fujin "Comet!"

Fujin was not able to dodge the attack and was hit with a small meteor. She didn't have the strength to fight anymore so she just laid on the ground.

Seifer recovered from Lillymon's attack and was ready to strike Beruche. Beruche however had found the strength to get up, her left leg was almost completely covered in blood.

"Want to call it quits before I do something you'd regret?" said Seifer.

"Call in it quits is what I would regret." responded Beruche. She raised her hand and froze Seifer's feet. She then let herself fall.

"Flower Cannon!!"

Seifer hadn't seen Lillymon behind Beruche, because his feet were stuck to the ground he wasn't able to dodge the attack, he did however shot a fireball which intercepted the attack.

Lillymon had let her guard down against Raijin and she was hit in the back with a bolt of electricity. Fujin on the other hand had left his guard down towards Vivi and he was struck with a large shard of Ice. Raijin tried to get up but he didn't find the energy to do it.

Mimi saw the road clear and ran towards Beruche, once she reached her she said "Are you ok?". She was afraid that if they didn't finish this quickly Beruche would bleed to death.

Beruche just said "We just have to beat Seifer..."

Mimi and Beruche hadn't noticed Seifer had freed himself. He charged to attack them but when he was in their reach he decided to just run by them. He took advantage of Lillymon who was just recovering and took a big swing with his sword. Lillymon screamed as some black liquid escaped her body, Seifer didn't stop however, he fired a blast from his sword and Lillymon was blasted towards the glass wall. When she fell to the ground she turned into a Tanemon, but her body was a bit brownish and she was unconscious.

"Tanemon!!" Mimi yelled, she tried to ran towards her Digimon but Seifer blocked her knocked her to the ground.

Seifer smiled at Mimi, he said "You were stronger than you looked, but you had no chance against me."

Suddenly he heard Vivi yelled "Don't you dare hurt Mimi like you hurt the others!!". When he turned around he saw him surrounded in a flash of bright light, when the light faded Vivi had now a silver glow around his body and his hat now stood completely upright.

Vivi yelled "Firaga! Thundaga!!"

Seifer tried to block the attack with his sword, he was barely able to withstand the fire explosion, but the bolt of electricity knocked him all the way to the wall."

"Blizzaga! Comet!!"

Seifer got trapped in a pilar of ice and was then hit by the comet. He was barely able to stand on his knees after that.

"Bio! Flare!!"

Seifer suddenly turned green and he could feel his strength quickly leaving him. He was totally unprepared from the second attack, a huge blast of fire hit him and he was completely blown away.

After that there was another flash of light that surrounded Vivi and he want to being normal.

Fujin and Raijin both disappeared after Seifer did, and then everything became black.

When Mimi and Vivi awoke they found themselves on the other side of the glass wall. Vivi sat down on the floor feeling weak from all the magic he had to use. Mimi found a couple of items on the ground in front of them, a badge and a small pouch. Almost instinctively she went to the pouch and opened, luckily she found what she wanted, senzu beams. She quickly gave one to Tanemon and one to Beruche.

In a second Tanemon recovered her green color and even digivolved to Palmon.

Beruche's wound was instantly closed and she quickly sat up.

Mimi quickly hugged Palmon "Oh Palmon are you ok!?"

"I'm feeling great Mimi! you don't have to worry."

Beruche had a sweatdrop "I'm ok too, but you probably know that..."
