The current leader of the Red Ribbon army was having a meeting with General Garth, Colonel Legstrong, Dr. Izumi and Mr. Kuoto. There was also a screen in the room showing General Magenta's face on it. The leader of the Red Ribbon was angry at General Magenta.

"Why hasn't Jayne been taken yet!? We have no time to lose."

General Magenta looked pretty scared "I'm sorry sir, there was a terrible mistake with the magitek pilots, and then there was those strangers that happened to be there. We couldn't attack yesterday because Jayne warped into a very advance state preventing us from making our move, but today is gone back to a more primitive state so we'll have that city occupied in no time!"

"Do you understand what will happen if you fail?"

"Yes sir! that's very clear."

"Just yesterday Teromon was THAT close to getting his hands on Sailor Moon, had it happened things could have been... unpleasant."

"I'm sorry sir!"

"Quit apologizing and get back to work!"

"Yes sir!"

The screen that was showing general Magenta had turned off.

"Colonel, have you positioned your men in the second point of impact?"

"Everything is sit sir! Unlike the first point of impact the second will happen in a desolate area."

"General Garth?"

"There's only a small village near the point of impact, we don't even have to worry about them."

"General Magenta was just as sure of himself and look what happened, you better not be coming back with just excuses."

"No sir."

"What about General Bronze?"

The Colonel looked a bit nervous, he wasn't sure about Bronze. "I'm sure Bronze and her men will have possession any moment now."

"Send the Turks there to keep an eye on her."

"Yes sir! what about the last point of impact?"

"I'll take care of that one personally."

"I see."

Dr. Izumi let out a small laugh.

"What do you find so funny Dr?"

Dr. Izumi adjusted his glasses "By the time you have everything setup, Teromon will have become to powerful to be destroyed, even by your precious weapons."

"This had gone by more smoothly had we kept that creature and controlled it's growth, I'll never understand why you told my men not to retrieve it after it got stolen."

"You could have never controlled him, not in a million years. It has been better this way."

"Because of this our schedule has been thrown off balance, time has now become our enemy."

"Why did you have this man do such a dangerous thing?" asked Mr. Kuoto. "He's nothing but trouble!"

"The good Dr. might be a bit... special in his way of working, but there was no other man capable of performing such a task."

"Made me spend a lot of money, much more than what I had initially agreed."

"Once this is over, you'll have no use for money, you'll have everything you want."

Dr. Izumi thought 'Once this is over, it's over for all of us.'

Teromon had spent the night somewhere in the jungle north of New Alexandria. He was still hurting because of last night's battle. "They, like all the others before them abuse their power and number to obtain what they want. They refuse to accept the to torture that I've endure, but in the end they'll have no choice. I'm sure the very nature of all the worlds will do it's best to stop the revolution, but it will all be for naught. They'll know what it feels to be left behind, to be powerless when others rise above them and crush them just because their very existence is unimportant to the ongoing process. A process which has not purpose in the first place, just to continue itself. I must rest my wounds and then continue my raise of power." Teromon hid in the darkness of the jungle.

Sora was standing on the streets of what looked like an old British city, people were walking around minding their own business. Biyomon was nowhere to be seen and Sora looked a bit more serious than usual.

"Welcome to the Ultimate Challenge, the show that... may not be just a show anymore. Things got pretty wild last night with the fight against Teromon. The Yellow Team is here in the town of Jayne, yes this is Jayne, this place has something weird going on in it. Anyway, the Yellow Team may not know of last night's incident, but the way things are going it won't be long before they are caught up in it as well. The Red Ribbon army is just outside the city and they might attack any moment now. Anyway, let's see how they are, this has been Sora reporting for the Ultimate Challenge."

Ash was trying to wake up Ryoga, but he wasn't waking up.

"Ryoga! wake up!"

"zzz..."

Ash shook him to get him up, but he was a heavy sleeper.

Pikachu was right by Ash's side, he wanted to help. "Pika?"

"Sigh.... we have no choice."

"Pika! PIKACHUUUU!!" Pikachu shocked Ryoga with all his might.

"AHHHH!!!" Ryoga leaped out of bed in an instant. "I'm up! I'm up!"

"It's about time!"

"What's the matter?"

"Don't you see?"

"See what?"

"Where are we?"

Ryoga looked around, they were in a room with a wooden floor, yellow walls and a wooden ceiling; in it was only two beds and a small table. There was a window and a wooden door in the far end corner. "Looks like an ordinary room to me."

"Yes, but we weren't in an ordinary room last night!"

Just then Ryoga remembered, the room they had been last night was kind of circular, almost dome like, there were no door or windows, one would kind of just walk in, plus the upper part could be transparent if they wanted it to be, letting them see the sky. There were no beds but some anti-gravity fields that held them in the air, it had been weird at first but were actually quiet comfy once they got used to them. Ryoga wondered what had happened to that place.

"Where are the others?"

"I don't know, I've just woke up and haven't searched outside."

"Let's go look for them."

Last night the team had gone into 3 different rooms. Ryoga, Ash and Pikachu had gone into one; Goku, Izzy and Tentomon had gone to the second and Freya to the third. When Ryoga, Ash and Pikachu opened the door they saw a corridor with 2 other doors and a stairway leading down at the end. They walked towards the door and opened it, the first thing they saw inside was Izzy still sleeping on his bed, Tentomon was by his side and his laptop was laying on the ground besides his bed. Just then they were startled by a voice.

"Good morning!"

They looked around and saw Goku standing by the window.

"Goku!" Ryoga said.

"Ryoga!" Goku responded.

"What is going on?"

"What do you mean?"

"What? can't you tell what's wrong?"

"Ryoga..." Ash said "a moment ago you couldn't tell what was wrong."

Ryoga had a sweatdrop, but other than that ignored Ash.

"Yeah, the place is a bit different no?"

"A bit?" Ash asked.

"Well, I woke up a while ago. I've done a little exploring, everything looks different, but in a way still the same."

Both Ash and Ryoga looked at Goku, their faces showed that they didn't have a clue what Goku was talking about.

"It's hard to explain, remember how our rooms were close to each other last night, yet are still close now? The whole city is like that, everything is kinda in the same place."

"Are you saying we're still in the same place, but this place has changed?" Ryoga said.

"I don't know, but I think so."

"Maybe we should ask Izzy." Ash suggested.

"Please don't do that." said another voice, it was Tentomon who had woken up. "Izzy was awake almost all night, once again he started to check that disk Tai gave him, but I can tell you that Goku is right."

"Pika?"

"How do you know?"

Tentomon flew towards Izzy's computer, he pressed a few keys (which was a bit hard without fingers) and then showed the screen at the guys. The screen showed their map of the island, and like Goku had said, they were still in the same place.

"Then what happened?" Ryoga asked.

Everybody was silent for a moment, the silence was broken when Freya walked in. "There you are!? Where are we?"

They took a moment to explain to Freya what they know, which wasn't much.

"I see, well the only thing we can do is have a look around and see if we can find anything. If by noon we don't find anything we wake up Izzy and leave this place."

The team agreed and left Tentomon with Izzy, once outside they noticed something peculiar, people were still dressed the same way that they did yesterday, at least that hadn't changed. They divided in two groups. Ryoga, Ash and Pikachu were going to look around the city while Freya and Goku were going to search near the center of the city.

Goku and Freya noticed that there were a lot of people gathering in the center of the city, there was a platform set up in the very center and everyone was sitting in front of it.

"What do you think this is about?" asked Freya.

"It could be a show!" said Goku excitedly "Let's watch!"

"Goku we don't have time for this."

"It could be a clue!"

"Um... alright."

They walked up and found a couple of available spaces not too far away from stage, they waited for a couple of minutes and saw that many more people were arriving. Just then a man walked up to stage and everyone applauded, the man look very extravagant, he was wearing a black suit with a purple cape, he had a short brown beard and was bald on top. After the applause had ended he spoke to the people. "Greetings my dear citizens of Jayne, now we all know why we're here. We're celebrating the 130th anniversary of the holy battle."

There was an instant cheer, everyone was happy.

"Now, let us proceed with our annual tradition."

Another man got on stage and handed a scroll to him, he then left the stage quietly.

"I have here the only copy of the diary of my great great great great grandfather, Gustav the first!"

There was another loud cheer.

"Now, like I've done in the past years, and like my ancestors did before me, I'm going to read to you the events of what happened that very day written by my great great great great grandfather. So that we shall not forget the terror lived by the citizens of Jayne on that very day, and the heroic actions of our heroes as well."

Once again there was a loud cheer.

"I have to warn you that if you have small children that you held them tight, as horrible as this sounds this is a part of our history that they must learn. Now, without delaying things any more, I shall begin."

Everyone became silent at that very moment, Goku and Freya wondered what was going on.

"I'm writing the events of today so that they shall never be forgotten, I am the only man brave enough to relive the events of today. Yet, I do not blame the people of Jayne for trying to forget about today's events, I myself had my doubts before deciding to write this. May the heavens have mercy on our peaceful town.

>Today started like any other day, the great townspeople of Jayne began their daily activities like we always did. Hard working and honest has always been our way of living, and I hope it remains that way. Nothing had prepared for what happened on that very day. I was taking a walk through my peaceful town, feeling proud of the society that we had created together, when suddenly I saw him, the evil lord Vivi!!"

The moment the word Vivi had been said there was a small commotion in the crowd, some children started to cry and their parents tried to calm then down. Freya was confused, was he talking about the same Vivi? Even though they had they're problems with the Blue Team, she still considered Vivi her friend and he was not the type to scare people like that. It took about a minute for the silence to return.

"Terror spread across our town faster than I could ever imagine, yet I still feel proud about my people who acted bravely. The women led the children to the safety of they're homes, the men grabbed anything that could have served as a type of weapon, ready to defend Jayne, even at the cost of their lives and maybe their very souls.

>I took a good look at lord Vivi, he was at least 3m tall, his face was covered in complete darkness, yet his eyes reflected the very deeps of hell, I had to turn away to protect my very soul. He looked at our people and began to laugh, he was ready for a feast of souls, he hungered for carnage, and enjoyed our terror. What was worse was that he came with his servants, forgive if my handwriting becomes somewhat messy but I can't stop my hand from shaking while I remember their looks. Two of them seemed to be their main henchman, both had female forms, and both had a snake hanging from the back of their heads. One of them, had a white long snake on her head as if born from the very hair on her head, those who got close to her were completely frozen to their very soul, I pray for them. Her look showed hate towards everything, yet she was probably the hungriest of them all. The other one had a smaller red snake coming out of her hair, yet I feel sure it was more poisonous of the two, that demon had a passion for destruction, anything that we built over the years was to be undone by this monster who's thirst for destruction was unlimited. There were two other smaller demons with them as well, both female as well, they're purpose were to control the monsters they brought with them. Although they were small they were no less terrifying, the smallest of them all had nails as long as my fingers, and sharp enough to cut metal easily, her teeth were sharp and she probably used them to rip away the flesh of her victims after they were killed by her monsters, her eyes were black, like bottomless pits. The other one was even more horrid, her skin was white, like a ghost, her look seemed sad but was it was just to fool those with a kind soul, the moment they let their guard down she would stick out her tongue that extended endlessly until it hit her victim and proceeded to suck his soul without killing him. The poor victim was left without any feeling or thought, doomed to an eternity of darkness. The monsters they brought with them were just as horrible, one of them disguised as ordinary pokemon called ponyta, it almost managed to fool us but his flames gave him away, they were the same flames found in the very pits of Hell!!"

A small commotion started again, Goku and Freya just looked at each other.

"How would he know?" Goku said "has he been there? I don't remember any pits of fire, there was this lake of blood though, and it was actually very cold at the bottom."

Freya was left wondering if Goku had actually been there, but decided to keep listening instead of asking questions. Once everyone calmed down the man continued reading.

"This monster tried to burn the whole town by itself, chaos was its specialty. Another monster looked like a cat, white as snow, but there was nothing pure about it, it had claws of a lion and used it to shred everything and everyone that got in its way, nothing but death could be found where she had been. And lastly there was a green monster that was the worst off all three, it looked small and less powerful than the other two, but suddenly grew until it reached the skies, covered in needles she started stomping and destroying everything, and her needles would shoot out of it's body killing those who were around. With all of this it appeared the town of Jayne was doomed, we had no hope left. Yet we were determined to keep fighting to the very end, even if it meant our very souls, we were no cowards. It looked like it was the end until suddenly our heroes Jessie and James appeared!"

There was a loud cheer, everyone started to chant the names Jessie and James repeatedly for about a minute and then became quiet again to continue listening.

"Yes, a couple of knights sent from the very heavens appeared, our prayers had been answered. Light coming from above fell upon them, showing them off as the holy knights that they were. They stood against the terrible Lord Vivi and showed no signs of fear. The demons attacked the knights, but using their holy powers they quickly defeated them, yet Lord Vivi would not return to the deeps of hell so easily. The holy knights captured him and his execution would take place immediately. The demons were sent to our dungeons to follow, and the holy knights finally showed themselves to us. I had the privilege to meet the heroes face to face, and I'll feel proud about it till the day I die. James, with short blue hair and a smile as white as white could be, heroic like no man has ever been, handsome, strong, intelligent, noble, that's the true James. Then there was the beautiful Jessie, who's hair was long and red, her kindness was un limitless, her aura felt like being heaven, so pure, so innocent, yet so mighty. The two heroes asked for a couple of things, things that were so unselfish that we acceded without hesitation, they only wanted one of the demon's monsters, they probably wanted to try to save it's soul, even in the depths of evil they wanted to try to find a bit of hope! how noble! They also wanted the Red Ribbon army to establish itself here, they were probably an army sent by heaven to protect us from any other demons that would try to invade our peaceful town. We wanted to give them everything, yet they only gave us more. But then, the unimaginable occurred! the demons escaped!"

Once again there was some commotion in the crowd, but it ended quickly.

"Our great heroes went into battle, but the first fight had drain some of their power. This time the powers of hell were a bit too much for our heroes, they even lost their armors during the battle. They left towards the sky, probably back to the heavens to send us more help. The demons freed their lord and the monsters. Chaos engulfed our peaceful town again. We were doomed, the demons were destroying everything, and to make things worse three more demons arrived from the air. The new demons started to dance with the first ones, creating destruction everywhere, they celebrated the fall of us, the noble people of Jayne.

>But another miracle happened, the great Red Ribbon army, the defenders that Jessie and James told us that would come arrived! We would surely be saved! The demons fought the army, but the many men of heaven fought bravely and with honor, not giving in to the powers of all the demons. The battle was fierce, but the heavens would not allow the fall of it's army, an angel appeared above the battle, might as mighty could be. It had 6 wings on it's back, showing off it's great power. The Red Ribbon army retired at the sight of this mighty angel, feeling confident that evil would finally be vanquished. The angel started to fight with the 3 demons that had arrived later. Mighty as he was, the demons were strong and outnumbered him. Our defender would not fail however, he called upon the powers of heaven which granted him even more power, he opened a gate and sent them to oblivion!

>Seeing the power of our mighty guardian, Lord Vivi and the rest of his demons decided to run away, never to be heard of again. The mighty angel disappeared as suddenly as he had appeared, but we're sure that he's still watching us, along with our heroes Jessie and James, protecting our city from the forces of evil. Let's us never forget this! for as long as the people of Jayne remain pure and noble, we shall never have to fear the evils from hell. Written by Gustav the first."

Everyone applauded and cheered, everyone stood up and suddenly a big celebration started, people started dancing, others sang a dedicated song to Jessie and James.

Freya and Goku stood up, they were very confused. Freya had to ask "Is it only me or did the description of the demons sounded a lot like the Blue Team, in a horrible demonic way."

"Um... I dunno," responded Goku "I didn't understand anything, I don't remember heaven being in war with hell, good guys just get sorted to heaven and bad go to hell, and I don't remember a lord Vivi in hell. Freezer and Cell probably wouldn't allow anybody to rule over them."

Freya didn't really understand what Goku was talking about, she decided that this story wasn't really important and started to look for any clues as to where a badge would be.

Ash and Ryoga where looking around the city, they both noticed the surroundings where not as 'perfect' as they had been yesterday. It was still a pretty sight, actually more normal than it had been yesterday.

"You know I don't think we'll find anything outside." Ash said.

"Pika!"

"Well you never know." Ryoga said "Let's at least have a look around."

"How could everything have changed so much overnight?"

"In this island nothings sounds weird anymore."

"Mew?" said a voice from behind.

Everybody turned around but didn't seen anything, Mew was floating right by their side, just barely outside of their field of view. As they moved he continued to float around them.

"But you know..." said Ryoga "we should admire the view."

"Yeah, it is kinda pretty."

"I mean look at all there is to appreciate. The mountains at the distance, the green grass, the tall trees, the blue sky, the giant robots, the flowers..."

"The giant robots?" Ash said, just then they noticed that a group of robot like tanks were placing themselves in strategic points around the city, and a group of soldiers were walking toward the city. They quickly hid behind a couple of trees.

"Who are they?" asked Ash.

"Can't you see?" said Ryoga "They have carry the emblem of the Red Ribbon."

"Damn! What are they doing here?"

"They must want to attack the city"

"How are we going to stop them?"

"Not hiding, that's for sure." Ryoga looked around "Let's try to get back in town without being noticed." He started to slowly walk back towards the city, Ash and Pikachu quickly followed.

They were about to make it back when suddenly they heard a metal clash near them, they turned around and saw one of the robots standing right behind them. "Hehe, those heat sensors did come in handy."

"Pikachu!" Ash yelled "Thunder shock."

"Pika!!" Pikachu attacked with all he had. The robot was hit and it's system went crazy, it started to shoot beams everywhere.

"Ack! This thing is out of control!"

Ash, Pikachu and Ryoga quickly got out of the way before a beam hit them, unfortunately for them the crazy robot caught the attention of many.

Many soldiers went to check on the crazy Magitek Armor, shortly after they arrived they went to look for Ash and Ryoga, who didn't have many places to hide. They all lifted their guns and one of the yelled "Come out or we'll shoot you."

Ash and Ryoga didn't have a choice and left their hiding place. Ash left Pikachu behind hoping they would forget about him. No such luck, since they also told Pikachu to leave it's hiding place.

General Magenta didn't take long to arrive, he took a good look at them and recognized them as the two of the members of the Ultimate Challenge, he had been informed about the incidents in the desert fortresses.

Ryoga yelled "What are you doing here!?"

"None of your business!" yelled General Magenta "shoot them now!"

Ryoga, Ash and Pikachu closed their eyes expecting the worst, but suddenly they heard many shouts of confusion and shock. They opened their eyes and saw all the soldiers' guns floating in the air. The Magitek armors were dancing around while their pilots yelled in panic.

"What is going on?" asked Ash.

"Don't ask! Act!" Ryoga immediately ran to attack a soldier and kicked him on the face. When the others saw this they attacked Ryoga together.

"Pikachu!" Ash yelled.

"Pika!! PIKACHUU!" Pikachu used his electric attack on all the soldiers surrounding Ryoga, Ryoga himself had to leap out of the way to avoid getting shocked.

Many soldiers then took their attention to Ash and decided to attack him. Ash took out three pokeballs and threw them in the air "Chikorita, Squirtle and Dragonair! I choose you!"

"Chiko!!"

"Squirtle!"

"Dreeee!!"

"Chikorita! Razor Leaf! Squirtle! Hydro Pump! Dragonair! um... Twister!"

Chikorita attacked with his deadly razor leaf attack, leaving many soldiers with cuts all around their body. Squirtle leaped into the air, got in his shell and spawn around throwing water in all directions, preventing soldiers from getting near Ash. Dragonair spawn around until she got dizzy and fell stunned.

"Dragonair!" Ash had to recall her, he looked around trying to figure out where the help had come from. Then he saw him floating above them, it was a Mew. Ash had only seen Mew once when Mewtwo had planned to take over the world, but his memory of the events had been erased and he thought it was his first time watching a Mew. "MEW!! WOW!!"

General Magenta also saw Mew, he thought about the events that happened the day before yesterday and realized what had stopped their bullets from killing Togemon. He had received orders that they were to capture the chosen ones if they were to find them during their assign missions. Unfortunately it was floating above ground along with their weapons, he didn't have anything to catch him with. His thoughts where interrupted when he realized his men were being beat up by one man and a couple of pokemon.

Ryoga continued to dodge punches left and right, he noticed a bunch of soldiers got together and were about to charge at the same time. Ryoga got his hands together and yelled "Shi-shi-hou-kodan!!" but only succeeded in making a small green ball of energy that popped on the palms of his hands. This confused Ryoga and gave the soldiers an opening, luckily for Ryoga Pikachu shocked them before they could attack. He then continued punching and kicking all those who got close enough.

Mew was enjoying the show, he didn't notice something coming to him and lightning fast speed and grabbing him. Before Mew could realize it he was inside some type of crystal ball. He saw a short man with black hair that stood straight up. Vegeta had caught him, he had a smile on his face. "You know, I thought you were going to be harder to catch."

"Mew?"

"Don't look at me like that, I'm actually doing you a favor!" Vegeta looked down, he saw the guns falling down and the Magitek armors stopped dancing. "What are those bastards doing here? What do they want with Jayne?" He then saw Ryoga and Ash regrouping because the soldiers where starting to pick up their guns. "Those two were going around with Kakarot, I'll let him do the dirty work. Right now I have to take you with me."

"Mew..."

"I'll just make sure they don't finish them off at this moment."

Ash recalled his Pokemon, and along with Ryoga and Pikachu started to run away. The soldiers had picked up their guns and were aiming at them when suddenly blast of energy started to rain from the sky. Soldiers screamed in agony as many where hit right on and evaporated on the spot, others where still wounded by the attacks. With all the commotion Ryoga, Ash and Pikachu where able to run back to town.

They ran until they reached and alley and walked in to catch their breath.

"What was that all about?" asked Ash.

"I don't know, but we sure were lucky."

"We have to find the others!"

"Right, just give me a sec." Ryoga had to rest a moment, but he then started thinking about his technique, why hadn't it worked? He was in a very dangerous situation and was definitely scared and resentful towards his enemies, what went wrong then? but then he started thinking, was he really being resentful? no he hadn't, he felt confident battling along Ash and was feeling pretty sure of himself at the moment. Was that like Goku felt when he fought? no, Goku's feelings were probably a lot more passionate, but something had changed none the less. It was good and all, but the Shi-shi-hou-kodan had become useless to him for it.

"Ryoga?" Ash said "are you ok?"

"Pika?"

Ash and Pikachu's words brought Ryoga back to reality. "Oh... sorry. Let's go."

They got out of the alley, they looked back and where a bit surprised that the Red Ribbon army had not marched into town, they probably where re planning their strategy because of them. They ran towards the center of town looking for Goku and Freya, they didn't run for long for they were leaving the town center.

"Ash! Ryoga! what's wrong?" Freya asked.

"The Red Ribbon!" yelled Ash "they're outside town and are ready to invade?"

"What!?" yelled Goku.

"It's true!" Ryoga said "we barely escaped."

Freya and Goku looked at each other, they were both thinking the same thing. Somehow the story they heard had something to do with was happening. The Red Ribbon had been mentioned as an army from the heavens but they, especially Goku, knew they were far from being heavenly. Freya felt an awful feeling in her stomach, visions of the invasions of Burmecia and Cleyra appeared in her head. She remembered the pain that brought to her heart, because she had been powerless to stop it. She couldn't let something like that happen again. "We have to defend Jayne!"

"Freya?" Ryoga said, he noticed her expression had changed "are you ok?"

"I won't allow the innocent to suffer because of the ambitions of others."

"You're right Freya!" Goku said.

"Goku?"

"We won't allow it, you can count on me to the end!"

"Me too!" Ash said "I can't just stand still while this town is destroyed."

"I can't stand it either." Ryoga said "it's an unforgivable crime."

"See Freya?" Goku said "we're all as determined as you are. We've all learned a lot from each other during our travels, and right now I feel like we can do anything together."

Freya looked at Goku, then at Ash and Ryoga, and finally at Pikachu.

"Pika! Pikachu!" Pikachu look just as determined, despise his size he was willing to fight along Ash and his friends.

"You're right, I...we won't fail Jayne."

Suddenly they heard a voice yell "Guys!!" they looked around and saw Izzy and Tentomon running their way.

"Izzy!" Ash said just as Izzy was joining them "the Red Ribbon is about to invade Jayne!"

"Already?"

The rest of the Yellow Team said at the same time "Already??"

"Izzy?" Freya said "Did you know that the Red Ribbon was about to invade Jayne?"

"I learned some things last night."

"Do you know why they want to invade Jayne?"

"Sorta, but not exactly why."

"What about Jayne?" Ryoga asked "do you know what happened since yesterday?"

"I have an idea, let me explain. Ryoga, would you please hold my laptop for a moment?"

Ryoga nodded and Izzy put the laptop on his arms, he opened it and turned it on. When it was ready Izzy started to type some commands and suddenly there was a graph on the computer. Izzy drew a straight horizontal line. "Imagine this is time, running as a straight line for us, this is not really how time works, but for the sake of simplicity let's imagine it like this."

Everyone nodded, but where not sure what he meant.

"For some reason unknown to me, time is Jayne is completely deformed." Izzy started to twist the line in a crazy manner, making all sorts of curves and intersections.

Ash said "It looks like my Christmas lights right after I take them out to put them on the tree, all tangled."

"Yeah, something like that." Izzy said "time in Jayne is non linear." Izzy drew a new line, once again straight "Our time is still straight and only follows Jayne's time line for brief moments, this moments last a day, and then our time line then skips to another point in the time line of Jayne, so to us while it has only been a day to them it may have been hundreds or thousands years of time, and it could be in the future, or as in today's case the past."

"So what are you saying Izzy?" Freya said "that this town changes time period every day?"

"Exactly!"

"But why doesn't it appear on the map?" Ash asked "at any time this is Jayne."

"Time is unlimited, Jayne's existence is not. Tomorrow Jayne could even disappear, and we could find dinosaurs instead."

"What's weird about dinosaurs?" Goku asked.

Everyone looked at Goku, they didn't know that where he came from dinosaurs were as normal as regular animals.

"This explains a lot." Freya said "the Blue Team has been here before us, that's why they're in Jayne's history."

Izzy nodded "Exactly, they must have been here when Jayne's time was even earlier than it is now."

"But I don't get it." Goku said "the Blue Team is not as they say, and the Red Ribbon coming from the heavens?"

"Well, history can be distorted by man. After all, it's a matter of perspective."

"Why is the Red Ribbon invading Jayne?" Ryoga asked.

"We've already spent to much time." Freya said "We can hear that later, right now we must plan or counterattack."

"Right!" Goku said.

"Luckily this town is on the northwestern tip of the island, half of Jayne is surrounded by water. That leaves us less flanks to cover."

"So what will we do?" Ryoga asked.

"How are they armed?"

"They are mostly armed soldiers," Ash said "but they have some odd looking tanks that look more like robots, those must have some mayor firepower."

"Don't worry about it." Goku said "just let me use a badge and I'll take care off all of them."

"Goku..." Freya said "instead of relying on the power of the badge why don't you rely on us? we need to save the badges for when we're left out of choices."

"I guess you're right."

Sora's comment: "Notice that while the Red and Blue team are running scarce of working badges, the Yellow Team is doing a good job of saving them?"

"We need to get the town folk to safety."

"But how will we make them listen to us?" Ash asked.

"Ash, I don't know, but I ask that you do it."

"Me!? Why?"

"I think you and Pikachu may have the best chance to reach them."

"Ok... I'll try." Ash said.

"We don't have much time, luckily almost everyone is gathered at the center of town, get going."

"Ok, I'm on it!" Ash ran towards the center of town.

"My bet is that those tanks Ash talked about hold most of their firepower, if we destroy them the soldiers will not continue their attack. Our best chance is to attack fast. We'll split up to try to cover as much possible perimeter as we can."

Everyone nodded, they organized themselves as fast as possible.

Ash and Pikachu arrived at the center of town, the celebration was still going on and everyone were enjoying themselves. Ash figured that maybe if the could convince the leader of Jayne that it would be easier to convince everyone else, he noticed a man who was dressed in the most extravagant manner, he was talking to a small crowd about the greatness of his family and how they had led Jayne to greatness. Ash figured it was him, so he ran to tell him about the invasion, he pushed some people out of the way because he was on a hurry, but before he could reach the man an woman got on his way. Ash tried to go around her but she wouldn't let him, he took a good look at her, she was wearing a gray dress, it was probably the dullest dress Ash had ever seen, the woman looked around her forties, she had black hair but with many gray hairs scattered around, she wore glasses and had a look of anger on her face, yet it was a calm type of anger, Ash had never seen an expression like that. "Could you please let me pass? I'm in a hurry."

"I can see that, were you planning to talk to our great leader Gustav VI?"

"Yes! it's very important."

"The great Gustav VI is a man of the people, he listens to all."

"That's great! now will you let me talk to him?"

"Wait! My family has served his family for 4 generations now, it is my duty to assist him, if everybody walked up to him to tell him about his problems then the great Gustav VI wouldn't have enough time for anything else."

"But this is an emergency!"

"That's what they all say! Now now, I only have to ask you a couple of things before you can see him."

"Oh.. ok, but please hurry."

"Very well..." the woman took out a sheet of paper, adjusted her glasses and then asked Ash. "Please choose the option the best describes your reason for reaching the great Gustav VI, leader of the fast growing town of Jayne. a) I want to congratulate the great Gustav VI for doing such a wonderful job of leading the fast growing town of Jayne b)..."

"ACK!! I don't have time for this!!!"

"Pika!" Pikachu was ready to zap the woman, but saw that Ash was against it.

"Do not interrupt, this is how the procedure goes, if you don't follow it then you can't talk to the great Gustav VI."

"But this is a matter of life or death."

"We'll get to that, just follow the procedure!"

"But... oh alright, but please hurry."

"Ok... b)I want to tell the great Gustav VI that I want his great son with my beautiful daughter. c) I want to propose new ideas to the great Gustav VI to stimulate the growth of the already fast growing town of Jayne. d) I want to entertain the great Gustav VI with an act of mine. e) I want to murder the great Gustav VI and take his place as the leader of the fast growing town of Jayne, and finally f) I want to warn the great Gustav VI about an oncoming disaster."

"F!"

Sora's comment: "It just had to be the last one!"

"You've chosen F. Please chose the option that best describes the nature of the oncoming disaster that you want to warn the great Gustav VI about. a)I tidal wave is about to crash on the fast growing city of Jayne. b) The people of the fast growing city of Jayne are secretly planning to revolt against the great Gustav VI. c) The evil Lord Vivi has returned to cause chaos and terror in the fast growing city of Jayne. d) Other..."

"Um... d."

"You've chosen D, please describe the oncoming disaster that's about to strike the fast growing city of Jayne."

"Their's an army just outside the city and they'll attack any moment now!"

"Um... very well. Now, please choose the option that best describes the urgency of your message. a) I could wait for an appointment for about a month. b)It would be very practical that I get this message before the end of the week. c)He has to know today. d) He has to know NOW!"

"D!! D!!"

"Are you saying you are going to answer D to the next question too?"

"Next question? NO! we're running out of time!"

"In that case, it's only one D."

"Ok ok! Just let me talk to him."

"Follow the procedure!! Please choose the option that best describes the method in which you plan to communicate with the great Gustav VI leader of the fast growing town of Jayne."

Sora's comment: "For those of you who don't have the stomach for this, we'll gladly take you back to the rest of the Yellow Team."

Goku, Freya and Ryoga were standing on the rooftop of one of the houses that was on the border of town. They were careful not to be seen while they inspected the enemies's position.

"6 robot tanks," Freya said "and many many soldiers. This is going to be complicated."

"Aw.. come on!" Goku said "I was able to kick Red Ribbon butt even as a small child."

Ryoga and Freya looked at Goku, they knew what he meant but it still sounded funny.

"They seem ready to go, why haven't they attacked all ready?" Ryoga asked.

"They are probably rethinking their strategy." Freya responded "and we better make our own quick."

"Um... I'm not good at this." Goku admitted.

"Me neither..." said Ryoga.

"They are spreading the robot tanks along the perimeter of the city, and the soldiers are standing closely behind, if we can destroy them quick I doubt the soldiers will continue the invasion."

"But how can we?" Ryoga asked "Those things will not go down in one blow, will they? and even the robots tanks outnumber us."

"Goku, you could blast those things faster than any of us could. You should destroy them while Izzy, Ryoga and I hold off the soldiers."

"Ok, I'll give it my best shot!"

General Magenta had contacted headquarters telling them about the situation they had in their hands. They had insisted that he hold off the attack until a special messenger arrived. The General was getting impatient, luckily the city had shown no response to their army placing itself next to the town. The General was about to attack when suddenly a soldier arrived in a small airplane. He got off and walked towards the general.

"Thank your for waiting." said the soldier.

"What do you have for me."

The soldier gave the general a small device. "This will be useful for your invasion."

"What does it do?"

"I haven't been informed sir, all I was told is that you should turn it on right at the beginning of the invasion."

"Is that all?"

"Yes sir!"

"Very well.. we'll commence our invasion right now."

Ash was now getting desperate, this woman would never finish asking questions.

"Please choose the option that best describes your sleeping habits. a)"

"What does that have to do with anything!?"

"Procedure!! Follow the procedure."

Ash thought that the question was at least good for something, it gave him an idea. "Bulbasaur, I choose you!"

"What do you think you're doing?"

"Bulba?"

"Bulbasaur! Sleep powder!"

"Bulbasaur!" Bulbasaur sprayed some sleep powder out of his bulb right at the woman.

"This goes against procedure... I'm.. afraiiiid... I caaaaan't... leeeeeet...zzzzzz..."

Ash caught her before she feel to the ground, and laid her down on the floor and hoped nobody would step on her. He then made his way to the leader of the town. Gustav VI saw Ash coming his way.

"Sir!" Ash yelled "are you the leader of this town?"

"Why yes, I'm Gustav VI leader of the growing town of Jayne."

"We have no time to lose, the Red Ribbon is just outside town ready to..."

"Did you say the Red Ribbon!?"

"Yes, we have to hurry..."

"We certainly do." Gustav VI walked up to the platform where he had read his ancestor's story and yelled "People of Jayne! The Red Ribbon has come back!!"

There was an uproar in the whole town, everyone cheered with all their might.

"What?" Ash was confused, but then he remembered what Goku said about the people of Jayne thinking the Red Ribbon was an army from the heavens. "Wait! You have it all wrong!"

But Gustav VI wasn't paying attention to Ash anymore, he was overwhelmed with joy. "We have to move fast, we can't receive the heavenly army like this."

"No! You have to hide."

Gustav VI wasn't hearing anything Ash was telling him, people started to run everywhere, placing even more decorations than there had been. Ash looked at his pokemon as if looking for advice, but both Pikachu and Bulbasaur were clueless. Luckily Ash got an idea.

"MR. GUSTAV!!!!!!"

That got Gustav VI's attention. "What is it boy."

"You didn't let me finish, I not only came to tell you about the arrival of the Red Ribbon, I also have a message, there is a reason why they are here."

"What is it?"

"The Red Ribbon returned to protect you, because Lord Vivi has returned."

Gustav VI's face became white as flour and started to sweat.

"The Red Ribbon will fight with all their might, but they want the people of Jayne to hide in a safe place."

Gustav VI nodded, he faced his people of Jayne and yelled "People of Jayne, this is no time to celebrate. The reason why the Red Ribbon returned is because Lord Vivi has returned as well."

All the noise in the town had disappeared in an instant, it scared Ash. Then everyone started to yell in panic.

"Calm down!" said Gustav VI "as long as the Red Ribbon is here to protect us no harm will come. We just have to hide in a safe place."

The people of Jayne calmed down a little, but there was still a lot of commotion.

"Let's go to the shelters built by our ancestors in case something like this ever happened."

Gustav VI lead his people to the shelters beneath the city, the cry of women and children was deafening. Ash sighed and left to check on the others.

Freya, Ryoga, Izzy and Tentomon readied themselves for the battle. Goku placed himself in the main street of town, just out of view of a Magitek armor, he waited for the signal to attack.

"Ready?" Freya asked, both Ryoga and Izzy nodded. "Let's do it then."

Izzy looked at Tentomon and raised his digivice.

"Tentomon digivolves to... Kabuterimon!"

Kabuterimon took the sky and towards the Red Ribbon army, Freya and Ryoga ran in that direction as well.

"ATTACK!!" yelled General Magenta.

The soldiers of the Red Ribbon where about to run into the city when they saw Kabuterimon flying toward them, the raised their guns to attack. They were about to fire when they were attacked by a storm of cherry blossom petals. Many of them hadn't realized it but some soldiers were falling among them. Many fired towards the sky but Kabuterimon didn't even need to avoid the bullets.

"Electroshock!!" Kabuterimon attacked a group of soldiers and many were sent flying by the impact.

Freya and Ryoga were fighting the soldiers in close combat, both were too fast for the soldiers who fell before even realizing they were being attacked.

Goku stood in front of the first Magitek Armor. "Kaaaaa...Meeeee...Haaaaaaa...Meeeeeee.. HAAAAAAAAAA!!" His attack hit the Magitek Armor and it exploded in an instant. Goku smiled and ran to where the next Magitek Armor was placed.

The second Magitek Armor was not far from the first, it had started to attack and had already destroyed a house. Goku reached it and was ready to attack again. "Kaaaaa...Meeeee...Haaaaaaa..." but just then a portal opened behind the Magitek armor, and suddenly a monster stepped out. Goku was confused and stared at the monster.

Izzy ran towards Goku yelling "Goku!! that's a digimon!!"

"Izzy!" Goku yelled "Watch out! This is dangerous."

"It's name is Skullmeramon!! it's an ultimate digimon!"

"What does that mean?"

"It's real powerful!"

"Alright!!" Goku was so distracted that the Magitek armor hit him with an ice beam. He was frozen on the spot.

"Ohoh..." said Izzy. For a moment he thought about helping Goku, but changed his mind when a bolt beam barely missed him. He ran for cover.

The frozen Goku was hit by Skullmeramon and crashed against a wall, he was freed from his ice prison but it hurt him a lot. "Owowowow!! Hey that's cheating!!" He leaped and threw a jumping kick right on Skullmeramon's stomach. He only succeeded in pushing him a centimeter back, Skullmeramon responded by pounding Goku and sending him crashing to the ground, he then stomped on him.

Freya and Ryoga did great for a moment, but after the element of surprise had ended things took a turn for the worse. The soldiers had regrouped and Ryoga and Freya had to avoid being shot instead of attacking, in the end they had to run back to town to take cover. At that moment Kabuterimon became target practice and also had to fly back to town.

Ryoga and Freya ran into the same alley Ash and Ryoga had gone to earlier. "What is taking Goku so long?"

"Those robot tanks must be tougher than we thought."

Freya and Ryoga didn't have too much time to think when a fire beam burned right through a wall next to them, leaving a hole large enough to easily walk through. They had no choice but to leave the alley and where suddenly confronted with a Magitek armor. Freya leaped and threw her spear at it but it just bounced off it's armor, Freya caught it in the bounce and then leaped back. Ryoga tried to attack it but he barely avoided a couple of missiles shot by it. The missiles hit a house behind them and after an explosion left nothing but some ashes. Ryoga and Freya regrouped, but then they noticed the Red Ribbon army marching into town.

"Now what?" Ryoga said, they had a Magitek Armor in front of them and the Red Ribbon army behind.

"We have to go through that robot tank somehow and then regroup at the center of town."

Just then something hit the Magitek Armor from behind, the blast was powerful enough at least to make it stumble forward. Freya and Ryoga didn't hesitate and ran right past it, after leaving it behind they saw Ash, Pikachu and Bulbasaur who was crouching in a way that his bulb pointed forward, meaning he had just shot a solar beam.

"ASH!!" Ryoga yelled "Good timing!"

"Thanks!"

"No time for this now!" Freya said, let's run back to the center.

Skullmeramon had his foot on top of Goku, who was trying with all his might to get him off. After a while Goku was finally able to push Skullmeramon's foot away and leaped away before he stomped on him again. After recovering he saw the Magitek Armor walking besides him ready to attack. Goku charged quickly at it, picked it up and turned it towards Skullmeramon before it fired. Skullmeramon was hit with an ice beam, but it only succeeded in making him angry.

"Heavy Metal Fire!!" Skullmeramon destroyed the Magitek Armor, Goku had been quick to get out of the way.

After that Goku readied himself and said "Hehe, you're pretty strong. I'm going to enjoy this."

Sora's comment: "Sure Goku, ignore the fact the town is about to be destroyed and your team will be annihilated. You go have a good time!"

The Yellow Team minus Goku regrouped in the center of town.

Izzy: "I'm glad you guys are here, I was worried you wouldn't make it."

Ryoga: "We almost didn't!"

Freya: "Where's Goku!?"

Izzy: "He's going to very busy."

Ash: "Now what!?"

Freya: "We have to make our stand!"

Ryoga: "That's crazy! we won't stand a chance!"

Freya: "Are you giving up?"

Izzy: "Freya, you said the badge was for when we ran out of options, I think this qualifies."

Freya: "We can still do it without it."

Ash: "But Freya!"

Freya: "Never depend on a bigger force to get you of a problem. Izzy!"

Izzy: "Yes?"

Freya: "Give us some time to fight them, if you see that it is truly hopeless, then use the badge."

Izzy: "Ok Freya, I understand."

Ryoga: "Here they come!"

Four Magitek Armors arrived in the center of town, the Red Ribbon marched behind them. Freya saw visions of Burmecia being invaded by black mages, killing it's inhabitants without any mercy. She also say the citizens of Cleyra dyeing meaninglessness, she was unable to protect them and it was a burden she still carried today. Anger and frustration reached her at the thought of the same thing happening again.

The rest of the Yellow Team saw that something was happening to Freya, a bright light surrounded her and waves of energy moved around her. When the light faded Freya's clothes and skin looked like shiny silver.

"What's happening?" asked Ash.

Freya didn't respond, she just leaped into the air. She leaped higher than they had ever seen, so high that in a second she was out of sight. They then turned around to look at the Red Ribbon to strike and where ready for the battle. All of a sudden dozens and dozens of spears started to rain from the sky. The soldiers started to panic when many got struck and where killed instantly. Unfortunately the attacks where not strong enough to harm the Magitek Armors.

"Kabuterimon!!" Izzy yelled.

Kabuterimon took off and quickly attacked "Electroshock!!" He hit a Magitek Armor and partially damaged it, but responded with a Bolt Beam, which Kabuterimon barely avoided.

"Pikachu! Thundershock! Bulbasaur! Solar Beam!!"

"PIKACHUU!" Pikachu attacked a Magitek Armor, the attack didn't do much but it did affect it in some way because it started moving clumsily and didn't attack.

Ryoga decided to take the opportunity and attacked "Baksai Tenketsu!!" He buried his finger on the ground right in front of the Magitek Armor and the explosion made a hole right beneath it, it fell in and got stuck.

The two other Magitek Armors attacked Ash and Izzy, one attacked with it's Fire Beam, but Bulbasaur was able to shot his Solar Beam and the two attacks nullified each other. The other attacked with an Ice Beam, but Kabuterimon flew down and got them both out of the way.

Pikachu attacked the Magitek Armor that Kabuterimon had initially hit, because of the damage it had received from Kabuterimon the electric attack was a lot more effective. Sparks started flying and the Magitek Armor then exploded.

The two remaining Magitek Armors focused on Kabuterimon, they attacked with Fire Beams and gave him a hard time. Ash yelled at Bulbasaur who the Magitek Armors were ignoring. "Bulbasaur! Leech Seed!!"

"Bulbasaur!!" Bulbasaur shot a couple of seeds from his bulb and hit the Magitek Armors with it. The energy they absorbed was nothing to them, but it did slow them down. Ryoga took the opportunity and jumped on one of them. He destroyed the capsule that held the pilot and punched him on the face, making him unconscious.

Kabuterimon took the opportunity and attacked the last one. "Electroshock!!"

It was hit and clumsily stepped back, Ryoga leaped and buried his finger on it. "Baksai Tenketsu!!" there was an explosion and the Magitek Armor was left with a big hole on it's chest. The pilot who found it hopeless hit the eject button and was sent flying out of it's Magitek Armor.

Izzy and Ash saw that what they had planned had been correct, once the Magitek Armors were destroyed the rest of the soldiers ran away, he rain of spears also help to motivate them. Once they were out of sight Freya came back to the ground, despite the height she landed gracefully, she still had the same color, but it was duller now, not shiny as it had been. Freya was then engulfed in another bright light and after it faded Freya was back to normal. Freya then fell on one knee and used her spear to avoid falling completely. Kabuterimon landed and went back to being Tentomon, everyone went to check on Freya.

"Freya!" Ash yelled "are you ok?"

"I'm fine, just a little tired. Tentomon must know how I feel."

"What was that?" Izzy asked.

"It's called Trance, it draws out all my power."

"Now I know what you mean when you say I know how that feels." Tentomon said.

"See Izzy? We didn't need the badge."

Izzy smiled "You're right, but your trance was almost like if you had used a badge."

"Don't spoil my moment."

"Sorry, you were fantastic!"

"Hey! What about Goku!?" Ryoga said.

"Oh I almost forgot!"

"Ash, stay here with Freya. The rest of us will go help Goku!"

Ash nodded, he stood by Freya as Ryoga, Izzy and Tentomon hurried towards where Goku was.

Goku was still fighting Skullmeramon, both were showing signs of having fought a hard battle. Goku had learned that Skullmeramon's attack and defense were both superb, his flaw however was his speed. So Goku adopted a hit and run strategy, his speed and strength were enough to hurt Skullmeramon. Unfortunately Skullmeramon had at one moment surprised Goku by throwing a chain and trapping Goku with it. Goku had spent a couple of minutes being smashed against some walls and against the ground. Goku eventually freed himself but the damage had been done, he still had plenty of fight in him though.

Goku stood in front of Skullmeramon, both took a moment to rest a bit and examine their opponents. Goku heard Izzy and Ryoga arrived.

"Goku! we're here to help!" Ryoga yelled.

"NO!" Goku yelled "I want to finish him on my own!"

"But Goku!" Izzy yelled.

"I know the rest of the Red Ribbon has left, and I'm proud of you guys. Please let me finish this fight on my own."

Ryoga and Izzy looked at each other.

"Let him finish," Tentomon said "Goku like Izzy loves what he does, let him enjoy it."

"Tentomon?"

"Come on Izzy! as much as you would appreciate someone helping you with a problem, you enjoy solving everything on your own, I know you."

"You're right, we'll let Goku handle Skullmeramon on his own."

Sora's comment: "Tentomon, forever the diplomat. I've been making more comments than usual no?"

Goku faced Skullmeramon again, he charged and in an instant hit Skullmeramon right on the face, but didn't stay still, he moved around and hit Skullmeramon several times all around the body. Izzy and Tentomon had completely lost sight of Goku and Ryoga could barely follow his movements. Skullmeramon was having a hard time trying to hit Goku, but the blows Goku was landing were not enough to stun him. Skullmeramon suddenly heated up his whole body and he was engulfed in a blue flame. Goku was burned and leaped back. Goku was ready for the big one. "Kamehamehaaaa!!"

Skullmeramon was hit by Goku's kamehameha and was pushed back a couple of meters, but then he started to withstand the beam and started to walk against it. Goku kept the pressure on but Skullmeramon was advancing steadily. Goku increased the power but Skullmeramon was still advancing. Goku was clearly sweating, but increased the power even more. Izzy, Tentomon and Ryoga could no longer see Skullmeramon because completely engulfed in Goku's kamehameha. Skullmeramon however, was still advancing.

Izzy for a moment thought about helping Goku, but then remembered what Tentomon said. He then figured Goku would not lose that easily.

Skullmeramon was almost standing right in front of Goku. Goku stopped doing the kamehameha and leaped away right before Skullmeramon attacked, he pounded the ground right where Goku had stood. Goku took the opportunity and attacked again. He raised his arm and made a disk of energy appear "Kienzan!"

The disk hit Skullmeramon right on the right shoulder and went right through, it cut his right arm off which immediately disintegrated. Ryoga, Izzy and Tentomon cheered. Skullmeramon was angrier than ever.

At this point Goku felt that he had won the fight, he then had a 'fun' idea. He did a technique that he hadn't done in a long time because any warrior with a good training would not be fooled by it, but Skullmeramon was probably not one. "Zanzoken!"

Skullmeramon was then surrounded by dozen's of Goku's, many of them made funny faces at him, others seemed to ignore him, a few looked like the were about to attack, but when Skullmeramon tried to hit them they would disappear.

Izzy was completely fooled, he and Tentomon thought Goku had cloned himself, but Ryoga wasn't fooled, but was still impressed at Goku's speed.

"How did Goku do that?" Izzy said.

"He's not multiplying himself" responded Ryoga "he just moves so fast that our eyes trick us into thinking there are several of him."

"Oh... wow!"

After a while Goku got bored and decided to end the fight, an image of him attacked Skullmeramon from the right, because he only had his left arm Skullmeramon had to almost turn completely around to try to punch him. The image disappeared and Skullmeramon was left without any leverage, Goku threw a sweeping kick that knocked Skullmeramon off his feet. Goku caught him and threw him straight into the air. "Kamehamehaaaa!!!"

Because Skullmeramon was on the air and had only one arm left he couldn't defend himself correctly and was destroyed by Goku's attack, he disintegrated on impact.

Shortly after the battle had ended the guys were joined by Freya, Ash and Pikachu.

"Is everything ok?" Ash asked.

"Yeah!" Ryoga responded "how about you?"

"We destroyed the remaining robot tanks." Freya said.

"But we let the pilots escape first." Ash said.

"At Ash's request."

"Hey, we couldn't kill them in cold blood."

"Pika!"

"We really should get going, I had to tell the people of Jayne that the Red Ribbon appeared to fight off Lord Vivi's demons. Let's get out of her before they think we're those demons."

"That's a good idea." Izzy said.

"But I'm hungry!" Goku said.

"Goku, as much as I'd like to please you, we really should get going." said Freya.

"Aw..."

The Yellow Team left the city of Jayne.

The Yellow Team walked for a while until they reached a river. Goku asked his team to stop so that he could fish for them. Since everyone was really hungry they agreed, but when Goku put his hands to do a kamehameha they all stopped him and showed that they were against doing it that way, especially Ryoga. Goku sighed, took off his clothes and took a dive. While Goku did some fishing the rest of the Team sat down to catch up on a few things.

Freya: "Ok Izzy, now tell us, why did the Red Ribbon invade Jayne?"

Izzy: "Ok, remember the disk Tai gave me?"

Ash: "Yeah, you made a weird text file of it, it didn't make much sense."

Izzy: "Well I spent the last night studying that weird text file, I made many corrections trying to make sense of some sentences. There is still a lot of messed up knowledge, but I was able to get some more info out of it."

Ryoga: "You sure work hard on that sort of stuff."

Tentomon: "You have no idea."

Ash: "So what did you come up with."

Izzy: "This disk belonged at some point to the Red Ribbon, it is actually a log of their scientific activity."

Ash: "That much we already knew."

Izzy: "Let me continue, at first I thought it described the research done to create Kyougumon."

Freya: "And it doesn't?"

Izzy: "Well yes it does, but that's just part of the project, not the whole."

Pikachu saw that Goku was throwing dozens of fish out of the water, he was impressed how fast Goku could catch them.

Izzy: "The disk describes the true intentions of the Red Ribbon on this island, and Kyougumon is an important part of it."

Freya: "You still haven't answered the question of why the Red Ribbon invaded Jayne."

Izzy: "Something is going to happen in this island, and not just in Jayne, in various places as well."

Ash: "What?"

Izzy: "That I don't know, but I'm sure Kyougumon is going to cause it."

Goku yelled from the river "Hey what's this!?"

Everyone turned around and saw Goku holding a Magikarp. Ash yelled "That's a Magikarp! Throw it back!"

"Why?"

Ash didn't just felt comfortable eating a pokemon, but he figured Goku wouldn't mind, so he gave a different, yet true reason. "Magikarps are just skin and bones! they aren't good to eat."

"Oh..." That seemed good enough for Goku so he threw it back, he resumed fishing and Izzy resumed his explanation.

"I think the Red Ribbon is looking for some source of great power, and maybe Kyougumon is acting like some sort of tracer for it."

Ash: "But what about Sailor Moon?"

Freya: "Sailor Moon?"

Ash: "The disk did mention her."

Izzy: "Yes, but I still don't understand that part."

Ryoga: "So what are we supposed to do? drop the Ultimate Challenge and go stop the Red Ribbon?"

Freya: "As much as I'd regret that, it sounds like the correct thing to do."

Izzy: "I also thought about it, but then some questions started to pop in my head."

Ash: "Like?"

Izzy: "Let's face it, the Red Ribbon's activity hasn't exactly been secret, they had this really huge base in the desert, they had soldiers in the town of Highthorn, I can't believe the crew of the Ultimate Challenge didn't notice them, doesn't that sound strange?"

Freya: "It does sound awfully suspicious."

Izzy: "And if we hadn't been in the Ultimate Challenge how would we have learned or any of this, traveling around this island we've learned many things. I think the other teams may have learned other things as well."

Ryoga: "But come on Izzy! do you think this contest was set up so that we would eventually learn of the Red Ribbon's plans and stop them?"

Izzy: "I find it hard to believe too, it's just that it all sounds so strange."

Just then something landed right besides them. when they turned around they saw it was Biyomon.

Tentomon: "Biyomon! What are you doing here?"

Biyomon: "Sora sent me, she isn't allowed to talk to you, but nobody said I couldn't."

Freya: "Sora?"

Biyomon: "I have a message from her. She wants to tell you that the host of the Ultimate Challenge don't know what's going on either and are just as confused as you are."

Ash: "Geesh... that can't be good."

Izzy: "What about the organizers?"

Biyomon: "The hosts don't know them, everything was done through e-mail, at first everything looked so professional, but then it was just weird."

Ryoga: "You only came here to tell us that?"

Biyomon: "No, Biyomon has more things to tell. Sora wants you to know some things that have happened to the other teams so that you're informed, that's why Sora is continuing her job, to learn things you can't by yourself."

Freya: "What should we know?"

Biyomon: "Kyougumon has already digivolved into Teromon."

Everyone: "!!!!"

Izzy: "HOW!?"

Biyomon: "He did it by absorbing Queen Garnet, the Red Team witnessed it."

Ash: "What the!?"

Izzy: "I think I understand, the file does talk about the qualities of certain people and how the would benefit Kyougumon, but I couldn't understand it. I think I understand know, just like the digidestined where scanned and their digimon were created based on our information; Kyougumon er... Teromon was also created with the information of other chosen ones. Queen Garnet must have been one, but the process seems a lot more aggressive than with the digidestined."

Biyomon: "Sora wants you to know Teromon has already tried to absorb Sailor Moon in New Alexandria, but the Red and Blue Team stopped him."

Freya: "Looks like we're missing the action."

Ash: "We can't complain, I mean we just stopped the invasion of a whole army, and everything that happened in that cave was pretty exciting."
