The leader of the group. Tai is quick to action regardless of the situation. He cares about doing what's right without hesitating. He's also quite playful and a bit of a joker but can be very serious when he has to be. He's Kari's older brother and deeply cares for her. He worries too much because his sister is very quiet about her feelings and won't say when she isn't feeling right. Tai holds the crest of courage for obvious reasons.

Tai's digimon partner is Agumon. Agumon admires Tai because of his strong will and because he always seems to know what to do. Agumon will listen to all of Tai's words and imitate all of his actions, even if it isn't always the best thing to do. Agumon evolution stages are Greymon, Metalgreymon and Wargreymon.
